Album art - Thunderbolt General

Anyone have any issues with this?
For example, there is a specific album from an artist called Hopsin on my sd card and every so often the album art from him will over take all my songs, regardless of song, album, or artist... I can't reproduce it or figure out why it's happening.. Just totally random.
The only solution I have is to use cover art downloader and clear all art work then redownload it all.. Then a few days later it will happen again.. Very annoying.

[Q] Mixed up Album Art

This may have been asked in some other thread, but I couldn't find it explicitly. I tag all my mp3's by inserting the album art into the tags. It seems sometimes the album art will be correct after downloading some tracks onto the SD. For no reason I can find, I'll look at my music and the album art will have gotten mixed up and some albums seem to be using art from other albums. Seems like for some reason the DB is getting mixed up, and no amount of using apps to rescan the card seems to fix it. Anyone seen this before?
Using 2.3.3 stock and the stock player.

Installed Mixzing, ID's Songs w/Album Art, backed up & now gone after ROM flash?

I'll go into a little more detail. I have lots of mp3's that didn't have album art. I installed Mixzing the other day and spent a couple hours to go through each song that didn't have album art & getting said album art. On each song you can select an option to identify which also adds album art. I spent a couple hours doing this to each song one by one and once I was satisfied I made a Titanium Backup thinking it would also back up the settings for.Mixzing which would include album art. Fast forward to today and my phone had been acting weird so I had to reflash my ROM. Made one more backup to be safe and proceeded to flash and the recover my settings using titanium backup. Now when I go into Mixzing it looks like most of my album art wasn't backed up.
What happened? Is this still stored somewhere that I can attempt to locate? I really don't want to do this one by one again especially if there's no way to save it afterward.
Thanks for the help.
I checked one of the songs that didn't keep the album art and the stupid Mixzing advertising is in the comments section:
"Tags edited by MixZing (www.socialmuseinc.com)"
So now I have to put up w/their stupid marketing but no album art to show for it? Thanks Mixzing for the reminder of all the time I wasted every time I view the song details.
Anyone have any ideas here? If I use something like mp3tagger will the album art be permanent or at least backed up w/Titanium Backup? I saw no need to install another app since Mixzing had that feature built in. It was also supposed to automatically do it but I haven't seen that yet either.

[Q] HTC music player weirdness with ID3 tags?

The default HTC music player seems to do some odd stuff when generating album lists from ID3 tags!
Some of my albums are split up into 2 or 3 separate albums, I've reset all the ID3 tags and cleared the media cache to no effect.
Anyone else experienced this, anyone know a solution?
Yes, I am experiencing this issue was well... I copied around 3gb of music to my Sensation, and noticed the issue almost immediately. I cleared the media cache, and it *seemed* to fix it, but after a reboot it was back to weirdness.
Weirdness, as defined in my case, is where an artist will have the correct number of albums, but when selecting an album, I am given a track listing from either A) A different album, or B) The album I selected, plus a bunch of different tracks, with incorrect thumbnails for the album... Very strange indeed.
Another bit of weirdness is, once I realize the track list is jacked, I hit the BACK button, and I get a Force Close, with a 'Tell HTC' button. I've hit Tell HTC everytime in an attempt to annoy them... hopefully it gets through.

Do you have different album artist? I have a soundtrack on here and it's split up because the songs have different album artist. Not Artist, Album Artist

Not to speak for the OP, but in my case, the answer is no. I am taking about single artists albums...

Update... Winamp doesn't exhibit these oddities, therefore, I am switching. I really like the sense player, but can't live with the broken listing. I am sure it will be fixed in the update... Or at least I hope.

You just need to make sure you have the correct album artist and it works fine.

I do have the correct album artists, and it doesnt work... No changes to the tags, and winamp works fine... YMMV.
even if it says the right artist under 'artist' in the tag, it may have something else under 'album artist'
you can use something like mp3tag to read & edit the tags

Just having a toy with this, on mine looks like i had differing composers.. Just testing to see if that fix's it

wrong album art

For some reason, the album art of some songs is wrong as it's taken from another song.
Thankfully it has happened to only 2-3 songs out of the 600 I have on my SD card. In one case the album name is the same between two songs, so that might be one of the reasons although there are cases where the album names aren't the same and it still happens.
It seems to happen to the same songs.
I tried deleting the album cache and sometimes it resolves it, others no.
I'm using a Samsung Galaxy 3 i5800 with Froyo 2.2, using the default music player.
My cousin has a Samsung Galaxy Portal with Eclair 2.1 and has the same problem, although to him it happens to almost all the songs.
Any way to resolve this?
Thanks.
Anyone knows how to solve the problem?
Bump.

[Q] google music app

Hello,
I have a nexus 5 with android 5.01 and google Music version 5.7.1788Q.1634597
i found Music app cannot show the album art of all albums which all has a cover.jpg in the same folder of the music files (flac).
however, i have a xperia sp which has CM11 and same Music version, it can display the all cover art with the same set of folders i put into nexus 5.
anyone has any idea of this problem?
thanks!
Joseph
You can try to change album cover in Windows Media Player and then sync your music.
does anyone else have the problem that some (seemingly) random songs are shown one specific album art image instead of their own?
i dont work with folder, i have every music file tagged with the album art. usually 500x500 pixel. however for some songs android decides to just pick a random album art from another song and show it with them.
