Hey there everyone
There's a new recovery out for the Inspire that isn't CWM and I think you might want to give it a try. If you used to be a Droid user, you might remember this:
check it out here
It's tons faster than what clockwork mod recovery is (but can still flash your cwm backups!) and you can use your capacitive buttons at the bottom of your phone to navigate!
Plus changing the colors is a snap - built in utility for it! Only thing that doesn't work consistently is touch screen scrolling.
Go ahead and give it a try (if you're brave enough, I am not, nor is RZR liable for any damages, but you all already knew that =p). Definitely worth the shot.
edit: fixed broken link
Your link's broke

Thanks, fixed in edit
Thanks, working well thus far.
Cheers.
+1 Very fast and responsive. Matches my theme perfectly!! Very cool using the capacitative buttons to navigate

If you didn't make it then you should not be posting it. Sense this is a link to another thread this is not development and ill move it to general
Not a problem, thanks mod.
Also, I can't every use anything in cwm but my volume rocker and power button. I love being able to use the capacitive ones. Much easier for me

I flashed existz ics build a few days ago, it's running great. IM not sure if my question corresponds to that change, so... I now the option to flash CWM touch from within the app... I used a touch recovery before (not long ago) but it was too new to trust.
Do you prefer the touch version or the volume button controlled version?

I flashed the touch recovery yesterday and tested a bit....It works great and found no bugs so far, I guess the touch version is more confortable than the volume rocker one. However I think 4ext is still ahead the CWM...
4ext touch recovery is perfect. I have been using and testing it since before it was beta.
I got your 10 char right here

I prefer touch, honestly. I like to save my volume rocker from excessive mashing and my thumb loves me for it too.

I haven't used either yet (don't change ROMs a lot) but with all the threads I've seen about people's volume buttons breaking, either touch recovery has to be better than the old ones.
I have been using it for a week now and works great although the 4ext touch is still ahead. Not using the volume rocker is awesome.

Droid Charge:
TweakStock 1.4 + PBJ + EXT4.
Well a couple of things I'm looking for:
Slide to clear in the notification bar.
HTC Sence 3.X -4.0 keyboard(with arrow keys):

I looked everywhere and could not find any of the above. If anyone knows where i can find these for my phone, or is willing to put something together I will deeply appreciate.

First off dwitherall thank you for Tweakstock and all your hard work and all those involved. This is the best Rom imoa and your support is outstanding your a class act.
That being said I got an idea for Tweek how about a barebones version no music player, gallery, skype ect just the absolute minimum and let the flasher flesh the bones. Most people TB or Mybackup their apps and settings as soon as they flash and go in and gut all the redundant apps anyway.
I found the htc sense 2 keyboard, but all it is a stock keyboard with green lights... Im pretty sure eventually the new one will show. My wife has the inc 2 and the keyboard is awesome. I wish I knew hot to pull it out of there and create an apk of some kind...

Just pull it from her system and smash it onto your phone. It's not hard, but compatibility isn't guaranteed.

I have Hashcode's cm9 on my KF. What I want is putting it to full screen like in gedesROM power option. Is it like an apk file, or something else?

I believe he incorporated it into his ROM. I don't think it's an apk.
Oh. I really wanted this for Hashcode ROM. I also couldn't find any apps that would do so anyways.

I found it to be a pain to use to be honest. Haha. There are some apps that will fully go full screen anyway though.
Can you give me some examples of some for future reference?

He is most likely on an ICS build which does not have that function. It opens the browser, I tried today to change the function in ICS Sense but the only change I made was to make it TAB rather than browser. But there are many threads around here to explain this, maybe one could go at it with a text editor to achieve what they want?

I second the request in this thread, only less bitterly.
I became a little hooked on that function I guess! I'd also love to turn the slide out keyboard's back key to a keypress delete or something and a long press back so I don't lose XDA posts once in a while!

Post#1- Introduction:
This is the navigation bar which google earlier announced alongside honeycomb and came with the ics based galaxy nexus. Now this is the era of touchscreens not hardware and capacitive buttons!?come on people grow up!
Down here is a picture comparing nexus 4 to s3.
This will work on android 4.0 and above android versions and this bar takes up only 0.3 inch of the screen!
It is a three button bar-back,home and multitasking.

Re: (NEXUS Style)On-Screen Three Button Navigation Bar for HTC Pico(Explorer)
Afaik sak was asking for a kernel with bln sypport to port from (along with the lights.so lib from the same device ) so as to enable its support I guess. Once done in the kernel we need to download an app too to actually implement it. Correct me if I am wrong

It may not be all that user friendly on pico as you would be able to see 2 sets of keys but still I find it less confusing than the gestures....

Just cover them with black ink and if you like nexus 4 it doesn't mean everybody does so don't force it
And I can disable the capacitive buttons btw
I am using the nexus buttons.
I changed DPI to 140 to make it look a bit normal.
I still prefer capacitive though.

I have removed all posts that were Off-Topic, flaming, comparison, speculation and etc. In order to bring the thread back to where it should be I had to delete almost 40 posts... That is not cool!
This thread has what may be useful information to some so I have opted to leave it open for now. If it gets out of hand again it will be closed and deleted. Last warning!

i really loved this until i realized i cant even quit some games coz its improperly sized.. any fix? and also will simply removing the line from build prop
get rid of this ??
Yup remove the line save build.prop and reboot...voila its gone...ill try to make a flashable zip

Why bother with flashable zip, just edit the tutorial with something like
1. Download 'build prop editor'
2. Make changes
3. Reboot.
It's easier
