I think u are that person who post stupid threads again & again related to ICS.
Your phone is hard bricked. Just go to samsung centre & tell them a fake reason. Anyway this incidence will teach u a lesson that dont do hurry in work about which u have half knowledge.
Hey there is a hard reset button for I9003 !! Open the back case of ur phone and check between THE CAMERA LENS and SPEAKER.. there is a small button (It is really very small). All that you have to do is take a pin and keep that button pressed while using the download mode combo. You will need two people for this. Once your phone enters download mode flash with a stock firmware. I flashed with XXKPE and it worked for me ( I had bricked mine after flashing XXKPH over Cranium ROM 2.2)...

Okay ... This is my first post and I feel awful that my first post has to be filled with bad news .
I had ditched my Nokia E71 for something else . My dad urged me to go for a HTC Desire but I was interested in something with a larger screen . My eyes fell on a Samsung fit GT-S5670 .... I decided to buy it and was happy with it for a while .
I was tinkering with it for a while . I had no problem with rooting Froyo 2.2.1 and later on upgrading to 2.3.4 via ODIN .
But still I wanted clockworkmod ( since my brother has it on his Optimus one) and today I clicked the flash CWM in ROM MANAGER and foolishly selected the DELL STREAK option , After a few second I got a screen telling me that CWM was successfully flashed . In an unthinking frenzy I switched off my device and held Vol up + Home buttons for the CWM to show up .. but nothing happened . I tried booting up but no dice . I tried Vol up + power +home ... but nothing happened. The phone just gave me a blank stare.
Is there any hope ?
Should I use it as a paperweight now?

I brick that your phone did not brick what you did to it, so in bricking return it will not power brick up again... brick.

If you can go into download mode, flash stock firmware with 3 files (repartition).
If not... I can't help you (only me!)
And beware if you fix this or get a new phone, using rom manager(or apps on phone) for flashing anything is not a very good idea.

I have a damaged bootloader with no recovery or download mode . How in the hell will I be able to flash with ODIN?

I am sorry but I didn't get a thing of what you have written?
Take it to Samsung service and tell them that you dont know what happened. May be they have a way to help you without really finding out what happened. I have an sgs2 and remember reading that some sort of a modified usb jig (with a resistor of a certain value connected can bring the phone into recovery ).

A JIG consisting of a 300kOhm soldered to a male USB connector if memory serves . I agree that Samsung guys can revive my phone but I can't afford my dad to find out .
Looks like you have your self a nice brick. Sorry to hear about that but you shouldn't mess with the phone if you didn't pay for it.

as far as I know, flashing a bad recovery image just means your recovery is broken.. as long as you didn't flash an incorrect bootloader, you should be fine.
I could be wrong, but I'd be willing to bet that this is fixable.

I hope this fixable too . I just flashed the wrong recovery . I didn't even touch the bootloader .
I only reason I am fretting so much is because If my dad gets to know about this he will lose faith in my gadget-handling skills effectively cutting out any future chances of shiny new electronic toys .
So if you can help me do the battery pull effectively I will be most grateful .

yeah, i agree. That is the only time you can chance bricking your device and when you flashing or installing something, shutting off the device in midstream will brick it.
OP:
just take the battery out of the phone, wait ~5 seconds, replace the battery and power up NORMALLY (just press power, no special keys for bootloader or recovery).
if the phone boots normally, apply the correct recovery image via ROM manager (do it twice just to be extra extra safe)
if the flash is successful, try rebooting into recovery again and see what you get.
No dice Queen . No key combos or battery pull methods work , I am going to take it to the sammy guys to see if they have any tricks up their sleeves.

By choosing a different phone model ROM manager has flashed a dell streak recovery.img to the wrong partition. You kbt like mtdblk04 is system on some phones on some its not LOL. Throw your phone away... Punch yourself in the eye... Tell dad u got mugged... Commit insurance fraud... You sir have a brick

Wow , that is the best idea anyone has ever given me , you sir are a genius of sorts .
But I do have a sense of self-preservation and cannot hit myself to get a scratch let alone a black eye .

Samsung guys are just Jo blows who can manage to sell enough deals to stay employed. What have u tried to do? Can u get fastboot up? How about recovery? What's it do when u boot it? What screen do u end up on? If u get into fastboot or recovery it should be ok. If u can't get either one then your kinda burnt man I'm sorry to say. Your file attend are messed up the only way to fix them is with a line of communication to your device. Ie fastboot/recovery.

I can't boot into the recovery console via the 3-button hold method nor can I get into the android shovelling triangle screen . My device doesn't boot up either.
Will a USB JIG work??

Wow another one. These threads are poping up everywhere. You may have bricked your phone. You can only flash skyrocket, and tmobile gs2 roms on this device. Or you will break it. You need to try geting into download mode, and odin the stock tar. Go here for instructions

Jig
Order a jig for a couple of bucks from ebay(or find a friend that has one). Once you get the jig plug it in and you will be put in download mode, then flash back to stock. Or try the button method, open ODIN, hold down on Vol +&- at the same time then hold down the power button, so now all three are depressed. While all three are held in, plug in your usb cable. I hope you get it fixed.
Hey all, the problem started wen i cf-rooted the ****ing value pack.. First the computer cudnt access the phone via usb... then the soft keys were not working.. luckily i had aokp in my sd card & made it through... didnt get the soft keys working but d foe was useable..
i then tried to flash a clean version of firmware via odin..
my device can access the download mode but doesnt get partitioned by pit file via odin.. its kinda stuck out there.. . And now d fone is not detected by d computer..

If you still can use the download mode, it means there are still some chance of installing firmwares.
NO. First of all. Are you referring to XXLE4? The main reasons why the soft keys are not working were you FORGOT to wipe data and dalvik cache after flashing/rooting it. Though sometimes it does work even w/out wiping, but this is the only way to fix it hence, its a hardware problem (no, no, really no.) About no partition just first flash XXKPE with latona.pit
tried everything normal.. i cnt flash anything.. the pit file wnt partition the fone.. its just stuck ther...
You can't even partition? That's kinda weird. BTW you should have used mobile odin pro to flash and get root via there, I flashed xwlf2 using mobile odin pro and injected root, working great now. Anyway can you access recovery?

If nothing is working then try resetting by using the reset button between the camera and speakers, this method is used to fix soft bricked phones.
You might need two people for this, while you are pressing that button hold down the combination for download mode give this a few tries it might help...please try this at your own risk.

Dont worry if your phone is out of warranty, Samsung service centre will reflash your phone with the latest firmware. I managed to brick my phone couple of weeks back. It costs Rs 170, so no issues. Just tell them you installed something frm internet. It should be fine.

Umm Nop it's not the screen of death.I got the same screen once.Just flash KPE with pit file > DDLF2 and it should work fine.

I don't remember it clearly. But just try entering download mode(I think you will get this screen anyway).
Then flash KPE through ODIN.The steps to flash KPE are provided in the development section.
Dont worry. It has happened to me too. I got my phone working within 2minutes. All i had to do was remove the battery,put it back and try entering download mode. If it doeant work try again... Im sure it will work.:thumbup:

It happened to me the first time I ever tried flashing thru Odin and I was so scared that I bricked my phone. But then I removed the battery, put it back and entered download mode. Phew! It worked.

try this
1)Open the back over
2)Check between the Camera Lens and the speaker
3) There is a hard reset button which is a small cavity
4) You will need two people for this.. Keep that cavity pressed with a pin
5) Keeping it pressed use the download mode combo- Volume down + Home + Power pressed.
6)Wait and try it a couple of times and your phone will enter download mode
7)Flash to a stock firmware (credits to Adi_Pat for this guide)

I was installing a new rom on my phone its the android revolution one and after i selected which apps i wanted it started installing. when it was done installing it crashed and the screen went black. Now I cant charge it, the computer dosent recognize it, cant turn it on, and cant enter download or recovery mode.The screen is completley black and i cant do anything to the phone. Did i brick it and if i did is there any way to fix it or is just sudden death?

Is the screen turning on?
If not remove the battery for 10-15 and try again...
If screen is turning on.. Search for unbrick tutorial via odin in ur device's thread! :thumbup:
If u can't turn phone on... Ur phone is probably hard bricked...

Confirm if it is Soft or Hard bricked. If the tutorial for unbricking a soft brick works you are back to normal and it was just soft. If not, it is hard bricked :crying: .... That means you cannot bring it in since the warranty was voided after root. First try recovery mode and install another rom... It might work.

If it is confirmed hard bricked
1. buy /borrow a usb jig (u can also make one) search xda.. There is a post with names of devs who can give usb jigs.. Search it
Usb jig forces ur phone into download mode.. Then use odin to install stock rom
2.use jtag repair...search on google..it's not good to fool samsung when mistake is yours!!

Or, if a jig doesn't work and you don't want to risk criminal charges for fraud, just have it JTAG repaired - many reviews on how fast and easy the process is and they don't care that you messed up the phone yourself.
Accountability is so cool. It's awesome not to try to screw people over because you made a mistake.
