I flashed back to stock and now my skyrocket keeps bootlooping, I can get to 3e recovery I can toggle down to wipe data but the power button wont let me select it. Anybody know whats going on?
In 3e recovery it says verifying internal mmc block... checksum confirmation not need checksum confirmation already executed
#manual mode#

How far into the process does it get? Can you get it into it to wipe and factory reset? If it's boot looping then try wiping after flash.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
If your phone connects to Odin then it's a good sign.
Download stock Rom from link and make sure to check md5 for match.
Only flash if the md5 matches.
...make sure the appropriate boxes are checked (and unchecked) in Odin before flash.
Wait! Untill you see the green pass on Odin after flashing before disconnecting the phone. Phone may hang with first reboot. Pull out the battery and reboot a second time

Yeah, you have to make sure you factory reset when setting it back to stock. It will put you into a bootloop or hang on boot if you don't.
To get into recovery to factory reset press 'Volume Up' + 'Home' + 'Power' and hold it until youre in recovery.
the problem started when i reboot my skyrocket then i entered CWM then i went to extras and " format /system " i just did it and reboot my device and it didn't turn on the samsung logo just appear and disappear every time i turn on the device
...
and now i can't enter CWM to flash a custom ROM ... can any one help me to enter it or recover my device
Why would you wipe your OS without flashing a new one? It won't boot because it has nothing to boot. Shut the phone off and boot into cwm manually.

Please tell me you didn't really do that.
The ONLY reason you should format /system is if you're installing a new ROM, and even then you should flash the ROM pre-reboot. Simply put, formatting /system erases the Android OS.
Check the stickies for info on re-flashing stock.

It depends on if your phone is US or Canadian. I think you should push both volume up and down plus power. Let go of power button as soon as phone vibrates, hold on to volume buttons until CWM shows up. There's no point to let them go when you see samsung/model number, sometimes it goes right to boot if you let go of the volumes to early. That's why i usually hold both of them down until i see CWM.
Hey all, i wiped my system in TWRP recovery and when i hold power, home, and vol down, i get to the TWRP splash screen but then i reboot. Any suggestions?
bump please help
So it will not boot into TWRP fully? How many times have you tried cuz if you rebooted accidentally after wiping system (I've done this), it takes a few tries.
Alternatively, you could Odin flash TWRP (file is in Open1your1eyes0 root thread) and try booting into TWRP then. This increments your flash counter.

No problem. You're saying its booting to the TWRP logo or booting to the Samsung logo? Just wanted to clarify.
Also, hold: power, home, and volume then once it boots release the power button. That seems to be the only way I can cold boot into recovery.

Yeah i hold home, power, and vol down, then it goes Samsung screen > Samsung Galaxy SIII screen > blue TWRP splash screen > reboot to system and freezes. And another thing, if i odin flash this TWRP, will it wipe internal storage by any chance? Its happened one too many times to me

Hmm, weird. What were you doing before which led to this?
Nope, it doesn't wipe internal storage. Just overwrites your recovery partition. When Odin reboots your phone, pull the battery then try booting straight to TWRP. If you still can't boot into recovery try the same steps but flash CWM, flash a rom, and then reinstall TWRP via GooManager.

Just flashed it and it still wouldn't fully boot TWRP. I'm about to try CWM now. What happened was i came from LiquidSmooth AOSP and I was ready to flash Hyperdrive Touchwiz so I wiped all the partitions and flashed the zip. The Aroma Installer froze before it started so i battery pulled and figured I'd retry. It wouldn't boot and now I'm where I am now.

So I have a Tab 2 10.1 GT-P5113 that is more or less bricked. It won't allow me to boot in to the recovery in order to reset it. I've tried using Odin v3.07 to load Clockworkmod and the Stock rom that I found here...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2420381
but Odin doesn't like Zip files.
I've tried the Vol - and power buttons and all I get is a black screen. Vol + and the power button get me the ODIN Mode. This was so easy to do on my GP5.0 but it at least had a working bootloader this thing is completely uncooperative. Please help.
Thanks,

Have you tried unzipping the stock ROM, then flashing the md5 through Odin? The md5 needs to be placed in the PDA, make sure repartition IS NOT checked.

So I would try and find the stock ROM from Samsung. The one in development, though it IS stock, isn't what you want to get it back up and running, you want the official Stock from Sammie. I would unbrick that sucker first, then go back and root, flash custom recovery, then ROM.

Perhaps you can find what you need here: http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-P5113
Is there a way to create a Boot SD Card and force the device to boot into a Recovery mode? CWM perhaps?
I rooted my phone so I could get MOAR apparently I do not know how to flash...I've read tons of articles and still can't get it to stick.
Can someone help me? I downloaded Philz but I can't flash that either.
Going into download mode then odin on my computer insrting md5 file on PDA and pressing start,
what am I doing wrong?
I keep getting "footer is wrong signature verification failed"

Man, sorry tool so long for someone to respond to ya....... Ok
So you got root, so that part is outta the way.
Now, you wanna make sure your booking into DL mode correctly. Do not use the power menu to do that. For the best result when using Odin, you want to Power Down the device completely, the Gold Volume Down + Home Button + Then Power. On the DL mode instruction screen tap Volume Up to boot into DL mode.
Now plug your phone into your PC, then open Odin. I use 3.07.
Now choose the file, let it load, then start. When flashing a recovery, stock rom, ect..... Just let your phone boot up
So that your already rooted, you should be using Philz recovery rich NE5, just cause twrp isn't working properly with restoring a Backup.
So....if you haven't gotten it by now, this should fix you up just fine.

You have a bad download. Use goo.im mirror.
http://goo.im/devs/philz_touch/CWM_Advanced_Edition/klte
Use latest, also check md5.
Then download the ROM, and check the md5.
Copy the rom to internal sd and check md5 again, you can use ES File Explorer for that.
Shutdown the phone. Now volume up + home + power.
Once in recovery, nandroid. Then wipe system and do a factory reset. You must be good to go.
