I done a quick search trough the xda app and I haven't found a proper answer...
So can sometime tell me what hboot is please? As yesterday I turned my phone S-off to root it and the revolutionary software changed my hboot... I was wondering what exactly is hboot and does it matter that its changed/what does this effect?

Alright, HBoot is the bootloader - sort of like BIOS, it tells the phone what to do when I push the power button.

what exactly do you mean by **tampered**? is the device "flagged" to be tapered with, meaning you probably loose (part of) your guarantee?

That's what my bootloader looks like now. It says ***TAMPERED*** ***UNLOCKED*** because I tried superboot IMG from modaco yes, but I think warranty for hardware still exists. The system just found out that I've tried anything else. Will wait for next hboot or revolutionary

If you are s-on your bootloader must be locked.
Please give some more information about your situation,and what you have tried so far.
well..my inspire 4g got bricked..unlocked the bootloader via easyunlocktool..
and flashed an ICS ROM..
then got bricked..
tried few ways of unbricking..
but just didn't work for me..

You need to provide a little more detail than that if you expect useful help. What did you do? What error messages did you see? What have you tried? As best as I can guess, you're stuck on the splash screen after unlocking your bootloader and flashing a custom ROM. If that is the case, read my signature.

It was never truly broken. You will need to do this each time you flash a ROM.
