I've downloaded the Gingerbread keyboard and used it for a few weeks.
I went back to stock keyboard because I heard that it may be possible for someone (whoever uploaded the keyboard) to track keystrokes such as passwords.
I dunno...just didn't want to take the chance.
Any thoughts ?

You get that warning from any keyboard that you install.

Ive never used any keyboard but the gingerbread keyboard from the market. Nobody's hacked anything of mine. Knock on wood. That's a standard warning.

Yes its called the g2x
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using XDA Premium App
Eventually it will have CyanogenMod on it.
I understand that the G2x has vanilla Android. I just like the bigger better screen of the HTC. I could do without Sense, after having the Nexus S.
The bootloader on the device is currently locked. HTC is going to unlock it eventually, and then we'll see what happens.

And the g2x is far from AOSP. I have it, trust me, it looks stock but underneath it's full of LGE's crappy framework and coding.

Landscape sense like flyer?

I like the ability to use my phone entirely in landscape. But beatmod is too buggy for me and I wanna keep sense. Possibilities? Even chances of a pure honeycomb port out there?

Try synergy
Sent from my Inspire 4G using XDA Premium App
Yes there's honeycomb and its only alpha builds. As suggested try synergy
Sent from my Inspire 4G using XDA App
Yeah I tried synergy and for some reason I don't like it. Not sure why. Guess its time to start my brain up.

Power button to hang up?

On my last two phones there was an option in the accessibility settings to hang up using the power button. But I haven't seen that option in the stock or a custom ROM yet. Is there an app for that or am I missing something? Sorry if this is in the wrong spot.
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using XDA Premium App
I'd like to know if there is a solution for this as well. I've almost been caught in some strange situations where I pressed the power button to hang up but obviously on the Sensation the call keeps going.
What phone does that?
Cm7 has this as default and can not be changed from my understanding. I personally do not like this option because it forces the screen to stay on and eat battery. For this reason I switched back to sense adhd.

Didn't remember that on my n1
Its a stock android option. Would really like it to be ported somehow to sense also. I'm not of cm so I won't be flashing it just for that feature but if you all like vanilla android then maybe that's your answer.

It's an option in the accessibility settings.

any solution for this?
Haven't seen any in any sense roms. Just the aosp/cm7 roms. It would be awesome if someone could add it as a tweak or addon.

NS4G Back button

OK so when I open an app and click the back button to exit out it sticks. It doesn't let me do anything for about 30 seconds unless I lock it and unlock it. It did this with stock kernel pre-root and post-root didn't do it very often, with netarchy it did it more frequently and with matrix it does it every app I open. Can anybody shed some light on this please!

I have. Ive tried miui, oxygen, cm7 and nightlies, kings rom, deck, stock odexed and deodexed I've tried so many and they all have the same issue. Trust me as soon as I find a new rom I flash it to review it for my blog
Sent from my Nexus S 4G using xda premium
im having the SAME issue and its getting annoying. i should have just kept my original NXS but instead my techs ordered me a new one because she ripped my esn sticker off the back. now my replacement has this ****ing issue and its annoying! its almost as if the phone thinks the button is being pressed (back light on only the back button goes off...phone is not functional until it comes back, which can be any given time, sometime the button just tweaks out and flashes on and off for a given time) ugh...wtf is going on

I found that flashing matrix kernel minimizes the issue.

Is it just me, or this version looks the same as 3.1.6?
It does but newer is better

Works very nicely and appears to just give a newer ICON. Does appear to be faster then previous version, probably just the placebo effect.lol
Maybe lol

Older versions were very slow on my phone. I hope this app fixes it.
