Looking for someone willing to test an interop unlock method for me . You will need to know how to make a backup in case anything goes wrong. This is basically a workaround similar to the one I did for the CDMA Trophy . I do not own an Arrive or have access to one. So my idea is purely speculation . I was told by someone in a pm that I have now lost contact with something that peaked my interest .
Again , if you do not know how to make a full backup of your device , I wouldn't volunteer. Anything involving trial and error with Connection Setup can easily result in 3g loss . But that shouldn't happen here. Just in case .

Should go without saying ,but you must be dev unlocked through Chevronlabs or Apphub. PM me if interested please .

Did you have any success yet? I was thinking about this the other day when the XAP files that enable other marketplaces was released that perhaps there might be a hackable back door through an app in another vendor's marketplace (e.g. the Samsung Diagnosis app). I did not try it out of fear of messing up my 3G data but hopefully someone more talented than I could give it a try.

Ok so thanks to inxane over at sdx developers us samsung intercept users have a stable custom kernal wich includes a stable root.im hoppin from place to place to see who is gonna start building roms for this thing?? ill be the guinea pig and test whatever anyone comes up with
Thinking along the same. Still waiting for a place we can talk in here on xda. Just sent an e-mail to the forum admin asking for the intercept section. You might want to do the same
I'm new to this site. Really don't know what I'm doing being as I'm usin the app on my phone so I don't whose the administrater. Sdx has done gotten a lot done with this phone but I figured more people could pitch in because inxane and littlejh over at sdx are about the only devs to put in any work on this phone(chibucks too). Just reply and let me know what the admin. Says

I got a message saying they will send it to the admin and have them consider it.
Ok that's good. It would be nice to let the intercept in. I mean the more devs work on it the bigger the phone will get. If they let us have our spot this phone will not go un-noticed

it would be awsome to have a place on xda to post. I've been a member here for a year and I just got this phone on virgin mobile (switched from my tilt2) and this phone is a nice little deal $25 a month unlimited data/text 300 min. should be getting upgraded to android 2.2 this is my favorite forum, I don't like the forum for samsung dev. hope we get a place here
dude, here http://forum.sdx-developers.com/intercept-development/ is a real good place. they have already gotten alot done and everybody is real polite and willing to help anyone out. i just want a spot here so more and more developing can happen
I just got my LG OPTIMUS ONE P500 stolen a 3days ago, I am so pissed right now, but hey what can I do... I live in mysore, so no warranty and no police claim will get it back for me...
I never kept my gps enabled unless I was using it so no tracking software will be able to track my phone, I already blocked my number with my carrier so I guess there is not much I can do to track it.
at present i m trying to install plan b & android lost to track my mobile.
is der any other way to get back my stolen phone
please help me guys....
Thanks,
Nope. I was going to suggest AndroidLost but you've already tried that. Now, just pray that they work. Good luck, kano.
Consider this a learning experience and install tracking software on your next Android, or this one if you find it. I suggest AndroidLost.
if you have the phone imei it's simple for a carrier to track the phone, sadly this can be done only by police request !

Love Tyn!
help !!! need help finding my mobile
2day i lodged a complaint in police station, bt those people r saying it is impossible to find the mobile now a days as der is development of softwares which can change the mobile imei number.
is dat true or they just bluffing ?
It's true but this can be done by higly skilled people. So, depends on who stole your phone, if it is an ordinary person it is highly unlikely it has changed the imei, if it is a phone technician (or if the phone was given to him) then may have already changed the imei, but who knows? Surely if you had been the son of a minister, the police would be really committed to find the phone, I'm sorry not to be able to help more
thanks bro for replying.....
Willing to start a community bounty to bring RT to the Lumia phones. I want to see if can be done. I would love to see it done well. I would need a light if someone keeps the ability to make calls over GSM /CDMA. Heh.

Hi guys,
I was developing an application over the summer, using the Nexus 4, as part of a workshop designed for school kids. The university is looking at purchasing a bunch of phones to run the workshop on and suggested the Nexus 5 to me as a replacement for the Nexus 4, which I've been told they can't get anymore.
I'd really appreciate it if I could send my APK to somebody and they could let me know a "yep, works!" or a "nope, broken". I think it should work as the Snapdragon 800 claims to support the Snapdragon SDK Facial Processing... but I would obviously like to confirm this before giving the ok to spend a whole bunch of money. It should literally take a few seconds after the APK has been installed.
No worries if not. I wouldn't be all to comfortable installing APKs from an untrusted source either, but I figured it to be worth a shot as I don't presently know anybody with the device to ask!
Cheers,
Jordan
Yeah ill test it for you. Just pm me the link, and BTW I'm on omnirom and running faux kernel

I'm trying to find any developers currently working on rooting the c6740n. I'm willing to test out any ideas or theories they have come up with but might lack the phone to do so with. I'm beyond the point of caring about this phone please help us. I could care less if we brick it at least I'd get a new phone out of it. Thanks in advance
