[Q] I need the G2X Qualcomm modem service programming code number. - T-Mobile LG G2x

Does anyone have the G2X Qualcomm MDM6600 service programming code?
I hit a roadblock in my attempts to get the modem radio band setting AT commands to work for setting the bands to ones other than the default ones enabled on the G2X. Although the AT command works, the modem responds with +CME Error 3 for any attempt to set the band except for the default CDMA 1700 MHz band. I think I can get the band changing to work if I can initialize the modem's service mode but I need the service programming code for the modem.
If you have the service programming code or know how I can access it, please send it to me via a private message.
Here's the Service Programming Code AT command I need to use with the service programming code:
Service Programming Code +WSPC
Description: This command allows for entry of the service programming code (either MSL or OTKSL). Upon successful entry of this code, all other service provisioning AT commands may be used. If this code is not properly entered prior to attempting other provisioning AT commands, all provisioning commands will return ERROR.
If the OTKSL is used to enter provisioning mode, only the +WIMI, +WMDN, and +WCMT commands will be allowed. All other commands will return ERROR.
This command supports five attempts to enter the correct service programming code. If five incorrect attempts are performed, the ME will power down.
Once the correct SPC code is entered, the modem transitions to the Service Programming state. This state is not exited until a commit is done (+WCMT). While in the Service Programming state, subsequent validations of the SPC code are ignored until the Service Programming state is reset.
Values: <lock type>
0 OTKSL – One Time Key Subsidy Lock
1 MSL – Master Subsidy Lock
<code> Six character programming code.
Syntax: Command syntax: AT+WSPC=<lock type>,<code>

[Q] How to find SPC code?

How to find SPC code?
I logged into hiden menu and the Global told me to enter it.
What is it??
Plz tell me what hidden menu you loged in ?
i know what it is,
open the dialer , and type ##7764726
then the phone will request you to input the spc code, but i didnt get what it is.
i googled and got that the default code should be 000000, but not working for me! how can i find it out
Switch to CDMA mode and code will 'become' 000000
For GSM/UMTS mode - code is not that one (unknown).

Interesting. Let me try it out.
I wonder if it will stil work provided that I am using GSM network.
I just tried it.
YOu can access the hidden menu by setting the network to Global or CDMA
Dial "##7764726"
Then enter 000000 as the SPC Code
The hidden menu is a little different than what we see on the net. It seems that the Droid 2 Global additional settings.
I went to choice 06 (Test Mode) and kept pressing next until it came to "Field Test Screen" and changed the service option from the default EVRC to EVRC-B which is suggested on the net for better call quality.
However, I wonder if this does any improvement for GSM users. To be able to access the hidden menu using the SPC Code 000000 I had to change the network to Global or CDMA. I am unable to use the same SPC code when the network is set to GSM.
I only wonder if GSM users need to set to something other than EVRC-B for better sound quality and also stronger network signal.
Anyway, after setting to EVRC-B I went back and changed the network to GSM/UMTS and the network signal still remains week. NOt sure about sound quality.
some say that the gsm signal is only wrongly showed, do you think so? in fact i can still make phone call with one bar of signal
Not sure what to say.
I also can make calls with one signal strength but the 3G speed varies alot. At times it is super fast and at times it lags.
It has to do something with the signal strength.
Normally Hong Kong has very good singal strength becuse Hong Kong is a small place.
We should easily be able to make phone calls with just 1 signal bar strength.
Does anyone know the signal strength for the recently released Milestone 2 in Hong Kong?

Have you tried the Hidden Menu trick?
You are using GSM also right?
Easy to get it
Just follow this :
Method 1 of the following link(only steps 0 to step 4[until click "RDELEM"] ):
you have to choose the "Main -> MA -> CDMA1X -> QSC 60x5 Chipset Base (6055/6075/6085)"
http://www.mobile-files.com/forum/showthread.php/433-Motorola-CDMA-SPCs-For-Dummies?
and instead of element id 0055, use element ID: 2786. This will give to you the Hex value:
SPC HexaDecimal: 3x003x003x003x003x003x
the "x" are the 6 values of the SPC.

do not write any value with radioComm, just get the spc value.
do you know how I can connect droid x to radio com. I boot in to bootloader, and radiocomm is green. I put element 2786 but when I try to read, it say critical error on the phone and didn't read the spc code.

[Q] Droid 2 Global

N00B here! but tried to gather as much info as I could..
Got a VZW droid 2 global from ebay that the seller profiled as "unlocked"
I'm in Central America and trying to register it with a GSM 850/1900 carrier but it won't connect to the network at all.
It had a 14 IMEI code... found it's translation to 15 to 17 IMEI and bought a the unlock code on a site. I got the unlock code but the phone has nowhere to enter it.
Found a post stating that it should ask for the code after inserting a foreign sim card or waiting 30 minutes if nothing happens. tried that and there's no prompt.
I have accessed the testing menu with *#*#4636#*#* and select the GSM only and WCDMA preferred (I got an HTC Inspire 4G working with that one here) and it is recognizing the GSM 850/1900 local carriers but unable to get any network access from them.
Found that VZW locks the carrier's network ids but the phone is recognizing them.
Again: ir recognizes the networks but is not asking for an unlock code... all the posts states to enter the code but they don't say how (the phone must prompt it automatically)
Please let me know if there is any way to manually pull up the field to enter the unlock code or if I can try anything else to unlock it
Thanks!
First, the phone's IMEI is written on the label under the battery.
Second, if you switch it to GSM mode it will output the IMEI in *#06# and in Settings, About phone, Status.
The 14 digit code you mentioned is probably MEID in hex form.
Switching to GSM is done by going to Settings, Wireless & networks, Mobile networks, Network Mode.
Using the service menu you mentioned is wrong and can lead to the phone being unable to connect to GSM at all, in which case you must reflash the SBF.
Actually I got the unlock code but there is nowhere to enter it.
Also it allowed to me to at least view the available networks after changing it to GSM/WCDMA and seems to be trying to connect to one but there's no signal at all.
If I do a network search now it will show me the available networks 5 or 6 (2G&3G), selected one and it just shows that it is not able to connect to that network
BTW, found that the radio was off as well and had to switch it on using the testing menu because by going to Settings, Wireless & networks, Mobile networks didn't allow me to access it at all, it was just grayed out and there was no way I could turn on the radio using that option..... sorry... I think I got everything I need except where to enter the unlock code
It looks like you have successfully (like other people before you) fried the GSM radio settings. Congratulations.
You need to flash the SBF to reset the phone's radio module to its original state.
If you actually bought a phone that was already unlocked it won't ask for an unlock code.
A locked phone asks for the code the moment you power it on and let it boot with a non-Verizon SIM card.
The code you supposedly bought is not for your phone at all, because you requested it for an IMEI you made yourself from something that was never an IMEI.
For me, The unlock screen appear only on original rom with non-verizon sim.
not appear on custom rom.

[Q] Process for Unlocking Blaze

I got some unlock code, but I can not seem to be able to enter them into the phone?!?
1) I have rebooted the phone many times with another SIM and without the SIM; the phone never asks me to enter a pass code.
2) I have tried the following sequences:
a) #0111*11111111#
b) #7465625*638*11111111#
c) *#7465625*638*11111111#
e) *#7465625*638*22222222#
f) *#7465625*638*33333333#
g) *#7465625*638*44444444#
I used freeunlocks.com and they gave me codes in this format:
NETWORK=11111111 PROVIDER=22222222 SUBPROVIDER=33333333 DEFREEZE=44444444
None of them work? any suggestions? Am, not entering them correctly?
Thanks
I found out how to: "Enter network lock control key"
By entering: #7465625*638*# you will get the "Enter network lock control key" Input field.
Then I entered the code from freeunlocks.com; and it tells me "unlock successful".
Does anyone know of a way to verify that the phone is unlocked with actually using a new SIM?
Thanks
It does work, I'm currently using it in South America. Only problem I'm having right now is usb tethering and mobile hotspot.... I think it may be due to T-Mobile firmware.

msl code

When i input my msl code in the dialer
##xxxxxx#
Msl nam info comes up. I can edit MDN and MIN.
Can i use this to connect it to AT&T.?
cause in the sprint website to unlock phones.
They provide you with the msl for the other carriers to use
You can give it a try. But unless the phone is unlocked I don't thing so..

ussd codes

hi
For GSM technology, there are USSD codes that enable activating or deactivating some functionalities on the device (You can find reference GSM info at: Unstructured Supplementary Service Data - Wikipedia
I wonder if you know or have access to Verizon to find out Verizon's CDMA list of similar codes.
Assuming you can find that info, maybe we could activate or deactivate auto SMS reply and/ or other features to improve the device' functionalities...
