Well i was using odin and it said it fail,so what do i do? I unplug the usb cable and that's were it all happend,my phone wont go into download mode,recovery mode,wont even turn on,all black screen can someone please help me

get a usb jig, or purchase the unbrick service.
It's possible that the jig will get you into download mode, and possible it might not.
There is always the unbrick service, though
EDIT: Wow, I didn't notice that before, but mobiletechvideos is now offering unbrickable mod! Very cool! IOW, you should have them unbrickable mod your phone, and never worry about bricking again

I was trying to return my Infuse 4G back to stock using Odin3 but for some reason mid way through it, it said my phone had disconnected even though it wasn't touched at all. Now it wont boot up, go into recovery or anything I push the power button and theres nothing no sign of life :O but I can still put it into download mode but everytime i do that and i go to odin3 and start running the process <ID:0/004> factoryfs.rfs <<<< when it gets right there it says my device was removed again. then it just keeps repeating device added, device removed.... I tried 2 different USB ports. Someone please help? Sorry if this isn't the correct spot for this.

my solution was to use a different usb cable and a different port on my computer..
and my usb cable was brand new ..but wouldnt work..trust me try new cable and different port
cable..cable ..cable!!!!!

I'll buy a new cable to see if that'll work, but I had no problem before with this cable even with odin3... :/ But thank you for the reply!

So true well i just got it to work... and how i got it to work is pretty unique, I think someone is playing a joke on me... I had to plug the phone in put it into download mode and hold it over my head... when I did that there were no connection problems.. had to do it for the full 4 minutes it took to reset the phone. anyways thanks again!

i would say that it is probably the contacts in usb cable ...glad you got it to work!!

first of all it was working all good with jvu saurom port then out of curiosity i decided to go for jbparanoid,
after that everything is good but i decided to go back to gb(jvu saurom port) i cant seem to load it to red cwm after flashing the port of jvu,
so i tried formating /system/cache/data still no red nor regularbootup
stupidity strikes i decided to format boot :crying: there i got the samsung logo but wont even start to boot nor i cant access blue or red cwm :crying::crying:
now im on my laptop trying to go back to stock and Download mode it cant even show the option its just samsung logo and it cant even be recognized by my laptop tried uninstalling everything that relates to samsung and fresh install kies and samsung drivers but no luck tried heimdall/odin it doesnt go it cant even recognize my phone :crying::crying:

Try pulling the battery then put battery in and hold volume up and volume down then plug in USB cable and see if it goes into download mode. If it doesn't the ONLY two things that will possibly work is a USB jig or getting a memeber who can JTAG it and recover it for you.

Did that sir a retractable one but no use
Sometimes it's just a matter of waiting and perseverance. Try disconnecting your phone from the computer, taking the battery out, leaving it for 10 mins. & then coming back and trying again.

Ok thanks will try that im taking every advice i can get my other option is go back to at&t if not ill get jig online ill take out the battery right now. Sad thing about it my laptop nor pc wont recognize it tried a bunch of drivers and removed a bunch too

do you get any kind of error message when you try to connect the phone.... I had a similar problem and had to redownload the drivers ..... then was able to get the computer to recgonize the phone... the other issue you might have is a bad USB cable.

Its installing as unknown device and sometimes it cant read it

Good that at&t send you new one bro, but mine before have a problem totally bricked samsung vibrant and my samsung infuse which has power button problem i send it to here http://mobiletechvideos.mybigcommerce.com/ is fast shipping and services are amazing, i can't complain to at&t since i bought phones from craiglists before.

yeah im still in warranty so no questions about it they said well rreplace it asap so yeah..lesson learned

Need not to worry as its not a HARD Brick. Its a soft brick.
Just flash any stock firmware through odin. Give a try. Not sure if it will work.

he can't enter download mode. so odin won't work. @bbakr u can try USB JIG on your phone and enter factory download mode for odin flashing. i hope this works.

there is an alternative download mode on your phone called factory download mode. when you connect USB JIG to your phone you will enter to that mode. here is the way that you can make your own JIG:

hi, i am having a serious issue with my GT-S5700. i had multiple CWM versions. while i was trying to restore cwm 6.0.x but i restored hybrid one. after that i rebooted the phone but it didn't turn on. i tried every possible solutions on the forum but none seem to work. can't get to download mode nor recovery mode. it doesn't turn on. help me please.

No download mode & recovery mode means you bricked your phone. Only one way to fix your phone & that also if you soft bricked your phone is USB jig. read all info from this thread http://www.xda-developers.com/android/need-a-samsung-usb-jig-build-your-own/

I came across same problems as mine with different phones and it is said that it can't be fixed with usb jig. I am looking for usb jig or 300k ohm registers to make my own jig. Are you sure usb jig fixes the problem?

USB jig is a way which will force the phone to boot into download mode. now you have to flash with a rom using odin. I will prefer stock rom now. Try it. Good luck....

i made the jig with two 150k resistors. but it doesn't work on the bricked one. With the rest handsets it works perfectly. Any other solutions except going to samsung service center? Need some answers from pros.

That is you have hard bricked your phone.
If you think you have made the JIG correctly and it is working in another devices i.e booting into download mode, then there has no another way, you have to visit samsung care. without recovery or download mode you cant repair a bricked phone at home. best of luck

if you are in warranty the you don't need to be worried
they will repair it for you
other then that you have no options left !!
i bricked my gt s7500 5 times and got new motherboard without any trouble
so you don't have to worry they will replace it easily

Its hard bricked only solution is a jtag repair
but it is quite costly
is u have a warranty then you may be saved
Problem fixed. I put it under my car tyres. Getting a new iPhone. Sick of droid.

Your phone is hard bricked you can go and put it in the garbage.

i just updated from ray os to pixel, after booting up and using for some time my device started acting wierdly and i restarted it,from that time my phone is not responding, and cant even go to the download mode, its in a dead state

aah, you should have installed stock before moving to pixel...
Are you sure you tried everything? Could you send a video of what happens when you power it on? Also, does it accept charge when you connect it to the charger?

i tried to boot it up at every possible way but it wont ,it accepts charging also ,i got to know that when i put my phone with the power bank, when i try to turn on it wont respond,it doesnt even vibrate also , so i tried to put it to edl mode and it worked and it got connected to my pc by qualcom driver

That's great! You should be able to force flash the stock firmware through this mode.
