it does not, no.
only works with the HTC Gold aka GSM version of the 7 Pro.
i already have two willing beta testers for intrinsic on the HTC GoldC.
so, once XSPL is available for the GoldC, intrinsic will soon follow.

Ok nice, but I had one problem: in one moment showed message about inerop lock - I could not install any new apps. I had to unistall one app and instal "Inerop unlock" app but only from that thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1354706

Now it's ok, I check more.

unfortunately, the MAC address changes aren't a ROM issue.
it is a problem with HTC's ISharing drivers for 1st Gen WP7 devices.
your device got relocked? what were you doing at the time of relock?

May be, but I haven't that problem on oficial ROM after update 7740 with InternetSharing (may be it's new driver).

if they are new drivers...
i don't have access to them unless a ROM is leaked with them, or
somebody captures the update url, then i could look into cooking them in.
hmm, weird. wonder if anybody else has had this issue.

xboxmod's *.cabs can be installed, as well as, OEM *.cabs, of course.

i'am testing the rom for one day now and all is fine. just the one failure that there was no hTc in the marketplace, i now added the "htc interop unlock" and now its there... i can use and update the htc app that i couldn't with the "stock" rom. i have a question about the themes, why are all status bars the oposite color, example black, and in advanceg config 1.5 the bar on top where is the signal, battery status and wifi icon is, is white, but the background of the app is black, that happens for other apps too, in the people hub for example or the messaging hub. is there something not right with the theme resource xaml files or???

1. Download Official RUS ROM From

2. Extract the RUSSIA ROM File to any folder.
3. Extract English ROM from above link and replace P526.pim file.
4. Edit P526.ini file, first line is your current ROM region code (WWE, RUS, THA, etc) and second line is Extend ROM region code (WWE, RUS, THA, etc).
5. Run P526FUU.exe and follow the instructions screen.
Finish within 10 minutes (I hope that)
This ROM is working well on my P526 WWE but.
Upgrade it with your own risk.

This ROM is NOT an official English rom. It was dumped from my P526 English (WWE) phone. Base ROM is from Hongkong but it is English enabled because of my dumped rom. You may see letters HK after ROM Version when done flashing.
Free RAM is regular around 21-22 MB.
I found some bugs in this ROM and trying to fix.
- Win. Live Messenger not start.
- Notes is not working because of new Windows Mobile Office.

I've installed your rom and this problem with Notes does not allow me to send SMS. Do you have a solution (i.e. an alternative sw that can substitute notes)?

Did you mean without Notes you can't send SMS? or you need text editor to edit text before sending with SMS?
You can find freeware, like Notes, utility here at www.freewareppc.com
or I will upload original Clean ROM that's Notes and Messenger works.

In practice, when I receive an SMS than I select it and decide to reply it opens the Notes application to write the SMS.
If you upload the clean version, it would be great.

Follow the intructions from somphon_r:
Edit P526.ini file,
first line is your current ROM region code (WWE, RUS, THA, etc)
and second line is Extend ROM region code (WWE, RUS, THA, etc).
I tested the english rom from somphon_r for a while and the phone works well with the exception of the GPS.
The Destinator does not find the GPS.
I scanned the COM ports with several utilities (Sirftech, gpsinfo, GPSGate, crux_view) but no GPS entries are found

I've updated my P526 to an WWE version (I've tried official Turkey's and Hungary's firmwares form ASUS ftp support directory: ftp://ftp.asus.com/pub/ASUS/IA/P526) and at the end of the installation, when Windows is booted, it installs some additional program(s) (I suppose that is for multilanguage support, in turkish version there are 3 programs and in hungarian version only one) and after that everything is in that local language (turkish or hungarian). If I remove the installed program(s), windows menus go back to english, but the Asus Launcher remains in local language (turkish or hungarian).
If somebody knows if it is possible to stop executing in some way the additional program(s) installing at the end of firmware updating?
Or how to change the menu's language of the Asus Launcher from local language to english?
If isn't so clear - my objective is to have a totally english version as newer as possible. Am I wrong?

After trying the turkish and the hungarian firmwares I've just installed the croatian version and there is everything in english!

Also, it seems that is a little bit faster than other versions I've tried before. If you haven't any running programs the free program memory is 25.84 MB in my P526. It looks very fine at the moment .

I always check the 'Phone Software Updates' section and it states 'Select your PDA phone or smartphone model from the list. If your registered product is not listed, please check back next time as new patches are added regularly.' but there is never a list.

The upgrade is only one app in this rom ... thats config the GPRS connection for your provider automatic ... thats all.
I can't download the rom from HTC member site because it doesn’t appear if you haven't registered your product, and I can’t registered it there because mine is not is not HTC-branded device, I have XPA v1415.

I already extracted the files inside the WWE to see what was inside, to update my custom rom and I noticed an new module in the OEMDRIVERS, called SIMBlock.exe. Anyone know what that might be ? I sure don't like its name

Hm yeah, but I don't think it matters, when your phone is unlocked or should it? I am trying to use it with the kitchen right now. I don't know if I'll flash tonight, because it takes a lot of time to reinstall all my apps and so on. But I'll report back!

I just finished uploading the new Radio from the ROM. I already installed it, but well, I can't tell the difference!

There is some customization for the USA T-Mobile SDA so some changes will be required in your button mappings. To set up your MMS and Data connections, go into Settings/Connections/GPRS and delete the TMO settings and add your own.
Known Bugs
Encryption menu option in Settings doesn't work, I don't know why.
Sim Manager menu option in Contacts is blank.
Camera brightness doesn't work - it's a common problem with Camera 4.00 on Tornado.
This is OS only, it will not change your IPL, SPL, flash, or radio.

No, you only need to do that if your phone has the original WM5.
Since you're at WM6, all you need to do is flash my ROM.

Certainly, I have added pics of the menus. It's not that different.
Ignore the screen cap program in the last pic, it won't be in the ROM.

Would not be the first time HTC updates the SPL and IPL with new security Methods.

It might just be that they added the new Lay Out and Download for nothing.
It might also be that it will be tied down to serials from a specific Region.
And they only made some sort of announcement to american market getting WM6.1 upgrades. But those are mostly Vogue's.
Why put up a new Download Button and not have any.

Might Frickin Be indeed, that they added the module to every device, but not have the downloads in database for the device.
I'm Not excluding that factor.
But at least it will be easier to find updates in the future when they finally arive

How to change keyboard layout from QWERTZ to QWERTY:
- HKCU\ControlPanel\Keybd\DefaultLayout -> change it 00000409
- HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Layouts\e001ffff\Keyboard Layout -> change to 00000409
- Reboot... you now have the latest and greatest wm6.1 english rom!

no, they are very much different. don't ever try, it will break your q8.

When i try to change with other software does not save the changes after reboot.
I have a Portuguese Motorola Q9h.
Someone can help me? With this firmware i have the "y" and "z" error...

dude, you need to scroll down towards the settings and try to like read the choices as if it is in english. you need to go to language settings and select us english or something like that then after reboot you are in for a ride... goodluck!

I dont like this wm6.5 verson. Still have some things in chinese after change language, just like the "new sms" and "new mms". Other problem on this firmware is the branding...
but that chinese windows cant change font to standart and change became kanjui font and i dont understand
I wrongly flashed my Q9h with WM 6.1 AT&T updates with sim lock from motorola software update site. Now my device is locked. How to remove this lock? Anyone can help?
