Regular s2 or s2 skyrocket?
If its a regular s2 and you flashed files from these forums that would be bad.

To me it seems like you flash a rom that is meant for regular s2 on the skyrocket which is also bad.

okay brother how can i fix this problem
U might wanna wait for someone who knows better than me, I just started getting into this myself, but if you can get your phone into download mode you can use odin to flash stock rom. Otherwise its a hard brick and you'll have to pay for jtag fix.
Try taking ur battery out, holding volume up+down+power and plugging the usb to the computer, this should get your phone into download mode if its a soft brick.
then use this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=21011261&postcount=5
id doesn't went to download mode
what i most do???
You should wait for someone else to reply, that knows more than me. But as far as my limited knowledge goes you hard bricked it and you can either try to return it for warranty repair or http://mobiletechvideos.mybigcommerce.com/samsung-galaxy-s-ii-skyrocket-brick-repair/
okay how can i fix whith out sended to them

Put up a link of where you found that rom. If it was a rom for a different phone, and you cant boot to CWM or DL mode, your phone is hard bricked and can only be fixed by jtag or sending to samsung for wanrranty replacement
okay how will do the jtag for me in uae because im arabian and i buy samsung from outside.
You need to go to mobile tech videos. Website and contact them. Then ship the device to them. You bricked it. We dont have a working miui so i can only assume u flashed it from a different devices forum. In which case yes you are hard bricked.
Try to follow these directions to the TEE. Make sure you pull battery before trying download mode.
Download mode is a pain in my rear on the skyrocket because of the large volume rocker took me 3 tries.
Hope this helps you let me know.

Rebooted phone. MF Bricked.
Bought a usb jig, took about two weeks to arrive, followed the jig instructions, still cant get the phone to turn on.
Used a multimeter to check battery voltage, it's reading 3.665v, should be enough?
Any ideas? Besides having Rogers send it back to Samsung and wait 3 weeks, do I have any other options? Cheers.... ...
Nope but where did you get that rom is is a 727 or 989 rom

You flashed a ROM from a different phone. Its toasted.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using Tapatalk 2
Yup u need jtag. Service. And also need to only flash i727 or t989 roms
*rubs eyes* f..I thought it said SG2...oh man...
What'll happen if Samsung gets ahold of it? Will they just send it back and say sol?
Sgs2 skyrocket very different then sgs2
rogers dont send your phone to samsung and make you wait 3 weeks, they send you a refurbished GS2 and a return box to put your broken phone and return it back to them. I've do this many times over the past 5 years ive been with them and they never made me wait for any repair
Man, I feel sorry for you. . However, it is not like it is "fried" or anything. A "repair" service is needed to reload the firmware etc.
EDIT: Yeah, try what polish_pat says. TELL THEM YOU TRIED AN OTA SOFTWARE UPDATE, and then the phone just died.
BUT, where the heck did you get the ROM from. Seriously, how could you even THINK of flashing something you had no clue about.
With all respect man, this is a thread all newbies should read. Even when I myself flash ANYTHING I am so tense, even after reading till I get a headache.
Contact adam outler on the forums here. Search for user "Adam Outler". PM him. He will ask you t mail your phone. He is a king in repairs. He has all kinds of hardware tools, and he won't gyp you with exorbitant prices.
Good luck !!
I thought I727r and I9100 were the same thing...argh..
I'll try rogers then on Tuesday and update.
If someone can someone point me to a good rom for I727r so I can get adhoc going when I get my phone back I'd really appreciate it, I really need wifi and adhoc is my only option where I'm located.
Got the rom from galaxys2root.com, didn't realize it wssnt for I727R.

Who said Odin didn't work on the i727r? There's even a stock tar file for the i727r. Never heard that before, Sorry bruh but if the phone won't kick into download mode then she's toast

Odin with i727r
Actually what I read here was:
"NOTE: Rogers users double check to make sure each thread you are reading is compatible with your S2 LTE (I727R) before taking action! As a general tip, the ICS leak Odin TAR files are incompatible with the Rogers S2 LTE."
Not the same thing as Odin not working on Rogers' phones.
I was trying to return my phone to stock using odin. I was using the konane tar and instead of pushing PDA I pushed PIT and hit start. After it was done flashing my samsung skyrocket turned off will not turn on at all and when i connect it to my computer it is not recognized by odin at all. It is only recognized by my computer as QHUSB_DLOAD but nothing else. Can someone please help me or direct me to the right person. Thank you

Umm I don't know what carrier your with or if you are still in your warranty time frame or have mobile phone insurance? But when I first started flashing phones I bricked a captivate after having it for only a couple of months so I called att and told them I was updating the phone using kies mini as directed and the power blinked and screwed the phone up. So they never questioned me they just sent me a new captivate.. I was lucky cause that was about the time the froyo update came out so they never questioned me just said that's happened to a lot of people. So with gingerbread updates rolling out tell them you were updating and the phone cut off and won't come back on. Its worth a try. I know a lot on here that has done it...

On ebay you can find a usb dongle that force your phone in download mode.. it's about 1or 2 $$.
Never uswd with s3 but with s1 and s2 was perfect.

It won't work for his problem. His phone doesn't have download mode anymore. The international ROM overwrites that part. JTAG is the only option.

Simple...its called flashing without doing proper research. You would be amazed what people assume.
I accidentally flashed a GSM ROM on my phone once. I was able to get it into download mode. I had to use Odin to get back onto stock and start all over. Good luck.

I'm not telling you are wrong, but have you tried?
I had my phone in a similar situation with not download mode via "buttons" and nothing to do except sending..
I tried and it worked.
Dongle works by hardware and not software..
But, anyway I would spend 2$ instead of 60 to try..
My2cents..

It depends which gsm ROM if it's like a T-Mobile ROM I think it's savable, but international and it's done. There's a huge difference between the two.

No I've always read what I'm flashing so no need, but the download mode partition is overwritten by the ROM so there's nothing for the dongle to force him into. Also, this problem of people flashing the wrong ROM pops up all the time. The last guy I helped bought the single, wasted a week and when it didn't work sent his phone in.

Hello friends, a friend hand me a messed up locked AT&T Skyrocket flashed with the GT-I9100 Firmware for unlocked reasons.
Did not go well because some keys are not working, and else..

Baseband I9100xxlq6
Kernel 3.0.15-I9100xwlpo-cl913058
Build number IMM76D.XWLPO
Im trying to get it back to stock, to get everything working well. I tried installing CWM with Odin and got FAIL message.
Any recommendations on how to do it?

read the sticky in my sig on returning to stock, read the whole op, espicially the troubleshooting sections.
if it doesnt work you would need a jtag repair, link in the 1stop sticky in my sig

Im not the responsible for doing that, my friend gave it to me like that, and Im trying to fix this.. I think they used a JTag computer or something. Im also impressed it boot. I have read a lot, but Odin doesnt seem to work. Im trying from CWM now.. Will i need to install new bootloaders or ill be fine with stock modem/kernel and FW?
Are you sure you're talking about a Skyrocket?
It sounds like you got an I777 in your hands, and Skyrocket is I727. Only I777 would even boot if flashed with I9100 build, Skyrocket would die. Triple-check it before you hard-brick the phone.
I agree with you.
OP
on the back battery cover is it smooth or is it textured.
Both will say galaxy s11
all of the above is true, you are lucky if it booted most people have HARD bricked from installing that

It's really easy, if you find that you need features you can only use when rooted/on a custom rom then go ahead.
If you don't find yourself thinking "that custom feature would be of some real use now" then there's no reason to "go back to the ROOTIN wagon"..
Finally, some friendly advice , if you intend to start modding your phone please read the goddamn instructions this time around. :highfive:
I've had 3 samungs and 1 sony, and never once did I not read the bloody instrufuctions, and you know what?
