[Q] Stock Hboot - HTC Sensation

I'm trying to get back to stock hboot on my sensation so I can send it in for warranty. I tried running the stock 1.45 ruu and it didn't change. I tried running the 1.29 ruu and then running the OTA update and that didn't work either. Can someone just provide the stock hboot so I can flash that please?
-The method I used to unlock was unlocking through htc and then rooting through revolutionary.io

[Q] S-OFF on HBOOT 1.20

Is there an S-OFF available for HBOOT 1.20? Saw "locked" after flashing 1.20 and S-ONed phone. Finally unlocked using htcdev but nothing I found could help me downgrade HBOOT and do S-OFF again. Do not have SuperCID atm.
there is a thread on this your still rooted even though it says s on
Yeah, I am still rooted and can get into recovery and flash ROMs. But I am having issues with signal and I cannot flash anything because 1.20 does not support fastboot commands. I would like to downgrade but cannot. I tried flashing the customized p85img.zip with my CID T-MOB010 and it would just return to menu w/o any messages.
Make sure it's p85img in the file name.
Don't INSERT .zip at the end. It should automatically be a .zip file.
The file is named correctly.
There is a thread here ima try and find it were you can revert back to hboot 1.17.0000

i m facinf d same problm wit my sensation with bootloader unlocked thro htc dev. i m unable 2 flash any radios. Even i m unable to flash any custom firmware also. I need ur help if u found any solution.
either downgrade your hboot to 1.17 or update to ics 3.24 which has hboot 1.27 (unlocked) and you will have advance fastboot commands
Same exact problem here, semi-bricked my phone before I went over to Htcdev.... attempting to flash a p85img for HBOOT 1.17 or any p85img does nothing but parse it. Searched all day today couldn't find a thing to help...Others have suggested just waiting until Revolution comes out with an Unlock for 1.20 but I'm determined to find a solution for us.

Is there a way to restore back to stock H-boot without RUU

Hey.
I'd like to restore to stock hboot for my tmous sensation.
All this fuss is because i'm on htc-dev hboot 1.18 - s-on unlocked, and i cannot change my firmware to 3.24 in order to install ICS.
I've tried the stock Ruu method (1.27.531.2, 1.29.531.2 etc') but it's stuck on error 155 .
I don't know what else to do.
If you are sure to have the correct RUU for your sensation you can trie to start once again the RUU exe while your phone is connected in fastbootmod to pc.
My Sensation had dust under the display, so I wanted to go back to Original. But when I started the RUU, I had the same error 155.
But this helped me!
I've tried all the possible RUUs from TMOUS but nothing seem to install.
It didn't work when i tried to install from the hboot ether.
What else could you guys suggest ?

[Q] Is it possible to get S-OFF on HBoot 1.23?

Hello Geeks.
I have recently misled myself by getting my phone back from s-off to s-on before installing the stock RUU on my Sensation XE.
However, i have managed to unbrick the phone and i have a custom ROM running on it while there is S-ON right now.
I was running ICS which means i upgraded the HBOOT from 1.18 to 1.23 and revolutionary does not support this HBOOT version yet.
I want to know if there is a possible way of downgrading the HBOOT version to 1.18 or 1.17 with the S-ON because i cant get S-OFF until its downgraded to something revolutionary supports.
OR
Is there a compatible RUU update utility that will flash my device back to stock and restore everything?
Thanks.
Not until:
1. Revolutionary becomes compatible, or;
2. The ICS RUU is officially leaked, therefore becoming a 'proper' HBOOT in a warranty sense

I'm still writing the guide... trying to make it noob friendly. it includes suicide bricking and downgrading...
detailed guide soon to be here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=23078349 stay tuned
Ah, so you have to brick the phone first to downgrade it? Seems a bit severe but at least it's a method.
Surely if someone was silly enough to S-ON with a new HBOOT they will more than likely properly brick their phone??

HBoot 1.23 S-OFF back to Stock & S-ON

Hey,
i need so send in my Sensation due to various problems (dust under screen, cracking cover etc.)
I'm on Hboot 1.23 S-OFF and a beta version of arhd ics....
Now my question is : when i flash an official rom according to [Guide] to Installing S-off, Unlocking, ClockWork, Root, SuperCID & S-on, will my HBoot version also change ? (1.17 for gb or 1.27 for ICS)
or do i manually have to change the hboot version beforehand ? thanks for your help

Hi,
When you flash an original RUU,it will restore the original ROM,radio, recovery, and firmware.
Just make sure you flash the one appropriate to your region and carrier.
You will still need to restore your CID (if you are SuperCID)
Worked flawlessly, it is back to original state now and on its way to maintenance, thanks a lot for your information

Hi,
Look HERE

need help

hey guys. one problem.. i want to go back to stock ROM. i am supercid and s-off so i understood that i can use any RUU, but i downloaded one and failed because it says get the correct ROM update utility. i locked the bootloader too.
i have maximus hd atm , so which RUU should i use?
Hboot 2.16
Radio 1.20
supercid
s-off
Did you run the ruu while your phone was in fastboot mode? Otherwise the downgrade won't work.
Edit: As you already said, it doesn't matter which ruu you take since your phone is S-OFF. If you try to run an ICS ruu be sure not to install OTAs if you're on superCID or you're going to brick your phone.
