How to cheat in GTA3 Android. Here is how you do it.
You must be on your WiFi and also have a PC connected to same network. Then what you do is download app from market called WiFi Keyboard and enter cheats via PC to your phone.
Step-by-step:
1) Download WiFi Keyboard from market
2) Install
3) Go to Settings -> Locale and text 4) Tick WiFiKeyboard (press OK on attention message)
5) Touch Select input method
6) Select WiFiKeyboard
In your notification bar, you will notice an URL address. When you open notification bar and see this URL, go type it in your PC browser. Use Chrome or FireFox recommended.
7) Enter the URL from notification bar into your PC browser
8) WiFi Keyboard page opens
9) Run the game on your phone
10) When in game, type cheats in input window on your PC (maybe press enter after done)
11) Watch "cheat activated" on your phone, done!
*note: you can also use wifi keyboard for example to type other text in your phone, like sms, email, etc..
**note: to set back your input method, go to settings -> locale and text, then select your desired input method.
Hope this helps, enjoy cheating

Am i doing something Wrong?
I followed these instructions and i got Wifi Keyboard working very quickly (for emails, text messages etc...) however it will not activate the Cheats in GTA III for Android... I am using a Motorola Bionic and just downloaded this game yesterday. In addition to this method, i also tried game keyboard and could not get any cheats to work either. The one i tried most was "gunsgunsguns".. i tried hitting "enter", and not hitting "enter"... am i supposed to type anything else? i've really tried everything. I'm almost thinking i downloaded an updated version of the game that disabled cheats... any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hey all I've spent the better part of 2 weeks finding a way to watch tv shows and movies from www.icefilms.info. With some help and messing around I thought I would post this for anyone trying to do the same thing. There are 2 ways to do this, both pretty easy. Now I have flashed my g tablet and using tnt lite 3.0 (only neccessary if you want to have both media players that I recommend below. Once comes with the update to at least tnt lit 2.2 and the other is just an app you can get no matter what you have)
First way of doing this
1) Go to www.icefilms.info
2) Select the movie or tv show you want to see
3) Click on one of the sources you want to download from
4) Your going to get 2 blue boxes and above it, it will read Choose a streaming script. If you look below the the boxes you will see a third option that says Proceed to http://www.megaupload.com click on that
5) Look to the right of the screen you will see 2 options. Premium download and underneath it you will see a timer counting down from 45 for the regular download. If your a Premium member you can download right away. If your a free member (like myself) you will have to wait 45 seconds before you can download the file
6) Click on the Premium or Regular download button (whichever membership you have)
7) You should now see in your Ongoing Tasks the file downloading. Once it gets to 100% you can click on it in your Ongoing Tasks and it will play in your Gallery app. Enjoy!!!!!!!! (if you don't click on Ongoing Tasks right away and the indicator that something has finished downloading disappears, don't worry just go click on your Gallery app and click on downloads and select the file you just downloaded)
OR
The Second way of doing it is very similar to the first, but you download a multimedia player.
1) Download yxplayer. You can just google it. You can install the free version, which keeps a small advertising box at the bottom of the screen or I believe you can purchase it for 9.99 with no advertisements
Once it gets to 100% go open up yxplayer (click on trial if you downloaded the free version and are trying it out, if you bought it put in the key code you get when you bought it)
8) Now click on Files, sdcard, and then download
9) Select the movie or tv show you just downloaded and enjoy!!!
I decided to show you both ways cause I recommend having both. Sometimes one app (Gallery and/or yxplayer) plays the movie better than the other.
Hello all,
I need a Little assistance getting a Wii mote hooked up to my G tablet for gaming with emulators. I got the program from the market that uses blue-tooth to hook up to the Gtab. It does hook up but i cant get it to work in the emulator. I try to map the buttons which it does but it wont work on the actual game. Anyone know the settings I am supposed to use within the wii mote program and the emulator? I would really appreciate any help.
Thanks, Rob
I'm to much of a newbie here to post links, but this should be easy to figure out...

I use simplewiicontroller.
Open the app hit the connect wii controlled button...you should get a message to sync it (make sure blue tooth is on) by pressing both buttons at the same time. Now hit the use simple wii controller another box will pop up select it again....loan up your emu app of choice then map the buttons. Works for me have fun. When you are done playing open the app back up an select android keyboard or tapntap keyboard. Otherwise you wont have a keyboard.

I know emulators like snesdroid have an additional option in settings to enable Bluetooth control that needs to be set even after mapping keys.

Thanks! That streamlined my seach for the right app and the propper steps. On my phone the on screan keys are perfect distance appart, on the Gtab its a different story. Playing anything faster paced than final fantasy tactics advance was difficult. This makes playing games a dream.
For my kids iPods, we have MobileMe which we use for locating it. Now with my new Transformer, is there something similar? Specifically, some sort of theft recovery program where I can log online and find out via GPS where the device is?
yeah i was wondering the same, as well as a security app. but i guess honeycomb is still Wifi only (mostly) and devs are more interested in an GSM/CDMA tablet compatible. plus, GPS by it self sucks, i tried to use for navigation, no luck

Dd you have it turned on. GPS on my TF works fine for navigation. Get GPS info app and look at the raw data. Remember it is a GPS (Satellite rcvr) and needs to have a relatively clear view of the sky.
Maybe not exactly what you're looking for....
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.lookout&feature=search_result
Why not try Prey - preyproject dot com - it's free for the first 3 devices it's linked to with an account. It's also open source too and is multi-platform so it's more flexible (ie you can have it on your laptop as well). I use this on my Nexus One and will try it out on the Transformer once I get mine in the next few days.
I'd like to second the "Lookout" suggestion.
Not only can you locate your tablet...you can lock it down (or even wipe it clean) remotely...if you find it's gone.
It won't let me download/install Lookout onto the Transformer. Says "Your device is not compatible with this item". huh???
Ah... didn't see that (I only have it installed on my Galaxy S)! Sorry!
This sucks. PreyProject won't install on the Transformer either! Hmmmm...
see my next post...it's possible according to Lookout Support.
From the Lookout web support:
The reason why you're having trouble finding Lookout in the market for Honeycomb Tabs is due to the fact that the they don't support SMS messages.
We rely on SMS messages to initiate a connection to a device in the event it's lost, stolen, etc. Without the ability to receive SMS messages the missing device features would be greatly hindered, however, device based backups and malware protection would work normally.
Until we release a version that's more compatible with the Honeycomb tabs you can install it using this alternate method:
The first thing you'll want to do is enable the installation of non-market applications. To do this:
Go to settings > application > and check the box next to "Unknown Sources." Go ahead and disregard the warning (by clicking OK), we can uncheck it later.
Next, back out of Settings and open up the web browser.
In the address bar delete everything that's there and type this in (minus quotes): "m.getjar.com" and hit enter.
Now click on "Android" under "Or, Choose your platform." This will bring you to another page where you will see a search box in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
Tap the search box, to insert the cursor, and type "Lookout" and tap "go". The search will produce one result, which is "Lookout"
Tap on the link "Lookout Mobile Security with Antivirus".
You will now be on another page that displays a grey "Download" box. Go ahead and tap on it.
The Tablet will show that it's beginning to download the file and you'll see the progress, of the download, in the notification bar.
Tap on the download icon (it looks like a downward facing arrow pointing at a line) and a small window will populate above with the word "lookout-production-signed-aligned.apk" Go ahead and tap on that.
A window that says "Package Installer" pops up. From here you can read the permissions that Lookout requires. Go ahead and tap "Install".
Your installation will start. Tap "Open" once the installation has finished to open Lookout.
Finish setting up Lookout as you normally would!
Still doesn't let me download. It gets me to download and install the GetJar app but then just takes me back to the webpage.
Can someone just post the apk?
Thanks.
here you go
Thanks! Installed and working!
Edit - Maybe not. When I got to mylookout.com and try to locate the device, it asks for a mobile number. Since this is a WIFI device only, I entered in my cell number instead and it fails to locate it. But I guess this app is good for antivirus use.
Now back to the search....
Yes...they said until they get it fully understood for HC use...it would be hindered...
Okay, if the device is on, then it works. It'll scream and locate. But that's not really good if you've misplaced it and it's not activated. I hope they figure something out soon for HC.
It will also allow you go to go your account online and pick it out on a map via GPS.
I found this specifically for tablets and it works as needed.

thanks! that looks like the ticket..
I have an acer Iconia with Honeycomb, I was wondering if there was a way to improve the performance of the facebook games, they are unplayable , the one I mostly tested it on is Ravenwood fair. I know its not a hardware problem because it actually plays other games that arent facebook apps pretty well.

It must be detecting the browser as a mobile app. Try the following. Intructions are for the default web browser.
1.Download and install Flash 10.1 from market (skip if already installed)
2.Open your browser, go to facebook.
3.type into the browser about:debug and press go. The browser will go right back to the same screen you were on previously and it appears that nothing happens.
4.Press your menu button(bottom left physical button)
5.Press "MORE"
6.Scroll down to "Settings"
7.Scroll all the way down to the bottom where you see "UA STRING"
8Choose "Desktop" This will "trick" websites into thinking you are logging in from a PC computer and not a Droid.
9.Hit back until you are on the facebook page again.
10. Refresh your browser and launch Farmville!!!
After completing the above steps you should be able to get the regular settings manager for flash. Enjoy!
Enjoy
ua string is desktop, the regular manager flashes up for a second and then it goes back to mobile.
since i never could get the regular settings manager to stay up. I brought it up on my computer, I do not see a mx offline cache setting.

Requirements:
1. Galaxy S Advance(Or any other Android device).
2. Root access.
3. PC running windows.
4. Dualshock 3(Sixaxis) controller.
5. MiniUSB-to-USB cable. Included with Playstation 3.
6. Sixaxis Compatibility Checker from Google Play
7. Sixaxis Controller from Google Play
8. SixaxisPairTool
Step-by-Step Tutorial:
1. Open Sixaxis Compatibility Checker.
2. You'll get a message, press OK.
3. Now press Start. The app will ask for Superuser permissions, Grant them.
3*. If your device is supported, you will get a message telling you that "Your device appears to be supported."
4a. If you did not get that message, you are probably feeling like a looser. It doesn't matter now. Just close this tab and go read another thread. Just don't create a new thread asking why it is not supported. Don't.
4b. Otherwise, if you got that message, Congratulations!!!(*fireworks, kisses, Facebook updates, Happy New Years and such*) Your device is supported. Just press OK, then Stop, and finally close this app. You can also uninstall it, it's no longer usable to you. You may now continue to step 5.
*Get your arse on your Windows PC*
5. Install the SixaxisPairTool. It is said that you better have connected your Controller connected to your PC while installing this software. It's not required though.
6. You'll get some windows open that are going to install the Microsoft Visual Studio 2010. Follow the steps and finish the installation.
6'*. If you got an error while installing the MVS 2010, it is possible that you have a newer version installed. Just click Close.
6**. It is likely you will get the same error twice because the app is trying to install the 64bit version of MVS 2010. Just click Close.
7. Once the installation is over. Click the Windows Start button. And do a search for "SixaxisPairTool". Or you can just go to the installation folder to find the app. By default the directory of the folder is "C:\Program Files (x86)\SixaxisPairTool" for 64bit Windows and "C:\Program Files\SixaxisPairTool" for 32bit. Do not start the application yet.
8. OK, now start the application as Admin(Right click on the app>Run as Administrator) and press Yes on the administrator pop-up.
9. The app will open.
10. Connect your Controller now. If you had it already connected don't do it again. It will just be funny.
10*. The application will Install the drivers for your controller. Once it's done, you will see something like this(*image below):
11. Leave this window open and get your Android device on your hands.
12. Open the Sixaxis Controller application that you previously got from Play Store(or from anywhere else).
12*. You will get a message telling you to enable the Sixaxis Controller in Language & Keyboard settings, press Yes and go enable it. Now get back on the app.
13. Click Start.
13*. The application will ask for Root permissions, Grant them.
14. You will get a "Local Bluetooth Adress" at the bottom of the application. Mine is 22:12:3C:837:65 so I'll use this.
15. Now get on your computer.
16. On the Sixaxis Pair Tool application. You will see an empty box. On this box write the Local Bluetooth Adress that is shown on the Sixaxis Controller app on your Android.
17. Once you are done writing click Update. You will see that the Master Adress it's updated to what you have wrote, specifically, it's updated to what the app on your Android show up.
18. Now unplug the controller from your PC and throw the cable to your bed or couch, you won't need this anymore.
19. Press the PS button on your controller and get to your Android to see what happens.
20. Congrats, your Dualshock 3 is now connected to your Android device.
21. Now you can configure it in it's IME settings.
Notes:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1800342 This thread must be useful. It contains configurations for this app.
I hope you like this tutorial. I tried to make it as simple as I can right now. I will probably update it to make it clearer.
Feel free to post your comments and thoughts as well as configurations, compatible games etc.
If you felt offensive by something that I wrote. You can tell me to change it.
And something last. if you find a mistake while reading this guide, please tell me so I can fix it. Or if you have any ideas on how to make it better, I will appreciate your effort for telling me.
How to load Profiles/Configurations and Play:
Copy any profile you want to your phones internal storage. I suggest that you create a folder in which you will store all of your profiles that you want to load.
Open the Sixaxis Controller app.
Press the applications Start button.
Connect your controller.
Open the menu and press Preferences.
Now press Touch Emulation, and then Edit Touch Profiles.
Open the menu by either the Menu Button on your device or by Douple tapping the screen.
Select Load. Now Import and browse to that folder you created earlier and choose the profile you want to load and then press Cancel on the window.
Press back button and you will get a notification. Press OK and get back to the application's main screen.
Press Change IME and select Sixaxis Controller.
Now choose the Active Touch Profile for the game that you want to play from the list below the Pair Controller button. You should be able to see the profile you previously loaded.
Now get on the Game, and enjoy it.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
Touch you way through the game's main menu. For example: If you want to play SAS: Zombie Assault 3. While on main menus, use your fingers. Once the actually game starts where you spawn and zombies are coming, then this is the part where profiles will work as they are configured for this, the gameplay, not the menus.
Once you have finished playing, get back to the app and Change IME to the keyboard you are using like Samsung keyboard.
Before using a profile from another device, you should first configure it. This is only if you get a profile from another device, the profiles that you will find on this thread are probably well configured for the Galaxy S Advance.
To configure a profile follow the steps below:
Open the Sixaxis Controller app.
Open the menu and press Preferences.
Now press Touch Emulation, and then Edit Touch Profiles.
Open the menu by either the Menu Button on your device or by Douple tapping the screen.
Select Load. Now Import and browse to the profile you want to load.
Now, you are free to Add Buttons, and change the position of already existed.
To help you edit a profile easier, you can take a screenshot while in game by pressing Home+Power buttons simultaneously for 2-3 seconds. Then get back on the Edit Touch Profiles and change the background to the screenshot you just took. If the background is false turned, open the menu and press Edit Background to rotate it.
Once finished, open the menu and press Save Profile.
Preconfigured profiles for the Samsung Galaxy S Advance:
SAS: Zombie Assault 3 - Post #2 - Koulis2000 LOL
N.O.V.A 3 - Post #5 - KINGbabasula
If you guys configure any other profile you can just post it here and let me know, so I can add it to the list here.
Funny, you can also conect it tou you computer and play games

Connect controller back to ps3?
Is it possible to use a sixaxis controller that has been used with this app on a ps3 again?
Do I need to write down the Bluetooth address of the controller before I change it so I can change it back? Or do I simply reconnect it to my ps3 and push the PS button to pair it back to the PlayStation?
Thanks!
