I've downloaded the Gingerbread keyboard and used it for a few weeks.
I went back to stock keyboard because I heard that it may be possible for someone (whoever uploaded the keyboard) to track keystrokes such as passwords.
I dunno...just didn't want to take the chance.
Any thoughts ?

You get that warning from any keyboard that you install.
Ive never used any keyboard but the gingerbread keyboard from the market. Nobody's hacked anything of mine. Knock on wood. That's a standard warning.

I really like the stock keyboard but I find myself needing arrow keys. The HTC EVO keyboard would prob fit the bill. Any way I can mod the stock keyboard or download the EVO one?

You can get swiftkey X from Getjar for free right now and it gives you the option to enable the arrows.

Hello,
I just flashed the Virtuous Unity ROM on my Mytouch 4G Slide and love it so far. With the exception that it does NOT have a Swype keyboard . Does anyone have Stock Swype App that comes with the MT4GS? Please help....I need my Swype back BAD.LOL

You can also register at the official swype website, and they'll send you the installer...
Plus they'll constantly update it, but the colors won't be the cool silver ones we have..
Ill make a flashable zip for swype. Lots of people are asking for it.
