How To Revert Back to Stock Rom (Galaxy Fit)

Hi Friends,
I'm using Galaxy Fit which runs Chocobread V 3.20. I feel Chocobread is litte bit slow. You guys please help me to revert back of stock rom(I'm From India). Kindly explain the way in detail.

Install stock ROM with Odin Multi Downloader for Galaxy Fit S5670. Download Beni 1.0.ops.
Download stock ROM for India from here:
http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/
Turn off cell phone. Push the Power, Home and Down button together. When the yellow triangle, connect cell phone and a computer with a USB cable.

so... just flash it,, like flashing a stock rom (that cannot be upgrade via KIES) or like flashing CWM using ODIN? even if i already convert the file system to ext 4. coz for CWM 5 not support RFS system (like creed rom) No bootloop will happend?

first you need beni.ops file.. (just google it and download)
and for the firmware either you require a "one package file"(.tar)
or 4 different files BOOT,PHONE,CSC,PDA. You can get a firmware for fit from sammobile.com
last thing you need is ODIN multidownloader 4.38 for fit or later..
open odin.exe
tick onepackage if you have a single .tar firware file.
if you have four files then you need to carefully place respective file in respective option in "select image to download" section of ODIN. leave EFS empty.
Click on start and wait till your phone boots.

I want to return to stock firmware after i install the "cm-10.2-20131012-EXPERIMENTAL-beni" but i can't find anywhere where i can download the latest 2.3.6 stock firmware has this mobile phone.
How i can find out which stock 2.3.6 firmware has this phone?

Have you try to download any firmware for that site lately???
ALL THE FILES where uploaded to hotfile.com and now you can't download any of that so....

Just google if you can't find. There are plenty of links available! :silly:

Which exactly rom i must download and install so the phone has the factory android 2.3.6?
Is that file correct from my gt-s5670?
I install it as one package file with odin program exist in that package as it show at the video and then i make the two clear choices from recovery menu.

You can find the required ODIN Firmware Package as you wish for the ODIN tool
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/ and put in the Device Model Number and download it
or complete Firmware Package of Gingerbread 2.3.6 DDKT3 you can find the link below

and Procedure to Flash is:
- Shutdown Galaxy Fit and restart it in Recovery Mode. For that hold the volume down key + Home key and power key. Hold it for some seconds and leave it. The device will boot in recovery mode. When the yellow triangle, connect cell phone and a computer with a USB cable.
- Launch ODIN on your system. In that look under ID:COM section. The section will turn to yellow once the device is connected and detected.
- Now click on OPS. It will ask you to browse the downloaded firmware package. Browse to GIO_1.0.ops. Once it is selected click on One Package and choose S5670DDKT3_S5670ODDKT2_S5670DDKT2_HOME.tar.md5.
- Now click on Start. The update process has started and it will take few minutes to complete.
- Once it is done, the device will reboot itself. Later on you can go in Settings and checkout the firmware version.

Its not GIO_1.0.ops.
Its BENI_v1.0.ops

all files r very important so always save those important file

My Galaxy S 4G is bricked

I need the pit file for the Galaxy S 4G ( SGH -T959V ) , because I used a non compatible pit file for my phone and now it is not booting .
please help !!!!

I solved the issue by downloading the file hawk.zip from this link ( http://sourceforge.net/projects/kc1cleanup/files/hawk.zip/download ) and then flashed it by Odin .

Did you get your device working? If not i know a guide that will help you tremendously. I had the same issue when i first started installing custom roms.

thanks , I got it working by download the hawk.zip and every thing went back to stock .

This phone is virtually.unbrickable

I'm soft bricked I think. I tried several guides but all the links are broken. Right now I can boot into stock recovery and download, but when I boot I just get a loop. Any advice?

Have you tired factory reset? Without knowing which Roms you were coming from and going to. It's hard to say.
Start over. Reflash stock (heimdal or odin... your choice/preference).then go from there. That's my normal routine.

I WAS tryin put the old update 4.1 to galaxy s3 sch-i535 with odin,, and make error,, stock n i unplug the cable n battery so now i cnt do anythong say FIRMWARE UPGRADE ENCOUNTERED AN ISSUE. PLEASE USE SOFTWARE REPAIR ASSISTANT & TRY AGAIN..

Well whatever you do do not use the assistant or kies it will push you to 4.3. Just flash a Odin version you know works.

You need to download the PIT file from here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2484064 , then flash it in with ODIN. I just did this not 5 minutes ago.

Return to stock rom from samsung - I9100

Hi friends,
I installed CM10.2 on my galaxy S2 using CM installer and now I want to return back to the original rom from samsung. can you please tell me how to do it.. I read about using some software called odin but my device is not connecting to it. I do not know what the problem is. Can I simply download the samsung rom and install it using recovery option?

your phone needs to be in recovery mode before you can use odin.

I connected it in Download mode but it was not connecting. I dont know why... is there any other way leaving odin thing out...

HELP....Odin failed during stock firmware flash

please help me, im no noob but im new to samsung devices......I have S6 G920F and had it rooted and custom rom installed ([ROM] [1 May] [AOD9 Base] [G920F] StockMOD6 ~~CleanSlate~~ [v1-02]) now i plan on swapping this device for an HTC M9 and want to return to stock so theres no problem for them doing system update etc....... i got this firmware G920FXXU1AOCY_G920FEVR1AOC1_G920FXXU1AOCW_HOME.tar.md5 and flashed through Odin........which then fails right at the end.......screen is stuck in download mode and when i try to flash through odin again my pc says the device isnt recognised and odin wont connect to it........HELP ME PLEASE

This has happened to a few people I think they restarted thier pc's and tried again.

Ok have you tried older build of Odin 3.09
also you might need the pit file to redo the partitions

s6 screen opposite
Please help me my s6 screen working opposite after I unrooted it for example if is select apps it will open phone which is on the opposite side

Simply use Samsung KIES to restore stock rom .... easiest way to do it
This will remove everything in your phone (make backup first if need)

Smart switch --> new KIES

Turned out I used wrong firmware, managed to hard reboot by holding power button then reflashed correct firmware......then I took the phone back and swapped it for HTC M9

sorry for late reply, I did a hard reboot by holding power button and restarted odin....then flashed the correct file

i have the same problem, both kies and smartwatch failed to restore stock rom and my device is not listed as a device that needss emergency recovery.
