Figured it out have S7 back installed thanks everyone!! This reminds me of the Sat Card days, LOL a new learning experience!!
Ok I think I screwed my phone up. Samsung infuse 4g unlocked rooted and had serpendipity 7 installed. in superuser program i hit restore to backup i had saved. after that it got locked in Samsung white letter on startup. Now its stuck on yellow triangle w/droid shoveling and words downloading under neath and do not turn off target. So how bad did I jack this think up. Thanks

ok got new g1 then root then i get a dead/stuck pixel on the top can see it when booting up to g1 and android menu so i figure its LCD is craping out... Replaced original soft ware and still stuck pixel so return it .
Got the new one let 2 days pass just to make sure no pixel problem, Just rooted it and boom after the first update to r29 dead/stuck pixel is back on new phone this time on the lower bottem side of screen.. Is this just becuse of the root software or im i just geting junky phones from my local store.
Any app to try and get the stuck pixel/bad working angen i have dvds for LCD tvs that flash random collors and boom stuck pixel is gone any thing like that for the g1??
I relly dont want to go back to the store as im sure they will be hanging my ass to the wall
you can try downloading pixel fixer v2.0.0 by thomas hopper. Just search for pixel in the marketplace on your phone, it should be the first result that comes up.
OMFG that worked wish i wuld have asked b4 i unrooted my first phone... Stupit T-Moblow had no reply other then take it back to the store , store had no idea so they just RA it ... Thank you so much

I've got a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (SCH-i905) and the think just boots back to this black screen, with a green Android wearing a toolbelt, the onscreen keyboard, and a field labeled "Enter your password".... WHAT? WHAT PASSWORD?! WHY DO YOU HAVE A PASSWORD?!
This happened after apparently the device was left to perform an OTA update that didn't complete properly due to a bad charger, is our best guess anyway. I can put the thing into Download mode, I can communicate through Odin, I have TRIED and TRIED and TRIED AGAIN to restore the stock rom, i'm just trying to get this device working but I can't! im at the point where im ready to put my fist through it, this has been just too much of a pain in the ass
I've searched and search these forums and others, no one seems to have a solution for my issue, maybe I should just trash the thing as it appears to be unrecoverable.
Thoughts?

Hello, I'm sorry beforehand if I'm not posting this in the right area, but I am kind of in a hurry and need this problem fixed ASAP. So here is the story:
My phone was running slow and the battery would drain out like crazy, so I read through a few forums here and there and decided I would FACTORY RESET my phone. Now might I mention, my phone was previously rooted by using a method from galaxyroots2 ( I picked the one for GT-I9100 ). I had ROOTED IT TWICE before. Both times work flawlessly. Now this time, for some very odd reason, my phone is stuck on a Screen which displays "Samsung GALAXY S II GT-I9100" with a little YELLOW TRIANGLE at the bottom. I pulled out the battery a few times but to no avail. Now I Am able to access DOWNLOAD MODE, but I cannot access the other mode where you hold the VOL button up rather than down. I'm kinda out of ideas, I figured this would take me 5 minutes like the last time. The KERNEL is a JEEBOO Kernel, I used Odin v1.85. I haven't performed any updates since it has been rooted.
NOW MY QUESTION IS : HOW CAN I GET PAST THE SCREEN WITH THE YELLOW TRIANGLE? and please dumb down things as much as possible. I'm not the greatest when it comes to these sort of things.

I awoke the other night to my phone at the verizon loading screen - I hadnt done anything to get it there; it must have rebooted on its own. I can get to the boot menu. But nothing else without it getting stuck at the Verizon screen.
All I want is the data on the phone, can I get that back? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

First time on the site but I wanted to check here before bringing it to a shop. I failed to root my SM-G930T correctly so I flashed the stock 7.0 UI to my phone and it restored everything fine. It was working great for a while and still is, but despite being 'official' under device status, only some of Samsung's official apps work anymore, specifically Samsung fitness and Samsung pay don't work anymore.
On top of this, when I got an update notification I was finished downloading it and once it began to install it rebooted itself around 32% and went to a screen with text similar to when it's in download mode, blue text with a black background, and then it would say starting android. This would then lead to multiple reboots for a while until it stood trying and just says it can't update. What should I do about this?
Man, I think I got the same issue!!! I'm virtually clueless, so I'm gonna keep an eye on this thread.
A friend bought my unlocked T-Mobile S7 G930U on eBay or w/e in Oct 2017. I don't WIFI, so I guess that's why I'm here.
