And i was asking if i can root my device to miui 3.2.7? and if i need to go back to the original version just for warranty whitout any trace?
if there is posible, can someone post me the links where to do the root from and where to go bock if necesary?
10x in advance

To S-Off, follow this - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1194488
This guide will also teach you how to flash recovery and ROOT. As far as i know, there's no MIUI 3.2.7, give me a link and i'll tell you how to flash.
The process is reversable, i'll post the link in just a minute.

i mistype the miui is 2.3.7

ohh, that's it. Steps to flash
=> OPTIONAL Download Titanium backup from market and backup all your apps.
=> Download and transfer ROM to SD card
=> Reboot into recovery.
=> Format system, data, cache and dalvik cache.
=> Wipe data/factory reset.
=> go to Install ZIP from SDcard => Choose ZIP from SD card => Select MIUI 2.3.7
Reboot, and there you have it.
PS- In recovery, you navigate Up and Down using volume buttons, and the power button is your OK/SELECT button.
PPS - The tutorial to reverse S-OFF was removed by author Still, you can reverse it, just need to ask around when you need to. I'm pretty sure you wont
DETAILED VIDEO TUT - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvg0i8in96M

Still w8ing for a Unroot option before i can use this, i may go in service whit this phone soon. 10x

You can definitely unroot, just post another thread in the Q&A Section asking HOW TO S-ON AFTER REVOLUTIONARY S-OFF. IDK how to do this, or i'd tell you myself.

If you used XTC then you don't need to bother about getting rooted to start with!
You will need to initially flash the ENG (engineering bootloader) see this thread over your existing one.
Then you aiming to install a custom recovery CWM (clockworkmod) which you can do by following the steps in my signature this will enable you to flash a pre-rooted custom ROM.
You'll need to download and extract the adb&fastboot exe's onto a directory on your PC.
install the HTC drivers onto your PC
then follow the steps within the Flash CWM & su via fastboot
At this point you should be able to take a backup of your original ROM (albeit now rooted) just in case you have any issues during the flashing of your first customs, you'll have a safe point to restore back to.
Now you can load a custom ROM that will be rooted.
see the various sticky threads for guides.
I'm off to bed now, but will assist if you need help still tomorrow.
thanks for reply pc watching die hard 2 so will work through your advice tomorrow

No problem, good call on the ROM only recently moved to this one myself and certainly don't have any complaints.
Would also suggest that now you're up and running it's worth switching to 4EXT recovery. It has more functionality and better support for our device even though it's still based on the solid code base of CWM!
Don't bother moving up to the latest HBOOT 2.xx.xxxx no matter what you read (not for a while anyway - just no benefit!)

Sensation XE

So i got a new sensation XE, i want to root it and install custom roms and stuff, but is there a high chance i could brick the sensation permanently?
There are always chances of bricking phone. If you follow guide proper it will reduce this. In my opinion if you r really scared of bricking it phone don't root or get iPhone or Nokia where you can't do anything with system OS.

Step 2 - recovery done
Step 3 - Permanently root done

1. Turn off fast boot (settings -> power), shut down your phone, hold volume down and press/hold power button until it boots into bootloader screen. If it says Revolutionary and S-OFF at the top you're ok.
2. From the same bootloader screen, select recovery with volume down key and confirm with pressing power key, it should take you to Clockworkmod recovery (or whatever recovery you installed). If it doesn't, you need to install CWM or some other custom recovery.
3. Install app that requires root, for example Titanium Backup.
If everything is ok, then you can go ahead and flash a custom rom from recovery if you want.

[Q] Manual Downgrade fail with HTC Dsire HD

Hello everyone..
I am new here, please forgive my long text and bad english
I have HTC Desire HD A9191 with Android version 2.3.3 and Sense 2.1, I wanted to flash a new ROM (Er3Bus XL - GingerBread 2.3.5 - Android Rom - Beats), so I followed the procedure posted in this thread :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/HTC_Vision#Rooting_the_Vision_.28G2.2FDZ.29_and_DHD
that was clear that i have to downgrade first, i folowwed the corresponding thread :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1178912
everything was OK, I choose the manual downgrad (I couldn't download the respective rom directly, so I didt it with the mirror link, and I think this problem was happened because the rom is corrupted) I have renamed the it as recommended PD98IMG.zip...etc but when the phone restarted into bootloader mode... arriving at this step: Checking [PD98IMG.zip] ... and then no "do you want to start update?" message is showed up, and then return to the main menu...
I have posted my Command prompt here

Stock nandroid/recovery.img links

With so many requests on here re reverting to stock rom I figured this might be of interest to some users who find the RUU download/install a bit of a drag.
It’s simply a CWM ext3 tar nandroid backup (factory reset/airplane mode & debugging on) from my Vodafone UK/Ireland branded device prior to Superuser root installation i.e. stock apart from the CWM recovery image flash. After extracting, the backup can be restored with CWM or 4Ext and, whilst it includes my custom recovery.img, this never restores on my device. I’ve also linked to the recovery image extracted from a stock RUU which can be flashed via adb-recovery:
fastboot flash recovery c:\recovery.img (this command when the recovery.img is placed on c: drive, as I use the bare adb-fastboot utility, because I’ll probably never use most of the full sdk package which takes up lots of space on my pc).
After restoring the backup, then flashing the stock recovery, I see no reason why my device won’t be able to receive the ICS ota update, and hopefully it won’t be long before it’s put to the test.

Help reverting back to stock

Hello,
Obviously, I have a HTC One SV that I bought second-hand and it came custom modded / custom firmware.
I am a newbie regarding Android or HTC modding. I know my way around computers, linux included.
I tried to do this on my own, but there's a lot of terminology like S-ON/OFF, hboot v1.x..., recovery this, custom that and it all seems a mess. This is not well documented at all.
If someone would be kind enough to tell me what I need to do to go back to stock (as close as possible), I would very much appreciate.

Well, i don't describe this way everyday (or second day) again and again...
In short sentence: get S-off with moonshine.io, get supercid with fastboot command and then follow my guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2386426
About the technical questions (what is S-off or fastboot) you will find your answer, if you make search on xda or google.

Ok, so I've checked moonshine, but the version is a missmatch.
Moonshine says it needs for the k2_u: 2.14.401.107 and I have 2.14.401.6
Thanks!
%edit: wierd thing, my phone has LTE (at least it appears in the "Mobile data -> Network mode" menu), shouldn't it be k2_ul?
%edit #2: I checked *#*#4636#*#* > Phone information and the selected "mode" is GSM/WCDMA/LTE auto. There's LTE ony available, if that counts for anything.
You have a k2ul rom on your phone (i guess, it Saturn III). But that does not bring you Lte (even when its available in options).
It is a k2u, when it is written in the bootloader.
Hm, i'm not sure, which version to use in this case.
But you should be able to install stock k2u rom with Twrp recovery. Make a backup and and full wipe before.
Also flash SuperSu.zip, you need root for moonshine. Then use the moonshine version for k2u.
All what you need, you'll find if you follow the link in my signature, in my index thread.

Ok, done (had some problems with fastboot, everything ok now).
I did the backup and removed the SDCard (paranoia) and now I want to do the full wipe.
Should I do the Factory Reset (Wipes Data, Cache and Dalvik .android_secure) or an advanced wipe and check everything?
What ROM should I flash?

Nice
Now look into your bootloader: If it is ***LOCKED*** and you don't see "Tampered" and the system is completely stock (no root or Superuser or something) you can set your device S-On again.
But at least there is no need for atm. If you get in trouble, S-off is the better way if it needs to be rescued.

It was locked, no tampered flag!
I unlocked it, TWRP 2.7.x recovery and rooted. I'm gonna leave it S-OFF and create a backup (nandroid), afterwards, removing useless stock apps like chrome, google music player, finances, stocks, etc
