Flip Cover case

Does it worth 35 bucks price to buy this case? I like my device to stay clean and not planning to put screen protector if I carefully use it with this case I believe.
But just wondering if it worths 35 bucks? Indeed it looks nice, and I am also wondering, will the screen light up (like this moving hand on front side for small light on screen to appear for showing calls and received messages etc) if I open the case?

Not worth it I think. It does light up when you open the case but it's something you can turn off in the Settings. I got the Samsung Case which I
think is pretty tackie considering the price of the things. I would recommend a Bumper case to be honest.
Also what case are you on about?

Right now I don't have any case or screen protector. I am planning to order that Flip Cover case.
Which Samsung case do you use, and can you recommend any Bumper case?

If you're not planning to use a screen protector, then the S View or Flip Cover are by far the most flip cases available. They're much thinner than other flip cases, because they replace the rear cover instead of sitting on top of it. The S View's magnet also does the open/wake and close/lock functionality, as well as showing notifications in its plastic window. As well as everything else, they also let you customise the look of the phone in many more colours than just black or white

S View is a bit expensive for me, plus i don't think it's really useful (IMHO), I have screen pin code because of my email settings, so I won't be really able to use preview window.
There is tooo many options (some fancy cases, colorful silicon ones, or some super secure bumper cases) but I just liked the super simple flip cover case

Probably counterfeit S-View review

This is the review I left for an S-View case my wife bought for me from Amazon.

I'll start by saying, if this orange S-View case is actually made by Samsung, it is the worst quality item I have seen from an OEM.
Now I'll tell you why I think it's counterfeit.
First of all, my wife bought this for me from LiViTech, but the same listing seller is now called "Fasty".

If you compare the images on this ad, they look just the ones from Samsung's site, but what you get doesn't look like the pictures.
Earlier this evening I went down to the local cellular store and compared this case with a real Samsung S-View case.
The materials this is made out of is obviously different.
The color is much lighter than the OEM.
The texture of the cover is different.
The OEM cover is a more uniform shape and size.
The logo on the front of the OEM model is raised, it may be silk screen printed or something; this one is laser printed, you can very clearly see the horizontal lines burned in and it has no raised areas. The logos are also different colors, this one is grey, the OEM is white.
On the back, the battery cover is not the right size, it's very hard to get on. Mine is just barely too small.
The SAMSUNG logo on the back of this one is slightly raised, could be some kind of paint, it looks like; the OEM model looks applied in a similar fashion to the front logo.
The texture of the battery cover is slightly different, and it's color is also lighter than the OEM.
The ridge over the speaker grill is hardly raised at all, where the OEM ridge is just as pronounced as the ridge on the cover that comes on the phone.
The type of plastic on this one is different, you can see the outline of the battery, SIM card and SD Card through it while it is on the phone.
The way the front and back covers attach together is very similar, but the OEM one has obvious quality control.
The soft spot, to serve what purpose I am not sure, under the battery cover on the OEM is filled with a material like that of the front; this one has a paper sticker in it.
The hinge where the front attaches to the rear looks the same, but this one is poorly assembled so part of it was glued as crooked as the seller. This helps the battery cover not snap on properly. It's also almost as hard to get off as it was to get on.
Additionally, the box the case comes in is missing most of the certification logos found on the back of the OEM box. This one only has the recycle logo.
You can certainly tell they tried very hard to get it close, but it's still far from exact.
It was $19.99 when I bought it, now $15.99. I'd say it's worth maybe $9.99.
If you like this design, and can't bring yourself to spend the $60 for an authentic S-View from a reputable source, it's not bad, but it's not real good either.

Was going to purchase from amazon at first but reviews were so hit and miss. Figured it would be easier to buy a few cases under 10 bucks and take a risk.

White Nexus 5 bezel

Hey guys, I just saw an unboxing video of white N5 and the bezel to my eyes look shiny

Yes, unfortunately the black and white have different sides and backplates, the black seems to be a more traditional softtouch material like on the black One X while the white seems to be a more polycarbonate type material, the sides of the white also seem to be a Galaxy S type plastic, the white looks nicer to me from the back atleast, but the Black one is slightly more nice to hold, both have good build quality though! Hope this helped (Btw, im in the UK, we've had it since the launch, you can go in and pick one up from the local phone shop

Thanks a lot...I'm a bit unsatisfied with the design they used in the white version but it doesn't matter to much, I plan to use a case. And just for the record I did manage to order from Play Store the white model and also bought a SPIGEN ULTRA HYBRID case on Amazon. Can't wait for it

Same set up with Spigen screen protector for $8.58 from amazon. Can't wait.

I was going to get the black one but cpw messed up my reservation so ended up with white and have to say I'm actually quite pleased they did. The gloss sides give the effect of the glass and edge all being one solid piece and the back doesn't instantly become covered in slimey fingerprints as the black one they had on display appears to do. The different material should also avoid it looking dirty very quickly and a quick wipe with a baby wipe should be all it needs remove any grime that does eventually build up.
Think I'll be staying commando.

[Q] Untextured Back Replacement

Perhaps an odd request, but I'm not the biggest fan of the faux leather backing of the Note 4. Are there any 3rd party back replacements that are plain and untextured? I looked on AliExpress and found some crappy-looking aluminum textured back replacements, but I'm going for a minimalist look. If not, I suppose I could always just get a plain white vinyl skin and place it on top, but I figured I'd check to see if the replacement back exists first.

I think the vinyl is best because it's prob cheaper or dame price and you don't run the risk of damaging your back plate tab grooves with a third party cover. Just my 2 cents. Have a black matte vinyl coming.

Looking for the back bottom bar cover. Bought one but it's super cheap

I replaced the battery but scuffed up the rear bottom bar and messed up the tape. I bought one from aliexpress but when I received it, it was pure matte black, not the somewhat shiny dark gray the original one is. Has anyone found one that's very similar to the stock piece?

Bought my replacement complete housing from this company and they are brand new oem and sell the parts you want..
