No one has posted this so I compiled this theme ZIP file.
I did not change anything about the theme, it has been extracted from the base EP4P ROM and simply put into a ZIP file to be installed via CWM. No changes were made at all. I don't personally make themes, I leave that up to the people who have a much better taste in graphics than I do.
This is the stock EP4P theme, poop and all. LOL The reason why I'm posting this is that as some people may know, going back to the stock theme before applying another theme is recommended to do, at least by TeamGummyCharged. So, here it is and all of the eye gouging horror.
Pay attention to the versions of the files I have below. Only install the one that's appropriate for your ROM version.
Stock EP4P Theme.zip
Stock EP4D Theme.zip

compatible themes for the allinone 2.3.6
I rooted my phone for the first time last night and have no idea where to start, and end, before screwing my phone up too bad. I did the all in one flash last night and am wondering if there is a compatible theme out there that I can flash to get rid of the "poop". Thanks in advance for everyone's hard work.
There's Black & Red and Black & Blue by stranula. There's also CoreDroid by ForeverSupra. Those three themes are compatible with EP4D.
So... take your pick. Look at them, see what you like, and install the one you like.
More themes are bound to come out now that the final version of Gingerbread is out for this phone. The developers will be more inclined to make themes now for the phone now that there isn't a "new ROM of the week".
Thanks!
That's awesome, thanks TR.

What themes from the Desire HD work for the Inspire or what should I look for in a theme to make sure it works?
all themes should be fine. Unless a theme is for a specific rom. just remember you can't flash a theme over a rooted ATT stock rom unless it has been deodexed
When I asked this, it was before all the Desire HD Roms came in the Inspire sectiion. I already flashed the Revolution Rom and now deciding which Theme.
What does deodexed mean?

quick and dirty odex explanation http://www.forceclose.com/questions/2307/what-are-odex-files
in short, a rom in order to be themed has to have these odex files removed and their contents packaged back into the apk file.
if you try to theme an Odexed rom I don't think it will even boot.
so i rooted my inspire but decided i dont really want to put a different rom on because of the sound issues i see going on..that means i cant use any metamorph themes?

dang i just flashed the regenerated 1.1 now the ef02 rom by midnight this is like christmas morning and you get everything you wish for and more
Bonsai 5 B13 wont go into deep sleep on my phone. That's the only EF02 Rom I have tried. Anyone seeing that with this rom?
Edit: answering my own question here, just tried this and no deep sleep. Even killed every process on the phone and stopped background data.

The zip was messed up. The hierarchy was wrong. I fixed it. Should work now. As far as the CRT and overscroll goes, I haven't seem them for this build and it was't my mod the last time.
I will definately try this out when I get home! Thanks again for all you do for the epic comunity. One question, and I apologize if it is stupid. I know this says rfs only, but is there any way to convert this to ext4? Your roms have always been of highest quality and exactly what I'm looking for, but the EE03 rom feels really slow and I know it has to do with rfs. I tried the only ef02 ext4 rom I could find and it was fast, but I had too many problems with GPS and other things. Thanks again, and I am autisim aware because of you.

The kernel has to be modded to support ext4. I'm not a kernel guy. I could possibly borrow the bonsai kernel but we all know where that would lead. I think this leak is better then EE03 was. At this point, when the OTA hits EXT4 will be available. However, this still feels pretty quick to me. I don't even use an Epic cause I'm using the Nexus S 4G but have this on my wife's phone and I don't notice much of a difference. I tend to ignore the benchmarks and go with how it feels in the real world.
While this build or leak isn't perfect it does seem pretty solid.
Octane is a pretty sick ROM. It is fast, battery life is brilliant, and it just feels good to the experience. However, I love the look of the stock gingerbread ROM of KJ6. Would anyone care to transfer the tweaks of Octane to a Stock KJ6 ROM? Or, if it's easy enough for a guy like me who knows nothing about developing, I can do it myself with a set of directions.
I would say that this is probably pretty close to what you are looking for

soma posted a rom.named simplysimple that its customed and fully debloated. if you dont like his theme you can flash the stock theme in the thread. im on phone so cant hook you up with link but search for his thread. if you want some bloat... modify the rom .zip and put the apks in their respective area. hope this helped.
This is ONLY for the official stock 2.3.4 LG ROM that introduced the new March 2012 baseband!!
I repeat, DO NOT FLASH ON ANYTHING ELSE.
Ok so since my real first porting of a theme (which was a little of a disaster in my opinion...) I've gotten a lot better/smarter.
This port is probably going to be the final. There's honestly nothing wrong with it so far that I can tell.
I might change the drop down menu background to something else maybe. For some reason, even if you use a transparent image... it still isn't transparent for me.
I just kind of grabbed some random image for the background and used it... it was supposed to repeat itself and just kind of scaled... and doesn't look too bad in my opinion.
How to install:
Download the attachment to SD card
Boot into CWM
(Optional) Create a backup in case of boot loop
Flash the zip
Reboot device
There is no need to wipe cache or dalvik or any of that nonsense. I NEVER do, but you can if you're paranoid enough.
Known Issues:
None.
Notes:
I disabled the overscroll glow. I just personally do not like it and it tends to make the device lag when it appears.
I didn't do any .xml changes so no colors should be ugly on certain other windows/frames.
The font in my screenshots will NOT be applied to your phone; that is the font I use and it is not included in the theme.
SOLUTION IF YOUR PHONE BOOT LOOPS
If your phone bootloops it means you dirty flashed 2.3.4 onto your device which means you were on 2.3.3, then you upgraded to 2.3.4 via LG Update tool, and then tried to flash this theme.
So what you have to do (and SHOULD do anyway) is download the rooted 2.3.4 stock ROM (thanks to kwes) and do a fresh install of it (wipe data/factory reset and format /system) then this theme will work 100%.

Big thanks to kwes and Core Memory... you all should already know why by now.

Hey man i've loved it, can you add the CRT on and off animation, please? I want it cus the stock one when you press the button to turn screen on shows the previous screen that I was before and then go to lock screen(very fast), know what i'm saying? That's annoying, thanks for the theme!!

Thank you and yeah I know what you mean.
I've stated before that I'm not a developer, nor am I a themer; I just simply port over stuff.
I would love to have the screen off animation, and quick toggles as seen in weapon and bionix, but I don't even know the beginning stuff. I'd have to do a lot, lot of reading and experimenting... which I may do one day but work keeps me pretty busy.
By the time I learn anything worthwhile I'm sure a developer would have already made a custom ROM out of this and did all that stuff .
Believe me, I want all that neat stuff too.
Yeeeeah, I've stopped using ics roms because of little things like that, I love when the rom works smooth and fast, it would be awesome if any developer did the crt on and off animation work here, I'm missing the toggles too

This is all Darkierawr's work putting this together. He asked me to release it if I have time as he does not. So I tested both files by Odining back to stock, rooted and flashed the BML then the MTD version from there. If you see Darkie around make sure to hit a thanks for him.
The MTD version will convert you from BML also and that is a big thanks to Toadlife for his conversion script.
So this is a flashable of the odexed full stock prerooted of the FC19 leak. Big thanks to Whosdaman for getting the tar for us.
The FC19 modem is here: http://d-h.st/eU1

This was rooted with shadowkernel so thanks to Bbelos!
The FC19 leak had the Sprint Connections Optimizer conspicuously missing so was this a backup plan? Who knows. Check it out if you like.

Odin is still definetly the way to do it.. coming from fc09 all the apps came with but still have 4g randomly coming on plus random reboots and freezing up when scrolling through the market hopefully this fixes all that. would still love to have sound for boot animation and some kind of sutdown animation would rock... any chance??

Coming from Odin of FC09 on BML this has all stock boot ani and sound. The MTD kernel used has the flashing Android waiting for you to stick in bootani and sound of choice. As for deodexed...easily done with Xultimate or deodexed tool of choice. If there is a big demand for the stock deodexed FC19 leak I will do it for you guys. A quick google will get you better answers but odexed means each apk in app folder and each jar file in framework folder is coupled with an odex file making it more difficult to theme or mod. Deodexed combines needed info into the apk files as well as in classes.dex. Then just the apk or jar file can be modded.

The only thing deodexed is used for is theming and modding.
If you're not going to be doing either of those flashing this should be fine.
How do we strip out the Sprint bloatware? Once it's rooted, can it just be uninstalled? Or will it come out with one of the uninstaller apps?
I think it's time to try something stock again- as much as I like ThunderHawk4, I'd really like my data to work correctly by itself all the time.
I have a personal [unproven] theory that different phones react differently to different ROM/kernel combinations. My first EPIC definitely played better with a greater variety than my current refurb. Maybe STOCK is easiest for some?
