Hello,
I apologize in advance for the translation, I have a problem with my Sonny Ericson Xperia X8. Phone calls to me alone after 10-15 seconds will automatically terminate. SMS messages do not want to send, sometimes it goes for about 6 attempts. But even after the phone to original settings using Sonny Ericsson PC Companion, the phone will behave similarly. When the phone re-install the new ROM, if everything works right after leaving the CWM take out the memory card. When she put me immediately it begins to terminate calls. After taking out the memory card will not change even after rebooting the phone and even after WIPE. Probably the error somewhere else than in the SOFTWARE phone, I have to record a new KERNEL prove them and so I would not recognize the claim.
You do not have a compatible KERNEL someone please?
If so can you please upload somewhere? (including the loader please)
Thank you in advance thank you.

I have a weird problem which i'm experiencing often (not always but once or twice daily). While on a phone call for a good length of time my phone will spontaneously restart. before this spontaneous restart the phone call goes on speaker for 6-8 seconds. during this time I can hear the voice on the other side through speaker, but the person on the other side can't hear me. then i see the "Xperia" startup logo & the phone restarts. its not like a regular restart. during a regular restart the "Sony" logo appears first, then the "Xperia" logo.
my phone's specs are:
Xperia J, JellyBean, everything stock, never rooted.
you can try repair phone feature in pc companian.

you're right!! i found it!!! but before starting repair i want to ask you 2 questions:
1. does repair wipe all data on a phone?
2. how much megabytes it downloads during the process? (its showing 30 mins) but i have a slow internet connection.
it does take a while. yes it will reset your phone back up your apps first
problem still persists

then maybe is your phone hardware problem?
take it to service center,or try to root your phone and use CUSTOM rom.
Try to do settings - clear all. Before you do root it, you should send it first the service. Use the warranty instead. Tell them you did use pc companion and update service.

Hi,
I have an xperia tipo and want to activate device encryption on it. Since the stock rom did not seem to support this functionality, I have flashed CM10 (FXP238) which offers this function in the "seucrity" settings.
Then I have assigned a PIN, charged the battery, plugged in the power adapter and clicked "encrypt phone". A message then displays "the device will boot several times, it will take more than an hour, data will be lost if power fails and so on ...". After continuing, the green android icon is displayed, but nothing else happens. Even after hours nothing has changed. By clicking on the "menu"-key, the green android icon can be deactivated and I get back to the regular android. But no encryption has taken place ..
I already own some other cell phones, for which I was able to activate encryption. Thus in general I know how this procedure works. But I cannot get it to work with the Tipo. Am I doing wrong? Has someone succeeded this operatoin with CM 10? Is there any different custom rom which supports this?
It would be great, if you could help me.

If it's a pin (in the sim card), I'm afraid I can't help you out. If it's a password you have on the device, just do the following:
Tap on "emergency call" and type*#*#7378723#*#*, so the service menu will come up. Note you may have to do it 4-5 times to come up, so be patient.
When the service menu finally comes up, go to "customization settings" and then tap "reset customization". Tap "yes" if it asks you for it, and the phone will reboot. After that, your personal settings (e.g. theme, wallpaper), as well as your password will be back to factory default settings (so passwords will be wiped). ALL your personal data (e.g. music, images, videos) will remain, as well as your contacts and similar stuff. Have fun.

This did not work, currently I do not have SIM card. Is it required to put the SIM card.
Secondly I see some blogs that this code will work with android jellybean and mine I have not upgraded, so it could be icecream sandwich

I've tried it on an i.c.s. powered xperia u and it worked properly. So if it does require to put a sim card and what I told you doesn't work it must be a sim lock. I recommend you to turn on the device, connect it to your computer and get everything you have in your phone to the computer. Then give your xperia j a flash via flashtool only (pc companion will upgrade your device to jelly bean with all locks remained, so you need a clean flash of a generic firmware).

Do you have a custom recovery (like CWM or TWRP)?
If you do, then I can help you unlock your device.

I have Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini ST15i...
LAST TIME i have recieved a notification "New Message Rejected, Memory full Please Delete some messages" then when i tried to delete some messages it force closes. When i tried to open other applications It FORCE CLOSES again. I used my Clean Master application to turn off open applications and delete some files. another problem when i delete some pictures it goes back to my gallery. After using clean master im able to delete the messages but There's still a notification "New Message Rejected, Memory full Please Delete some messages" so i decided to transfer my sim card to another phone. After transferring my sim card I tried to open my Xperia Mini the intro "sony ericsson" shows up and the logo, after that the phone will turn off. Then the intro will begin again "sony ericsson" and the logo it doesn't stop so i decided to remove the battery to make it stop. My phone is charging, it is turning on but only until the introduction.. that is my problem, help please.....
IT's been 3 months now! PC Companion is not a solution and I can't find any service provider of SONY here.. what should I do? HELP ME!!!
I have bought the Zz and tryed to get sms from my old Xperia SP: And just cannot make it work. It makes no difference wheather I use PIN in NFC, the result is the same.
So where do I go wrong:
XPERIA SP:
I downloaded an installed the app from Google play. The firmware on SP in the stock 4.3 Android. The only option that this phone gives me in of sending data wirelessly to another device. So just what I need. I click to the screen where it want to know whether I want to use PIN of NFC.
XPERIA Z5
I launch the "app" from the settings and click that the other device in an Xperia (or android, it makes no difference, the result is the same). I click that I want to receive data wirelessly from the other device i get to the screen where I have to choose PIN of NFC.
Let's say I go with PIN. Xperia Z5 offers me a PIN code and I enter it in Xperia SP. When connection is made, Xperia Z5 asks me to "accept" the other device (don't know what the proper word is, I do not use English on any of my devices). I accept of course. The xperia SP informs me that that is all I have to do on this device and that I should choose what I want to sync from he list on the other device. And that is the problem. Xperia Z5 never loads the list. I cannot select anything, it is just loading with the red circle going around endlesly. I left it for over 20 minutes ones, just to make sure I am not to impatient but to no avail. It's the same with NFC.
What am I doing wrong?
I had the same problem when I transferred data from my Z2.
The thing is, 20 minutes is not enough time. The process is very slow. I don't know how long it took for me. I just started the process before I went to bed and when I woke up, I had a list of applications I could transfer.
So just give it time.
Good luck
O dear, I didn't think, it would take that much time. I will give it another try.
I haven't tried those but i use the cloud which is extremely stable. Try uploading it to the cloud from your old phone and then download it from your new phone
I noticed in these screenshots that the cell signal is generally poor (yellow and red). It drains A LOT of battery when the phone has to compensate for the poor signal. Might be due to the phone/antenna though.
