hi guys
i installed wid Cm7 which was wrking fine on DEfy and i have backup for my froyo and CM7 aswell on my SD card. Now i was trying go in recovery mod then My screen is stuck on GOOGLE logo of CM , but still i can go on bootloader and recovery mod 3e. Not Clockwork Mod. whenever i start phone its come to the GOOGLE logo by CM n then stucks there. i tried to do wipe data n factory data, just took my chances if it could do miracle but didnt wrk either erroe comes.
I tried RSD Lite to flash back Stock Rom Froyo but seems like it cannot " show My device on it" b4 i try to flash. Even if i try to flash with RSD Lite its lands up to fail error. what shud i do any suggestion ? how can i make my device work again :| pls help or guide me out of this problem.

The Phone has ROM manager Installed ... I didnt tried copying CM7 into Phone and Install it using ROM Manager. bcz if the Boot menu doesnt works i fear that will break my phone when flashing the new os
Tried to Read as many as i can.. Bt cant find a solution .. Before attempting anythng i jst want to understand whats the problem ...

If the bootloader is locked, u will need to install fastboot drivers on windows and :
fastboot oem unlock
This way it will give u an opened up root and wipe data.
If its unlocked:
fastboot oem lock
^^^ this still wipes data
I didnt Understand cmpletely ,,, i Put on first Post what i saw in Bootloader Menu ,,

i've root my xperia mini but not unlock. i installed CWM and i installed custom rom like zelly cream (JB custom rom) and it works..
but i installed new custom rom in CWM, i wiped data, cache, dalvic, ... and i install the new rom after that i reboot it but it stuck in sony logo i think thers a problem with the rom i installed.. my problem is i wiped/formatted all and now it stuck on sony logo, i tried to repair it in PCC but it failed and always says no software update available for your device, and every time i connect it in pc it failed to connect and always say windows does not recognize it.. i cnt even flash my stock rom using flashtool :crying:
pls someone help me, i almost giving up :crying:

HY,your problem might not be the ROM,(i am pretty sure it is working) .If you are stucked into the bootscreen you are having a problem with boot.img file.If it is not FLASHED as it should,it might cause this problem(try do it again).YOU NEED TO WIPE DATA IN CWM ATLEAST 3 TIMES IN ORDER FOR IT TO WORK.Now the last problem can be fixed if you made a backup.just restore it.you can go to recovery by presing volume down and power at the same time for 10 seconds.IF you didnt made a backup try to find an ALL IN ONE toolkit FOR YOUR device and try to fix it from there.HOPE I HELPED YOU!

yes it helped,, but My problem is im stuck in sony logo and i cant enter to recovery its not working

We have almost the same problem bro. Yeah try that flashtool and flash your stock firmware that'll solve the problem just like mine!

hi,
i have a problem with my umi x2. i flashed new rom from cwm. did all clear /cache/dalvik...before install. instalaltion went fine. but when restarted phone stucked at umi logo. would reflaash the phone but vol+power combination dont work and there is no way i can acces cwm. tried with flash tools to flash some new rom but in flash tools progres bar stoped at red bar. doesent go to purple and yellow....is there any other way to acces cwm or something.

ok i manage to reflash with flash tool with another rom.
My stock rom was 4.0.4 . I rooted my phone and installed cwm . Then tried to install a new rom. I wiped my cache partition . Then at the time of installing new rom ,there occurred an error. That rom was for mt15i not for mt25i. Now my phone is stacked at boot logo. I've tried to flash it with factory default [.ftf] file . That flashtool say to disconnect my device ,press the back button & then connect usb. I also did that but nothing happened . It still stacks at SONY logo boot screen . I tried to enter recovery mode. It is also not working. Please help what can I do now?
guessing this means you didn't make any sort of backup before flashing the ROM

From what you've explained, seems your phone is running on stock recovery and not custom, that would explain the installation aborted error, else, you're flashing files either in the wrong format or improperly downloaded/copied
The solution is to flash the system.img from stock backup and your phone will be back up.

I flashed d stock rom by software called brcm multidownloader tool.....
when i was flashing percentage of completeion was there and at last it showed OK IN green colour.
And i tried installing CWM recovery.img to my mob...but there also installation aborted...... plzz help me bro....

if you flashed the stock ROM and flashing was successful, its only logical to say your phone should be in good condition now. am I missing something?

if i flash using ad package ...after 100% it gives installation aborted...

Do the following
Go to the recovery mode
Select advance and wipe dalvik cache
Return to main menu and wipe data factory reset
And wipe cache partition
That's it. Reboot phone

dude samething happened to me if its because of chainfire then do the following take ur battery out and at the time u insert go to recovery mode micromax recover - power+volume down then from there go to choose a install new zip that is it can be restored only if u have a backup or else try finding a image in google and this must work and if u dont have backup and only idea i can share is clear cache go to advanced clear dalvik cache and reboot ua phone and again take off battery while booting and restart :good:

Chainfire 3D only support Gingerbread or lower. Not for ics+, try to wipe cache and dalvik,if problem still exists, reflash ur rom
