Hey guys, I have a Galaxy s2...recently i rooted it and tried out a couple of roms too.....then i came across Chainfire 3D...i installed it and tried Riptide with the shaders installed but the game just does not respond! nor does any other Tegra or Adreno game it opens, the sceen stays blank for a while and then it comes back to the app drawer again help!
Galaxy S2 is not ment to play Tegra 2 games. Though with that rom, some work good and others dont. I can give you a link on how to play it on your phone another way though if you wish.

I recently seen some thread, but cant find it anymore, about LG Optimus 3D coming with 4 games (confirmed by myself) pluss extra 1-3 or more games what I can choose from store, but I can't find that store where to get these free ones :/

I have a developer phone which came with 4 games. There's a 3D games app or icon that comes with your phone which you click and it takes you to Gamelofts Optimus 3d game page. There's 5 games you can choose from there. And yes, you can play refrain games using Chainfire drivers. Search for the Chainfire 3D thread here on XDA then buy the application on the market.

do I have to root my Optimus 3D to allow use Chainfire 3D?
btw is it possible to get a same loader or whatever it's called, when you drag down window from your (time/battery etc etc) top corner of your screen, on HTC there you can see recent used apps/stuff, but on my LG I cant, it's only showing quick turn on/off for bluetooth,wifi etcetc and music player, can I somehow add a extra line with recently used apps?

You will need root access to install and use Chainfire 3D
You can press your home button long enough and it will show you the recent accessed/used apps.

googled chainfire 3d, is it new loader or its just support tool for 3d? if I dont have root access can I play tegra 2 games?
Yes, GTA 3 is available for Are Xperia Play, it seems it got added to the release list right at the last second, you can download is here https://market.android.com/details?id=com.rockstar.gta3.
Edit - There has been a few cases that version 1.1 will not boot correctly on the Xperia play so if you have it on your play dont update till it gets fixed.
Answer to most question's
- Was it in the list release? - Yes, it was added day 1.
- Does it support Xperia Controls - Yes
- Any Control Problems - All controls work fine most of the time but some controls can be strange and hard to figure out. Hopefully an update fixes this.
- How does the Game Play - the game runs good at almost all times, from time to time i do see some random slow down but 95% time it's fine
- Issues and Bugs - Draw Radius can mess up, Random slow down time to time, Control issues & Crashing with v1.1.
Some of the reviews say it works with Xperia Play controls. Wonder if touchpads are included?
It won't let me download it on my CM7 Rom. Haha. Any way around this and force it?

It works and performance isn't bad. It does slow down here and there and overall frame rate seems about the same or maybe slightly better than the original PS2 version.
I haven't played it for very long though and haven't really stressed it out much.
All controls work including touchpads but they are not optimised. you can't auto aim or lock onto an enemy so shooting/hitting someone can be tricky.
Also, it seems to use less battery than FPSE and FIFA12.
Majority of the Controls arent working for me , I have an R800i, for some reason when I hop into a car its stuck on turning left, but walking and running is grand. Dpad works on the slide out controls , no analog functionality and the only action button that works is O and that just takes me to the menu.
Other than that though game loads and works fine, the touch screen controls all work.

It's letting me download on my Xperia PLAY R800a... I'll tell ya how it works shortly (maybe even make a video)

Custom ROM? I am on CM7, and it's not letting me download it.
I miss this game.. I'll wait for TLR's video..
downloading on r800i rooted stock rom ill give my feedback when its done.
Well, thx doom for powering my device up to 1.6 ghz. Now it goes flawlessy. Fairly bad that there is no TP support. Okay tbh the right does something: i guess it switches to first person. Awkward though.

There's some lag spikes, adn some of the controls are broken, can't use the slider(analog) thing, for example I can't look right or left inside the car. Sometimes it won't react to anything.
IT WORKS!! (r800x stock verizon rom)
The game doesn't show up in the launcher, but it does use Xperia Play's controls. D-pad for movement and steering, the left touchpad changes radio stations or weapons, right trigger is sprint our accelerate, left trigger is jump our brake, triangle is e-brake, circle is enter/exit vehicle. Swiping across the screen is needed for camera control, where as the right touchpad does nothing (as far as I know).
Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any way of reassigning the hardware button configurations at this time, but it's useable. I hope that gets patched along with the lack of inclusion in the Play launcher.
The game runs great, even on my stock Verizon kernal and rom! It runs with very little slow down, and doesn't impact the game whatsoever. I imagine an overclocked Play would be buttery smooth, but this doesn't affect my enjoyment at all.
Just finished playing a couple of missions and it runs well. Some of the creature features that you may be used to like changing to the radio station of choice maybe missing. The analogs do not work but all the other buttons do. I would love to see this with full Xperia support but still playable up to this point.

I haven't used CM10, but if you can overclock try that first. Check my sig for a free app to do it.
You can overclock natively in CM10, it's in performance settings, no app needed.

I been playing RR3 on my modded stock rom tf101 and it didn't lag at all...ran perfect along with NFS most wanted...idk but seems to me that these roms y'all have seems to help smoothness and newness of your tf101 but if nothing is wrong then no need to fix or use different ROMs causing your tab to think differently and run harder...but that's just my opinion on this tab as I'm a heavy customizer on other phones...try the touch booster

Could be a vareity of things, like Build.prop, screen dpi, or market region.
Theres a real racing 3 config app on the play store that lets you choose graphics presets, lags on my tf300 too but if i put it on low-high preset it runs fine.

I downloaded the APK over on the Nexus 7 forum & that was a post at the beginning of the month. I don't know if there is an updated version or not. If there is I would like to try it. There is a MOD to the graphics setting to make the mirrors work. I did try it & the game was almost unplayable. I reverted back to the original setting. I am rooted but completely stock & the game is really smooth with the normal settings.

Can you post a screen shot of what it looks like running on the Play?
Of corse i can^^ But on which settings? On low high or medium?
I tested the game. I have an Xperia Play R800i with stock ROM, Gingerbread (?), no root, no overclock.
Game seems to run fine, at the beginning it defaults to 'High' settings.
It seems to be a first person shooter, but I really only tried the very beginning,just a few seconds to move my character (that is, a "pair of hands") around. The movement was kinda slow, but as I say it was just the start.
Shame it does not support hardware buttons, but maybe later?
As a side note, what kind of a stupid name is Dead Effect? Let's take two known franchises (Dead Space and Fear Effect) and mash them together, what do we get - a Dead Effect. LOL. But it might just be my impression, never mind that.
One more thing, there does not seem to be any other way how to exit the game, but only by pressing the HOME button on your device. Which, as far as I know, leaves the game running in the background. I hate when games do that.
Hey, just a few days back I have installed a Batman mod on my SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE EDGE SM-N915 provided by an XDA member Lonely Dhiraj. but now when I install NFS No Limits, the game just loads, the EA green logo appears and the game crashes back to home screen and nothing happens.. while before when my phone was not rooted and it had the stock firmware the game was working perfectly fine!
I tried to clean the cache and data of the game, uninstalled it and installed it several times but nothing happened! so PLEASE tell me what should I do as I really like this game and I was at a very high level in this game so I really want this game to be working fine on my mobile.
