Phone not turning on at all, had status 7 problem then tried flashing firmware to fix it and now it doesnt turn on!
Pls help!!
Does it display the battery when charging? Have you tried pulling the battery out for a few minutes? Have you tried getting it into download mode?

No battery well charging! no luck pulling out the battery! Download/bootloader not working. ****
I had an bricked Samsung Galaxy I9000. The only thing i could do was to build an JIG to get into Download-Mode. this should also work with the Nexus S. Just search in Google for Samsung Galaxy bricked JIG (Sorry not allowed to post links). I hope it helps!

My charger is not working now when i plug it into my phone its shuts down everytime i plug it on.. even when I plug it to my USB or charger its shuttin down.. its waiting like 2 secs. and then its just shuts down. my screen gets black and my phone turns off..
I can not get into download recovery mode anymore .. and
into Recovery Mode/ClockWork/ 1Click Stuff... the clockwork or something ..
I might be able to fix it if my USB or charger did work.

Hey Guys,
I'm not sure if this is hard bricked, soft bricked, or just altogether screwed. It's a stock Verizon SCH-I535 my wife had and wasn't rooted or anything. One day it just woke up off the charger and wouldn't turn on. Removing the battery and turning it on, it'll show the Samsung Galaxy SIII splash page and then go to a black screen. It will not boot into recovery, just vibrates then shows a black screen. It will boot into Download mode, however the Samsung Upgrade Assistant freezes at 83% when trying to repair it and Odin just hangs at SetupConnection... or Initializing...
I've tried different usb ports and cables. I've tried instructions from various threads such as
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1840030
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2586319
flashing a .PIT file and everything else I could find, to no avail. Is it just time to throw in the towel or is there something else worth trying? Thank you,
Nila
Bump
Bump, bump bump bump. Is there any way to check if this is hardware related?

Have you tried using a new battery? I would be VERY surprised if it was a software issue if you hadn't messed with it prior. I'd be even more surprised if it was a hardware issue other than something like just a toasted battery

Thanks for the thought. I borrowed a friend's battery and it was the same. Just stopped on the Galaxy SIII splash screen and then went to black. I'm probably going to call it toasted and go for an S5.

What about a stuck power button? Seems like a decent number of people are having that issue
My Dad brought the phone from Alibaba and after 3 months it was boot looping so i tried to fix it for him. When i got into the recovery mode i factory reset it and then it was flash nand or something like that. I stopped it half way through the process and after that the was dead. Not connecting to pc not turning on no lights to indicate signs of life. The phone is getting power because when it is left charging the back where the camera is located feels warm. If anyone knows a solution or is the phone unrecoverable please tell me

Hi, as mentioned it may be difficult to find support for knock-offs. I did find this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2433709 where the last post the member gave some suggestions of places to look.
You can also try to post your question in the international S4 Q&A section here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4/help
Best of luck to you.
My girlfriend is still using her s2 still she loves her phone but now suddenly the phone stopped working.. it wont boot into recovery or download mode to flash new rom.. also I checked with 3-4 batteries.. any solution for this or the end of story?
pls help me out guys
thanks
It looks like your phone just died. Thats funny. Check if your Phone charges or not when you connect it to a charger. If its not charging. Then its probably a Hardware problem like water chocking etc. If its charging then we can proceed Further. Don't forget to put A working battery in your phone.

Samsung s6 screen went off colour then started flickering . Last night black screen happeed but keys were responsive etc only thing that it would not boot in to recovery mode or download mode.... phone just keep rebooting ...
Now today samsung s6 will not power on ..
Could this be a Software Issue ? Because i cant think of anything else causing it
Went to repair shop and there asking for €180 to fix
Which is out of the question ..

Have you tried the kies method in reviving your phone? Have you tried to poweroff the device for about 20 minutes and tried again?

How long is this while? It could be possible that you completely discharged the battery so much that it has no power to get power (it is complicated, but it is actually how that works and is quite common if you just leave your device).

I left it over night not charging and must have no power to even get power like you said ..
I had it on charge for like an hour and not a bit of power in it unfortunately.
So does that mean its messed up and no good ?

S6 uses Smart Switch, not Kies, that's for most older devices.
If your device will not charge normally, you may be able to somehow externally charge the battery.
