i have looked everywhere but i cannot find the htc trace keyboard without the arrows! can anyone help me please? i just want the big keys and the trace as well =(

I'm not sure if this has been discussed or solved before... Anyway, I've tried searching and I couldn't find any guide on how to remove the arrows on our keyboard.
If you have done so, kindly post the guide on how to do this...

i like the arrows(incase of mistakes or wanting to add something somwhere) but if it would free up some space to have bigger keys that wouldnt be to bad
I would actually like this as well if somehow the keys were to get larger or more spaced out.

i hate the htc sens / keyboard even with sens.cab...
i have tried every other keyboard beside of swype - no german.cab... -
and all are even worse than the htc keyboard.
I am bilingual so swype does not work for me...
I come from HTC Hero where I used the wonderfull Touchpal from Cootech.
This keyboard is not compatible with N1 (I beleive because of a screen resolution)...
Does anyone knows if there is a way to bypass this problem and make this work on N1 ?
Alternativly, T9 Trace seems very good (also not as good if you ask me).
Does anyone knows where to get this app or where to download the .apk file ?

I want to change the keyboard characters on my android 1.5 device.
I haven't done any experience with software development on android yet.
The keyboard should finally look like the one from HTC
but the letters and the symbols you can chose when you press "12#" should be swapped. This means for example: if you want to write a g you have to press "12#".
Can somebody please help me with this?

I need to be able to re-map the keys on the Bulgarian touch input keyboard. All the characters are in place, but the layout needs to be gently rearranged

Im using chacha as its prbly the only android with keyboard like a bb! Anyway- Ive rooted, deleted apps and made it workable at least for now- However one thing Ive been unable to do is generate typing sounds on the physical keyboard. All the androids have an option of sound for their onscreen keyboards so is there any way to do this for the Chacha keyboard? The physical one- not by adding a virtual one.
