I am running DroidXcon's EE4 rooted w/ CWM voodoo lagfix recovery. It has worked great for many months. Had to replace phone and flashed to same ROM and it has been working. I have lost my root. Superuser won't get past the gaining root phase of installation, Titanium can't gain root access.
I still have CWM
Is there a zip file/kernel I can install via CWM to re-gain root? Or will I have to wipe the phone to stock and re-flash the ROM?
Just flash the kernel found here. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1104634
And download superuser to regain root.

I followed the guide on General forum to flash ICS 4.0.3 stock but my ROM Manager Premium isn't working properly.
Flash ClockworkMod, Reboot into Recovery works fine. It seems like everything else works too........
BUT Fix Permission. When I try to run it, it says 'An error occured while attemping to run privileged commands!'
Titanium Back Pro has green check marks on everything including Root access.
SuperUser and other apps that needs root access seems to work fine.
I downloaded Root Checker Basic and it says that my Nexus S is rooted.
Voodoo OTA Rootkeeper has all check marked as well.
Fix permission works fine on CWM recovery and I see CWM recovery when I reboot in recovery, not stock recovery.
Could anyone help me out with this problem... Thank you!
Just tried and same thing....not sure rom manager might need to be updated

Hopefully that is the cause of the problem. I will try contact the developer.
hello guys
I have a rooted lg p500 and it was bricked after cwm flash using rom manager app so I revived it using fastboot method. Hopefully I could fix it but after this superuser gives me no more root access prompt (I cheked that the automatic response is prompt) and now I can't use it as a rooted phone So can I root it again using xda one click root or unroot it and reroot it????
(before bricking it I updated superuser binaries and app)

I wont advice you to use the tool again.. try unrooting using this
One Click Root.
Then root it again using this guide.
HERE
I dont know whether you can root on your current ROM. If your ROM is not supported..
UNROOT your device.. wipe everything.. flash LG official ROMs ( 2.2.2 if you are on
old baseband or 2.3.3 if you are on new baseband ) then root it again using the guide ^.
Better use THIS.. if you are rooting GB.
Thx a lot but I fixed it I just entered adb commands agin and rebooted

I feel like I successfully rooted my Tab2 10.1 GT-P5113 using odin. I have cmw recovery and flashed root file with no errors. After rebooting I have
the "#" Superuser app. It says SU binary needs to be updated and when I try it says installation failed! Apps that require root tell me that it cannot
access root. Used root checker and it also says I don't have root. What am I missing?
The same issue happened to me, You need to install SUPERSU from the market in order to get root access! =)

Try to use after installation of supersu from market, app like root check basic (free) to check root

I just did that and I get the same thing. Used root checker to verify that I still do not have root. What else to check?
Reflash the root files. Find a supersu that lets you install itself by flashing in cwm. That way when its booted up its already got supersu installed and should work.
Plain old "superuser" worked for me, not supersu or #supersu. Its free in the play store.

I only rooted my phone twice so its still a little new to me.. can i install cwm through odin before i root then make a nandroid backup, then root using that rootdebugs method...."press 1 to root..." That method..thanks for the help..
Sent from gs3..
You can install it threw the market, but can't use it til your rooted,I advise against doing anything til your rooted then install cwm then make a backup.
