This will give you a transparent Rosie Navbar on Sense 3.5. Extract from zip and push to system/apps with a File Explorer or have someone make a flashable zip since I don't know how. I use ES File Explorer and it does the job for me. I run EddyOS stock Sense 3.5 rom and whether it works on other roms, will that's for you to find out. Back up!
hi,
try on ARHD 4.16 but doesn't work ....
phone not up ...
EDIT :
make flashable zip and it works !!!!
tks bro
More easy to install : flashable ZIP ( RECOVERY )
here is a zip file , that you can flash from recovery ..
TRANSPARENT ROSIE NAV BAR SENSE 3.5
and you'll get transparent ROSIE NAV BAR
enjoy ...
is it possible to make the menu-bar at the bottom transparent too?
One without the "All Apps" and "personalise" text would be great...
@ umka and Scotsman So you want all apps and personalize text and Icon removed? This can be done but you will then need to use physical menu button to use these options.

I see no purpose in decompiling unless you are going to edit the xml's and for that I have yet to manage on getting either of those tools you mentioned working for me. I got it all set up correctly but there are no write ups on how to use the damn things. I've managed to decompile with apk tool but recompiling hasn't seemed to work for me. APk tool well that's just a lost cause for me. All I do is just extract like any normal zip and after I'm done, I place the stuff back in APK and zipalign.

The flashable zip file didn't work as you added the zip file rather than the apk into the flash file.
Redone, tested and this one installs.
However, after install it messes up the wallpaper selection as you can not select the full 540x960 wallpaers, it needs all wallpapers to be 1080x960!

OK, flashable zip attached. Tested and working
However, the rosie.apk file still has the same problem as the first in that you can only select 1080x960 walls, if you try to select a 540x960 wall it will be cropped to something smaller.

That's a Sense 3.5 issue not the Rosie. It did that even on stock theme and stock Rosie. To use 540x960 walls you would have to paste a 540x960 in the center of a 1080x960 template.

1.Download the zip file and extract it to a folder on your desktop.
2. copy the images from the extracted folder to the location in /data mentioned in the OP. Overwrite the non-transparent ones that are already there.
Use adb, android commander, a file manager etc to copy them.
3. Re-add the widget to your screen
This app supports Skins, why not make it into one so those that have this app can download it and install it that way?

A. I like the default skin. Just needed a transparent background.
B. A full skin would need a lot more work

i am looking for a flashable rom that would give the evo this dock in sence
i had it for my hero and just upgraded to the evo
and the hero ones made the phone (evo) not startup
so i am looking for a package that works on the evo
thank you in advance
(geekfor.me/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/home.png)
also there was one for the lock screen too
Fresh ROM has it.
is there any ways that i don't have to flash an entirely new rom that requires a data wipe had the phone for day and a half and have done probably 4 reinstalls so kinda burnt out on that
preferably a zip that just flashes over the current one like the one i had for my hero
if not i'll just flash that :/
+1 I too would love to have this packaged up that i an play around with it and colourize it to my liking...love the design needs more choice of colours
If you are interested, the files that display the bottom bar in sense are located in com.htc.resource.apk. this is in /system/framework/ inside there, the files you need are in /res/drawable-port-hdpi.

I'd like these as well!
Is there a screen shot I can view? I put in a request (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=806844) for my own set, but the developer is busy creating his own theme.
Calkulin has an Incredible rom out. Check the development thread. It has those same icons. I'm too much of a noob but someone might be able to rip them out of there...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=803331
I created the same topic. I guess I missed this one! The colored notification icons would be beast!
If some would let me know where there stored I can pull them and try to make a metamorph file to patch them into any Rom..
Yes, please please do this. I would like them too.
I can't download his Rom. If anyone would like to download it and make a mirror I can get to work on it. Idk why its not letting me download......
i dled it no problem, looks like each notification icon is built into the apps apk, ie the gmail notification icon is located in the gmail.apk
most of them are located in the framework-res.apk.
edit: so i pulled all the ones i saw, i can never seem to MM to work so i dont make the themes but ill post the images if someone wants to make it
i labeled the folders so you know which APK they came from
again this is NOT a theme, it is just the icons in folders

ok there is something wrong with my phone. when i try to download any file now it wont do it and and the .rar you posted when i download it, it comes up as a .bin....
nvm its only your .rar file that keeps downloading as a .bin anyway you can change it to a zip?

Are you referring to the small icons on the top left of the main window of the screen shots of the ROM? Those are from the apk's.
Ok so I made a mm theme for the icons. I will work on the gmail and others once I get home. Just unzip this into your mm theme file and go. Make sure you have a backup because I don't have away to reverse this yet.

It is a MM theme. Download Metamorph. Make sure that you have S-off or MM will not run. Take the download the file put it on your sdcard in the Androidthemes dir. launch mm click on the buttom to the left to unzip the file then click on the button to the right to apply the theme.

It said the theme control file is missing.
That's just a bug in mm. Just click apply theme find the xml file and go.
I also got gmail to work. I will upload shortly. Here is a screen shot too.

Thanks man! Also, can you use this icon I made for the regular Mail instead?
Attached
Where are the gmail and mail apk's located if I want to install them through Ninja Morph instead?
Here are the files to add to your framework-res.apk if you have a rooted rom. All you have to do is copy your framework-res.apk from the system and open it up in an apk editor then find the lockscreen files and replace them with these. Works really well. If I could get a screenshot of my lockscreen I would show you but I dont know how to do that.
Hey i was wondering if you could post a video or some screenshot of it in action because 3 white tiles with hexagons in them doesn't really give me a good idea of what it looks like.
Anyways nice work
Here is a link to the youtube video and a fix of the ring, I had my photoshop on the wrong layer. My bad! http://youtu.be/UUc1jVc_rAQ
Looks nice.
I had inverted the colors on mine... but the VR theme template didn't want to work for me and I got too lazy to modify the framework and re-flash it.
Question, were you able to edit the actual lock icon?
Because when I open it in Photoshop CS3 the transparency is messed up.
Also, if you have the Android SDK installed on your computer you can use it to take screen shots (even of the lockscreen), but I think a video is better for this.
Aright thanks for the video it looks sick

Ah, what version of Photoshop are you using?
I was able to open it... but it wasn't being displayed correctly.
i used photoshop cs3
Thanks, work great.
can somebody post those images in a zip file?
Zip file but it is not flashable. It is just a zip file of 3 images.
just to say i might be getting a transformer tomorrow and also i used to do lots of themeing so i can tell you that the images are indexed so you need paint.net to open and save then open the new saved file in photoshop and edit.
these will be included in the metrocomb theme

I can upload the PSD for anyone who would like to tweak this. Honestly I just did this for myself and thought I would share it.
Looks awesome! Is there any chance it could be made as a flashable zip? I wouldn't want to change framework Res then find I have to do it again when Rom is updated..
Many thanks all!

Great...I download an APK Editor, but is this true, that for every update we need tot change the framework again...
As requested above, a flashable zip would be realy great
I dont know how I would go about doing that.

You can save a copy of the one you modified, if no major changed in the framework, just push it again.
Actually you don't even need a apk editor. you can just rename the .apk to .zip, unzip it, do your thing, zip it back up and rename .zip to .apk.
Will Android install altered/unsigned .apk files? I'm not sure the unzip/alter/zip to apk method will work.
I used zipthemer from market to apply these and it worked fine. It makes an undo zip for you as well as creates a flashable zip for you to flash. I have attached flashable zip file for prime 1.9.1 rom as well as ziptheme zip file for whoever wants to use that. 152kb one is the zipthemer file. As usual make backups etc just in case.
Better download the nearest implementation of sense 5 clock widget.
