My PDA2K had the same problems as everyone else did the bluetooth error kept turning up and asking for a soft rest.
Bluetooth activesync and TomTom worked fine the the headset was crap it did sort of work but not as it should.
I did the upgrade rom from the Imate site, But now the Activesync and TomTom work as befor, but the headset (jabra 250 and 250v) pair ok but fail at the end of the set up proces.
Dose anyone know a way to fix this
Thanks
John
Am i the only one with this problem? or after rom upgrade dose everyones PDA2k work fine with no Bluetooth problems, and the headset working properley
Thanks John
aside from the annoying constant connection, I've got it paired to a sony HB-35 and working with no major problems.
As for annoying, what happens is that the phone establishes a bluetooth connection to my HB-35 but never releases it unless I disconnect or power the HB-35 off. Other than that, when it is connected, it seems to work ok... have not used it all that much since i use the PDA2k to play my mp3's.. so I've been using the corded headset.. Tend to use the bluetooth only when I need it for gps navigation .
HI,
i still dont know if the audio skipping with AD2P headsets is a hardware issue or an OS issue.
The problem is that i can not use AD2P and SPP (Serial Port Profile) at the same time. The SPP works fine but it starts skipping the audio.
I get this when i try to use my headsets and the GPS at the same time.
I wonder if this happend because the Wizard has a 1.2 BT stack and not a 2.0.
Anyone using hermes has this problem?
Did someone try using other BT stack?
i think it has more to do with the radio..
i noticed some AD2P headsets do not conform to the rulez set to it.
as wizard has 1.1 bt stack it probably wont work well with 2.0 devices allthough it should.. this u'll see most in the bandwith usage.. device made
for usb2.0 use more and wont do well if this bandwith exceeds that of an 1.1 or 1.2 BT stack
might try this ext gps router in wm6 .. its in settings>connections>ext gps
and route it to a com port not used
I searched around a bit on the forums and saw a few threads semi-related to this, but no answers. Thought this might need a dedicated thread.
I've been using my G-tab connected to a Bluetooth GPS (Both an external GPS mouse, and through my DroidX using ShareGPS) and it works great for navigation.
I can use WiFi tether to the Droid for Data, but as you probably know WiFi and Bluetooth don't play well together. If I get a call while tethering, my bluetooth headset is very scratchy due to the WiFi Interference.
I would like to tether the G-Tab and DroidX via bluetooth for DUN/Data, but can't quite figure out how.
Anyone done this?
Thanks,
-Z
Would be possible plug in gps Dongle or SD CARD based GPS module into ZPAD T8?
Thanks!
I am using a stand alone Bluetooth GPS receiver and BlueGps on my GTab, I have also use my Phone's Gps tethering to my GTab. The problem with using your phone is when you receive a call and are using a Bluetooth headset, they do not play nice with each other. both worked fine on stock and CM7.
Could you post the bluegps settings that you use. The type/model of the gps you are using
I have a Holux m1200 bluetooth gps and have been pulling my hair out trying to get it to work.
What I'm looking for is a custom ROM that will let my Infuse 4g connect to a Wiimote so I can use it for emulators. I've tried CM7.2, and it allows the connection, but the bluetooth connections to headphones and speakers is completely awful. I use bluetooth all the time so this doesn't work. I've also tried Zeus and R3velation too, and the bluetooth works fine, but they can't connect a Wiimote. I read somewhere that it has something to do with the bluetooth stack, but I honestly don't know what that means.
Does anybody know of a custom ROM that has working bluetooth audio and the proper stack to allow Wiimote connection?
Of course it needs to be stable and have the basic functionalities.
Thanks for any help!
I am sorry to say that our phones biggest weakness seem to be the bluetooth as I wanated to do this also and it did not work. I even brought a small bluetooth keyboard to try to do the same thing and I could not get it to work.
