Back before the bolt came out one of the rumors was that Thunderbolt users would be one of the first to get Google Music (can't find the thread right now, it was on Android Central's forums)
I know Xoom owners got first dibs but I got my invite about an hour ago and rushed home from some errands and started uploading...
Was just wondering if any other Thunderbolt users got an invite today?
Got mine randomly on Saturday morning
Got mine last week, but have not used.
What's Google Music?

got mine on saturday. tried it out, it's ok, but for now I'm sticking with audio galaxy as my music streaming option.
How's it compare to Amazon music cloud player? You get 20gigs for like 99 cents and free free for a year.

I'm on a tbolt and got mine 5 days ago...lol

So far I uploaded 60 gigs and haven't been asked for 1 penny.

i uploaded all my music this weekend. I LOVE it! But I got my invite because of my Xoom
Maybe my internet is slow.. I've uploaded 570 of 1,740...in three days. It's slow as hell uploading.
I want my invite!
Sent request, havent received anything yet.
How does google know i have a tbolt?
Sent from my ADR6400L using XDA App
Still waiting patiently for mine.
got my invite on friday, pretty impressed so far, though it would be great if there was a way to get podcasts as part of it...i'm sure it's coming eventually though.

It seems like you get even more for nothing with Google. But Amazon doesn't count the music you buy from them for the storage as I understand.
Any non-Xoom owners getting invites? I am very curious to see how the service works.
yep
Oh yeah thanks for reminding me. yea i got an invite
Got mine a couple of days ago. It is taking forever to upload 10,000 songs. I hope its not too much when it goes paid, or doesn't get shutdown.
Its pretty barebones, it streams my music which is what I want. Sounds the same as Cloud Player, but its free and holds all my music for now.
i got mine a few days ago as well. it does seem to take forever to upload but once thats done then its all sooth sailing
Ok guys, here it is:
Contemplating buying a used Verizon version Xoom 32GB in good condition (no scratches) with wireless bluetooth keyboard and cover/case for it for $350. What do you guys think about this deal? I think it's pretty good considering the prices they go for used on eBay and Amazon Marketplace. I need some advice...and soon. I'm supposed to meet this guy in an hour and a half.
Very awesome deal. Do it.
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
Good deal. Depending on how used the xoom is.

No, these do not change. I picked up the ones I thought were worth it already yesterday. Granny Smith, Asphalt 7, Draw Something.
Runtastic is good if you run, which I don't. Except the 5 minutes at the gym.
Looks like the only one worth something in here is OfficeSuite Pro 6... but I will know next week, when the lectures will start. Someone recommends anything from that list?

Not True

There is unofficial SwiftKey 75% off FYI.
May want to wait and see through the end of the discount cycle though.

Thanks mate, i've just purchased FIFA12, World of Goo and Paper Camera.
If Titanium Backup and Tapatalk are up tomorrow for this low price, i'll get those as well
I already got Swiftkey very cheap a few months ago
World Of Goo for 25p? I'm having some of that! I paid £7 for it on Wii and loved it, so 25p to have it portable is a bargain! Hoping there'll be more great games like that available in the sale.

I just saw this on the Vibrant forum. The power skin adds another 1500 mah. Though u have to pay a higher shipping charge, still a very good deal. It should fit our phone perfectly. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2005924

Got 2 ordered and my roomie ordered 2. Shipping to Canada was $11 for one, $38 total for 4.
Nice idea for US citizens, for Israel for example, shipping itself costs 30$... at this cost I order 4 OEM batteries... (plus it's huge)

I got mine the other day. With the powerskin on, it is thicker, but I let a stopwatch software run all night, after 14 hours of full on screen time, the powerglove was at 0 and my stock battery was at 35% and I had to charge it for todays use. not bad to get 14+ hours of screen time usuage.

Ya, but will be good for those long trips when you need extra juice and don't have charging available, and since they were a penny, hey. lol.
Mine is awesome
If I helped out, hit the thanks button.
To the people who bought one, how long does it take to ship?

Mine showed within the week.
I received it in about week, it came by First Class mail.

Ordered the 16th when I posted, got it the 28th and that's all the way up here in Canada, eh.

Only gripe is it doesn't mount USB when you plug in through the side charging port, so you have to remove it from the case if you want to access your SD card. I used airdroid or samba share anyways, so doesn't bother me much. I like samba share, my phone appears right in my network along with the other zillion devices on my network, so easy to copy to.

Can someone who plans to order one order 2 instead and I'll paypal him/her the mailing fee to me. For some reason they want 30$ for international shiping - there is no way this costs that much.

Or they don't do that for international?
The coupon gives me no discount but at least they dropped price from 30$ to 15$ for international. Just ordered one.

When I used the code, it dropped shipping... by one penny. But hey, every cent counts?
In the course of 3 years, I have spent $204.50 USD. I thought it was note worthy, so share your numbers!!
MOD edit- Please remember that here on XDA it is against the rules to post or to discuss how to obtain apps that cost money for free

I'm not sure I know how to tell. I've bought everything I felt worthy of buying for sure. Some of them I couldn't do without. I mean, who would really try to find pirated Android apps to save 99 cents? :cyclops:
$32.46 in 4.5 months.
Around $10. In two years is not that much
i never bought one app.
around 20$ in the last 1.5 years

Please remember that we do not post or discuss how to obtain "paid for apps" for free here on XDA
I last two years I have spent about $60. I do not play games, though, so these are tools mostly, and music apps.
For a single use, I usually get free apps, but when I use an application for a longer time, I want to show my appreciation to a developer, and I buy it. Most of the time it is not a lot of money, anyway.
