either drain the battery then delete the batterystats.bin file in /system/ then reboot and charge or charge it completely, delete that file, reboot, then charge some more. 2 or 3 cycles of this will help it make it more accurate.

Thats odd that you seem to already have the modaco recovery running because of the little man in the background so my question is if you are already in modaco recovery why are you trying to reflash over it?
I'm trying to install a different ROM. That's the same screen I get everytime I enter the recovery mode and I don't know why :-( Any ideas???
Sent from my myTouch_4G_Slide using xda premium
You are sure its a full rom and not a update?
Also are you using install zip using sd card and not apply update ?
Your screen says installing update.. from what I see it looks one ofthose two things

I got that once. Just turn it off and boot back into recovery. The little man is normal.

I tried installing a full rom and nothing. Now I can't even get into recovery mode anymore. Should I just factory reset my phone and then just re-root and start that whole process over again??? Cause I'm at my wits end:-(

Need Some HELP ASAP PLEASE..

Ok had a Sidekick 4G rooted and custom rom installed and I sold it to a friend. Well they took it to a T-Mobile store and the guy factory reset it (for what reason idk) and she told me the phone would come back on.. I tried entering CWM recovery and was able to but the phone stays stuck on the boot screen everytime I try to reboot it and the only way to turn it off is to do a battery pull..
Can anyone help me fix this problem like asap please? Thanks for any and all help..

Nexus 5 frequent"Can't connect to camera" error

I am running stock rooted 4.4.2 and it seems that after the phone has been on for a few hours the camera will suddenly stop working. A reboot fixed the error but it can be annoying when you need to take a picture. Any thoughts on the issue or possible fixes? Thanks in advance.

As per I know its a known bug and many users are affected by it, I think it happens because some app is using ur camera in the background.
Try to restart ur phone in safe mode and see.
To start ur phone in safe mode get to the power menu and then long press the power off and then ok.
Is your camera working right now?

I think that is why qcamera-deamon is not on the battery stats also your battery stats have resettled.
when next time this occurs, try at that time.

Same issue. Looks like it's affecting a lot of users with various ROMs randomly and Google says they've been working on a fix.

[Q] Possible battery drain after root?

Hi
Is it possible my phone drains a lot more power after being rooted? It's been plugged out one hour now and already at 84% after barely 40 minutes of SOT.
Not sure if it's the root or not, but rooted it yesterday night and my battery was 'fine' before.
Might just be because I was a Xperia Z3 owner before and the battery life on that one was insane.

Boot into recovery and wipe your cache twice. Should fix it.
It mostly is not root.

Yeah I couldnt get deep sleep either...but i moved on and flashed twrp (using odin)
Then followed others guidance and used flashify to reflash stock recovery and then flashify again to flash twrp.
Deep sleeping absolutely fine now.
