Lcd density issues - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket SGH-I727

Okay,
So I'm using rom toolbox to change my lcd density (changed it to 200), everything looks great, but there's one small problem, my home screen is way smaller now and fixed to the top left corner of my screen. I figured this is just what happens when you do this, but I just saw a screenshot of a person's skyrocket on 200ppi and his screen fit. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

I'm using LauncherPro launcher on Skyrocketeer with faux123's kernel and changing LCD density with Rom toolbox hasn't presented that issue with me. Anything solution more technical than changing your launcher or rom is outside my experience level thus far. Best of luck...

You'll need to use a different launcher

Hmm... Wonder why that happens. Haven't tried a different launcher tho. I'm running skyICS and faux's OC kernel, i really like the ui and everything that launcher pro probably couldn't duplicate, oh well. I'll just put up with 240ppi for now

This is working on JB's build also. I love the samsung weather widget.
I saw the addon thread in the morning, and I was wondering whether this work on Infuse or not.
Thanks OP, for confirming it works on Infuse.

I'm guessing this is a dpi/screen size issue. Our screens are more of a 16:9 view (not sure if that's exact, just saying it seems that way). Personally, that's one of the only things I don't like about the phone. I miss the wider screen on my HD2, same as the Desire HD. Maybe that has something to do with it? Try playing with DPI settings, or use Spare Parts and check/uncheck compatibility mode, that used to fix screen app screen issues on the HD2. It doesn't bother me that much so I'm not gonna mess with it too much, but you can :highfive:

Apps aren't compatible?

Why is it that alot of apps I'm looking for aren't compatible with the nexus? Like reddedit is fun and wallbase? Is it time for an upgrade just to keep up to date with market apps? Haha

Reddit works for me.
Did you change your LCD Density(DPI)?
Could be two reasons: You are using a dpi other than 240. Clear the PlayStore data and set it back to 240. Or flash a stock rom.
Or you are using gingerbread and trying to install ICS+ only app.

[LWP] SunBeam

This is the live wallpaper pulled from the Google Editions of the One/S4. Basically its just a red version of the PhaseBeam lwp. You can try to install as a normal .apk (didn't work for me), otherwise push to system/app, set permissions (rw-r--r--) and reboot.
As always, use at your own risk.
Enjoy.

Looks like the screenshot I posted isn't working, I'll fix it later today.
Wallpaper doesn't appear to be very popular... Maybe everyone already has it, idk. Just thought I'd share.

It's been posted all over the place, maybe anyone who liked it already grabbed it. Anyway, I installed it yesterday, but I had major lag on screen unlock, so I changed it to a static image again. It never animated very smoothly on my phone at any rate.
Works fine for me the only lag I get is from this tap talk beta but i think its their fault.
