Marketplace issues HTC inspire - HTC Inspire 4G

I have cyanogenmod 7 latest version installed on my HTC inspire and having trouble with alot of the marketplace android apps. Says my device is not compatable. Some of the apps are Facebook and any of the office apps as well. Does this have anything to do with the Roman I installed? Any suggestions?

Is probably the dpi of your device. Had that issue before. Use Root Explorer and go to System - edit Build.prop to a DPI of 240. If its set to less it'll give that error.

android market place
I tried that already. Still not working.

After you change the dpi back to 240
Did you reboot and clear market cache.

Lcd density issues

Okay,
So I'm using rom toolbox to change my lcd density (changed it to 200), everything looks great, but there's one small problem, my home screen is way smaller now and fixed to the top left corner of my screen. I figured this is just what happens when you do this, but I just saw a screenshot of a person's skyrocket on 200ppi and his screen fit. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

I'm using LauncherPro launcher on Skyrocketeer with faux123's kernel and changing LCD density with Rom toolbox hasn't presented that issue with me. Anything solution more technical than changing your launcher or rom is outside my experience level thus far. Best of luck...

You'll need to use a different launcher
Hmm... Wonder why that happens. Haven't tried a different launcher tho. I'm running skyICS and faux's OC kernel, i really like the ui and everything that launcher pro probably couldn't duplicate, oh well. I'll just put up with 240ppi for now

Sense homescreen is pixelated/broken

Anyone seen this before? It's only sense, everything else is fine.
I've also had a lot of random reboots last Friday :S

Have you tried:
Menu > Settings > Apps > All Applications > HTC Sense (1.4x mb) > Delete/Remove data (gegevens wissen voor ons)
(missed second post, this could be of no help)
Maybe it just has bad reception....did you try adjusting the antenna?
(Sorry I know I'm not being helpful. Unless someone needed to smile...then you're welcome!)
I had this problem before when I play the game paradise island... I get this when I lvl up and that small animation makes my screen like that... I just uninstall that game... Just reboot your phone and it will be fine... maybe one of your app is doing it

It was the game air control. Thanks for the tip!

What is this app and how to remove

Hello all,
I noticed in my app list in the market this application that I didn't install. As you can see in the screen shot it doesn't have install option. Also I can't find it in my application list under settings or in titanium backup or root uninstaller
Anyone have any clue about it?
thanks in advance

Have you installed any games or other apps recently that have ads !! It could be malware from that.
Maybe uninstall apps one by one and see if it goes.

You are not alone, read the reviews. I would email the developer. A link is on the App page.
I reckon its a conflict with the stock gingerbread keyboard that's included in your Rom. It looks like the same keyboard, and it's telling the market that its installed.
I wouldn't worry.
Cheers
it's the japanese (or whatever that is) keyboard that comes preinstalled on Samsung devices. Someone uploaded that app to the market.
You can't uninstall because it's a system app.
Thanks a lot guys

Does all also get the app to crash (w/o error message) when trying to see private messages...?

I'm guessing this is a dpi/screen size issue. Our screens are more of a 16:9 view (not sure if that's exact, just saying it seems that way). Personally, that's one of the only things I don't like about the phone. I miss the wider screen on my HD2, same as the Desire HD. Maybe that has something to do with it? Try playing with DPI settings, or use Spare Parts and check/uncheck compatibility mode, that used to fix screen app screen issues on the HD2. It doesn't bother me that much so I'm not gonna mess with it too much, but you can :highfive:

Apps aren't compatible?

Why is it that alot of apps I'm looking for aren't compatible with the nexus? Like reddedit is fun and wallbase? Is it time for an upgrade just to keep up to date with market apps? Haha

Reddit works for me.
Did you change your LCD Density(DPI)?
Could be two reasons: You are using a dpi other than 240. Clear the PlayStore data and set it back to 240. Or flash a stock rom.
Or you are using gingerbread and trying to install ICS+ only app.
