how many cycle have you been after flashing franco kernel???
have you wipe battery status??

what do you mean by "cycle" ???
does it need to wipe battery status before flash anything ???

sorry didn't make myself clear
only status bar drop every 5%
but when i use other battery monitor apps , it shows normally ...

battery cycle...
lets say..fully charged and drained battery--> one battery cycle.
I dont know really....but If I were you..I will reflash ROM again....
go ask BM...I think he will have the answer.....
battery wipe:fully charged..after that wipe battery stats

Battery Drain - Standby Mode

I'm on Darkyy's v8.0 ROM and without a SIM card. Since I'm without a SIM card the phones time without signal is 100%. My phones standy by time is also equal to the up time of the phone. Is this normal...? My battery is draining unusually fast. I've checked OSmonitor and I get LOTS of errors, but I'm not sure what causes them.
I found the same with that rom suggest use another rom as it fixed my battery drain .

Which rom are you using?
Why not put it in aeroplane mode?

Not sure about other non battery errors:
As for the Battery problem on v8.0
You can either upgrade to V9.1 and/or try the following which is found in their website
(Search for Darky ROM Calibrate Battery)
Calibrating Battery with Darky's ROM:
1. Use your phone until the phone switches itself off (battery empty)
2. Switch on once more to make sure battery really is 0% (it will then immediately switch off once more)
3. Now, keep switched off (!), plug in charger & leave in charging until 100%
4. When battery is full, switch the phone on, unplug & check if the batter immediately drops 1 or 2 %
5. If battery immediately drops, plug in charger once more (while running phone) & let it charge completely
6. Once charging to 100% is done, keep charger plugged in & Reboot into Recovery Mode
7. in Recovery Mode go to: advanced --> Wipe Battery Stats --> Yes-Wipe Battery Stats
8. When done: Go To --> reboot system now
9. Once system has rebooted, unplug charger
Try Simply Galaxy 2.4.1 with ROM JS5, i can run 1.5 day with moderate use of Wifi, browsing and email
Yeah I've had the same experience after upgrading to 9.x, I tried all the usual recalibration tricks and even bought a new battery. i'll give another rom a shot to see if battery life returns to normal.
I highly recommend Juwe's 1.5.5, fast, stable and great battery life.
Shouldn't this thread be in the Q&A section?

Use the app "Battery Mix" available in the Market too identify which apps/services consume an --unwanted-- x amount of power.
or the new Darky Rom 9.5

[i9003]xxkb3 battery icon is misleading not updating the status.

Well after 2 days of testing the xxkb3 battery usage which I have been talking about as great is a false perception, whats happening is that the battery indicator is not actually updating the real status thus showing good battery life.
I reported earlier that in ideal mode 12hrs night time its only consuming 2% that's not true, whats happening is that the moment i start using the handset in morning just after few mins I noticed a sharp drop in battery status I got confused the 1st day of test so did it another day & noticed the same behavior, hence installed battery Notifier (big text) which shows directly in the status bar & that showed a mismatch since this morning.
Here are few screenshot at 80% actual battery the icon is still showing me full charge to make me believe that its a good battery......now is it a bug in xxkb3 which should be reported or any way to correct it? DDKB1 which i was using earlier never had this problem.
The Green text at left is the battery notifier.
Dude i dont think its a problem.
The indicator changes according to the % of battery remaining. The default status indicator will have only a total of 4 to 5 stages of indication.
above 80 - state 1
above 60 - state 2
above 40 - state 3
above 20 - state 4
less than 10 - state 5.
For example
if % is above 80 , then the indicator will show full.
if it is in between 60 to 79 then it will show some changes.
Im using battery status widget to monitor battery as it gives more info on the battery status.
if % is above 80 , then the indicator will show full.
if it is in between 60 to 79 then it will show some changes.

yes that is what happening so you confirm that its normal. I will test it for few more days, do we have any app which can graphically plot the battery stats?
Yes, this is normal, you can check this battery indicator out it's pretty detailed - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=8639993
Or, you can replace the default indicator - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=724778
Thanks a lot
I have been hunting for that app in the market but could not find any such app there.

Try JuicePlotter from the market!
btw, dont these battery indicator apps themselves drain battery quite too much?

......and it is the same in KB1 as well. It is the normal behavior. @sgsI9003 Now the point is why the battery indicator (the stock blue one) suddenly drops when u start using it.

My guess is that at till 80 it wont show any drain & & then when I use for 30 mins assume it consumed another 10% so suddenly I see a drop of 30% bcoz the 1st 20% was not even showing at that time & I use to wonder how come 30 mins using consumes so much battery?
Now all is sorted out with these numerical indicators. After 3 days of testing I can say that xxkb3 has better battery life on ideal /standby if you use the phone just for calling it can last easily 48+ hrs, with web surfing, mail access & other multimedia usage it would last 12-24hours only depending upon how much its being used.
Another testing now reveled that each night I have different amount of drain which I assume that its due to radio signal interaction. Best practice is to switch off or put to airplane mode to conserve battery or have an app which can follow a time schedule to do this automatically.
Dude! why don't u try battery solo widget (free version from the market). It looks awesome & consumes around 2.9mb of ram with negligible cpu. so hardly any effect on the battery life.
For battery solo widget I have always had to go back to home screen to look the status but with battery Notifier (big text) I can see it always in real time on the notification bar.

[Q] Problem With SuperRom

Dear Superatmos,
i alreaday installed ur rom v1.1 n kernel v1.2 for about two days. the first day it work flawlessly, but the problem occur when i charged my phone to 100%, it started to lag and the battery usage for display part around 45%..does this normal?? because all the thread that i read doesnt have this kind of prob..up untill now the status of battery usage:
Display : 39%
Android OS: 18%
Voice call: 18%
Cell Standby: 12%
Phone idle: 8%
Android System: 2%
the remaining quota of battery 49%...how come the display use a huge amount of battery, i already minimise the brightness n enable the power saving mode...all the other part work fine except this prob with batt usage..
the % will start to go up when you use the phone's screen. It's normal dont worry
i hope you right..will monitor it frequently...thanks
no problem report back if you got a problem

[Q] Resetting battery stats

Hi
I have flashed my phone a couple of times and have some how messed up my battery stats.
I'm running CM12 Official nightly and the 5.0 alpha modem.
When i reach about 13 % the phone just turns off to black screen, so no graceful shutdown from low battery.
When i connect the charger, the low battery warning comes up and the after i few seconds it goes to the small battery with percent in it. It says 15% right when it comes up.
When in the small green battery with percent state, is the ROM responsible for showing that screen or is it the modem/bootloader?
How do i reset the battery stats, so that it shows the correct percentage left?
I found this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nema.batterycalibration&hl=en
Will that fix my problem?
Thanks
I'd say try running the app you linked to, it looks as though your low flag has become a bit wonky, the app will hopefully fix it.

How to reset battery stats on phone with no root ? I have a few options Help Please
Hi , I have posted my query in the oneplus 2 forum twice , but sadly no reply , But I have a oneplus 2 phone , in general it is working great.........BUT my battery stats are not reporting correctly.
Okay I have tried the fully discharge , fully recharge method etc etc......
So I thought perhaps fully charge the phone to 100 percent , then do a full reset ( But Will this reset my battery stats ??)
Or I have two options when turning the phone on with power pressed and volume down.....
1) Wipe data
2) Wipe cache
Ideally I do not want to fully reset my phone it is set up just nice and how I like it.....BUT the battery thing is niggling me too much...
I know the battery is not faulty because if I follow this procedure the battery is great all day....fully charge , then let it run down say a few percent
