Installed Mixzing, ID's Songs w/Album Art, backed up & now gone after ROM flash? - EVO 4G Themes and Apps

I'll go into a little more detail. I have lots of mp3's that didn't have album art. I installed Mixzing the other day and spent a couple hours to go through each song that didn't have album art & getting said album art. On each song you can select an option to identify which also adds album art. I spent a couple hours doing this to each song one by one and once I was satisfied I made a Titanium Backup thinking it would also back up the settings for.Mixzing which would include album art. Fast forward to today and my phone had been acting weird so I had to reflash my ROM. Made one more backup to be safe and proceeded to flash and the recover my settings using titanium backup. Now when I go into Mixzing it looks like most of my album art wasn't backed up.
What happened? Is this still stored somewhere that I can attempt to locate? I really don't want to do this one by one again especially if there's no way to save it afterward.
Thanks for the help.

I checked one of the songs that didn't keep the album art and the stupid Mixzing advertising is in the comments section:
"Tags edited by MixZing (www.socialmuseinc.com)"
So now I have to put up w/their stupid marketing but no album art to show for it? Thanks Mixzing for the reminder of all the time I wasted every time I view the song details.
Anyone have any ideas here? If I use something like mp3tagger will the album art be permanent or at least backed up w/Titanium Backup? I saw no need to install another app since Mixzing had that feature built in. It was also supposed to automatically do it but I haven't seen that yet either.

Cover art on Mp3 player

can anyone tell me why the cover art shows up on WindowsMediaPlaye but when i sync it with my fuze only some of the cover art shows up on the music library? im using the Elite RC2 rom if that helps....
anyone? know the answer to my problem?
If you want cover art for music you need to save a hidden file in the same directory as the mp3 file and name it like this '~hTC_Piano Chill.jpg'. Just start the name with ~hTC_ and then the name of the album.
Then edit the album title on the summary tab of the mp3 file to use the album name that is the same as the jpg. Don't include the ~hTC_ part there though. That's it.
Or embed the album art in the tags.
I use this program:
http://www.mp3tag.de/en/
Then I add the album art to all of the files. You can use this program to get album arts too from amazon.
Then I just put the files in my storage card
And BAM! You have it. After putting in your phone you might have to soft reset in order for the album picture to appear.

I've got over 10,000 songs. Is there an automated way to do this?

Not really. This program is best for one album at a time. If you have your 10,000 songs well organized in separate folders you can do this with ease.

i use mediamonkey, it can download album art from the net and update the tags... it can even sync with the TP.. i tested around 10 mp3 ID3 Tag programs before i found mediamonkey. Try it
windows media player has that function, just right click the song/album --> find album info ---> select right one ----> ok ----> right click song/album again ---> update album info.
or do what i did iTunes will do it very will, u need an account
MOE
WMP and Itunes both add album art work to their own libraries and it doesnt all sync over to the fuze for some reason. thats why i started this thread.....
now on to a new but related problem. i used mp3tag to edit the tags and embed all the album art then dropped all my music into my card and did a soft reset. the problem now is that instead of displaying the album art i get " ! " sign.anyone else had this problem? or know how to fix it?
does sync media monkey have the same problem?
or do i need to sync it using WMP again?
EDIT: nvm problem fixed itself guess it just needed a min to read all those song the majority of the song have albulm arteork and tags just a couple here and there that i either missed or just need to re upload. thanks alot for turning me onto mp3tag love it

Music Tab Player Hangs

Hi,
I have narrowed down my problem to the music player attempting to update album art.
After some time, it just hangs and stops playing. Eventually it comes back and music can continue.
I think the problem is with it trying to update the album art (I see the spinning circle on the top left)
I have read some issues with the files being read-only but that is not my case.
I also don't have any of the Update Album Art settings checked so not sure why it is even trying.
My music all has correct art. I've done it on my PC.
Any way to stop the player from trying to get the album art?
Thanks very much.
You can't stop it, a process is started when it starts loading the album arts, when that is killed or you reboot your phone you have to load them again. I never had to load the album arts 2 time.

Any idea why it causes the player to hang?
Thanks.
Well.. for me I can't even play the music until the album arts are 100% loaded so I just wait till they are lol. You should do the same or use another media player such as PocketMusic Player, S2P or Nitrogen.

Please excuse the ignorance but how do I know they are loaded? Once the spinning ring stops?
Thanks.

Yes, that's right.
I think I understand now.
I thought the Update... were toggles that meant to update as it went, but they are just actions.
Thanks a bunch for clarifying.
I left the phone on the music tab overnight, and even after that whenever I come back to play music it still seems to try to update the album art.
Is there any way to batch complete this?
Thanks.
That's strange. What I have done is like this: Storage Card\Music\Artist\Album and there I put all the songs from a release together with the album art and name it "Folder.jpg". After you update the library in WMP and go to the HTC player it will create a new .jpg in all folders.

I don't go through WMP, just copied my files manually but they all have the album art in the same file structure you mentioned. I use Media Monkey to clean up my media.
On a separate note, I noticed that you are from Sweden, a friend is going to Stockholm on Friday. Do you think flights from the US will be making it in by then?
Thanks.

[APP] Mixzing

I couldn't find a thread here so I figured I would make one. I had this installed before and got rid of it for double twist. I decided to install it last night to see if it had gotten any better and saw that it had an EQ feature.
* Mood Player automatically fills your queue with recommended songs
(like iTunes Genius, but way better!)
* Passive or active feedback improves your recommendations and
automatically builds playlists
* Downloads missing album art and displays it in beautiful detail
* Home-screen widgets with album art
* Recommends new music to discover
* Artist biographies and photos

Been using it on my G1 and N1.The best music app hands down and now with the eq update it cant be touched.
Not a fan of the gradient buttons though
EQ seems legit..switching to Mixzing just for this.
I tried MixZing for a couple of days. After I uninstalled, some MixZing-generated .m3u files remained. They show up in my other music players, but I can't find them on the SD card (search and all). Does anyone know how they can be deleted?

+1 on this. Anyone know?

[Q] Mixed up Album Art

This may have been asked in some other thread, but I couldn't find it explicitly. I tag all my mp3's by inserting the album art into the tags. It seems sometimes the album art will be correct after downloading some tracks onto the SD. For no reason I can find, I'll look at my music and the album art will have gotten mixed up and some albums seem to be using art from other albums. Seems like for some reason the DB is getting mixed up, and no amount of using apps to rescan the card seems to fix it. Anyone seen this before?
Using 2.3.3 stock and the stock player.

[Q] itunes music to android

hi. new to android (ex-ios). been using it for near a couple weeks now. loving it by the way, don't know why i hadn't switched long ago. i would like your input on how to transfer my music from itunes to my android device, along with the album art and all the id3 tags and all. i've spent long periods of time over the years organizing my music in itunes with album art, artist name, track/song name, additional info and wouldn't want to go through the whole process again. is there an easy, relatively easy way to do this? i tried transferring one album by airdroid, then opening it in poweramp, but it switched out artist and album names (album name was identified as artist and vice versa) and no album art. please help. any help will be highly appreciated. thanks.
