i was trying to fix the download mode in my Samsung S1 I9003 and instead of uploading in Oddin the SBL for I9003 i uploaded the SBL for I9000 and my cell not turning on again so any help Please?

try flashing any 9003 rom.
but it shdnt work.
nxt up samsung service center. just tell them u were updating via kies and ur phone isnt booting ever since

See? You flashed it with a fw that you know will be bricking your phone. Then youll cry here for solutions. The only option is to go to a service center. But why bother? Make it your paperweight.

i tried to upgrade a I9003 with I9000 custom firmware, the upgrade was shown sucessful in ODIN, but I9003 didnt get restarted after that. i removed battery and tried switching it on. Nothing happend .

you are a fool why you have flashed I9000 firmware to I9003 device.
not the only option is service center

You have screwed up your Phones bootloader. You can not enter download mode now. May be you can try the JIG. But then its of no use explaining about such methods to new users who cant understand. Just take it to service and act like a noob, just tell them you saw there was update available in KIES and you updated the FW. But after that your Phone did not boot. Thats all...

OP- Tell Samsung people that the phone started to heat up and re-booted randomly and then suddenly stopped it's functioning. They will work on this issue. In Asia,speacially India, they are gonna take nearly a month and a half to get this thing done. THe service guys are pretty lazy. There is no option to speed up the process,unless,you have luck on your side or you know the service guy

Service center won't be able to detect your mistake as they can't revive it and find out what happened. Had you had a hardware failure while you were updating with Samsung Kies, service center might help you but if you were to tell them you updated with WRONG firmware they would not even repair it. *cough*

U might wanna wait for someone who knows better than me, I just started getting into this myself, but if you can get your phone into download mode you can use odin to flash stock rom. Otherwise its a hard brick and you'll have to pay for jtag fix.
Try taking ur battery out, holding volume up+down+power and plugging the usb to the computer, this should get your phone into download mode if its a soft brick.

Put up a link of where you found that rom. If it was a rom for a different phone, and you cant boot to CWM or DL mode, your phone is hard bricked and can only be fixed by jtag or sending to samsung for wanrranty replacement

You need to go to mobile tech videos. Website and contact them. Then ship the device to them. You bricked it. We dont have a working miui so i can only assume u flashed it from a different devices forum. In which case yes you are hard bricked.
Try to follow these directions to the TEE. Make sure you pull battery before trying download mode.
Download mode is a pain in my rear on the skyrocket because of the large volume rocker took me 3 tries.

which firmware did you flash???
If it is of any phone other than i9003 then your fone is hard bricked.
bad things happen when we dont read and are not very careful with the things we do
if its a hard brick
then its samsung service center you go

well if you are still under warranty, you have to find ways to reason out to samsung service center that it got bricked on its own.
but if no warranty or avoid the risk of paying a very high price on samsung service center... look for shops that does unbricking with JTAG ... search about it on the internet

If ur phone is under warranty, then just go to a SC and say that u updated over Kies coz it said that there was a software update available,
it got updated worked fine the previous night and the next day when u woke up, it just wouldn't turn on.. They might argue that it was ur fault that u used Kies.. Then u tell them that Kies came with the phone and nowhere does it say that updating over Kies shouldn't be done, n why the heck do u provide it then.. Then they should switch ur motherboard and done... Hopefully..
Otherwise be prepared to shell out INR 8000 approx...

hi this is my fisrt tread and just to said i do over 7hours rechearch for unbricked my samsung from rogers sgh i997r so is the point i try to overclock my infuse and do a kernel change with odin (dont have cwm) i try defuse kernel and now stock with samsung logo and just have the download mode can i reflash the stock kernel and if i dont find any valid link for stock rogers kernel gingerbread 2.3.3 just give me a solution lol my wife gona kill me!!!! ps: i think at&t kernel are not compatible with rogers maybe its the reason wy im brick? tanks you in advance

Ok, I have found the stock rooted package within the thread that has dead links, someone mirrored it, thx goodness...but give me a few and I will pass the mirror and it does work I just downloaded it...

Try removing battery then after 5 mins put it back then enter download mode, reflash. Or you can press the button at the back of the phone bet camera and volume then enter download mode simultaneously

you can buy or make a small device that makes your phone go to download mode without touching anything on your mobile... you can find it on ebay or check on youtube how to fix one...USB JIG Method is called... look it up if you don't have a warranty it will save you a lot of money

It depends on what kind of brick you have. A hard brick (like a wiped bootloader or you flashed a rom not specific for your device) can only be saved by jtag. If it is a soft brick, i.e bootloop where your phone still lights up but just can't get to download mode etc then a jig will be fine. Tell us, did you flash an i9000 rom or firmware to your i9003?

they pretty much explain everything regarding a hard brick or a soft brick phone. so first we need to identify which category u fall under.so tell us what happened why did you bricked ur phone instead of asking where in mumbai...because whats happening is u keep on asking question but your not actually giving any details/information.
personally i dont know where u should go i dont live there. but i/we can give u tips if u tell us what happend first
