[Q] Can't turn on Galaxy Ace - General Questions and Answers

After rooting and getting my unlock pin, I uninstalled some pre installed apps.
When I try to turn on my phone - unplugged from any charger, it shows the battery empty symbol (sometimes it just does nothing) and wont let me turn it on. BUT! when I plug it into the charger it shows the true charge of the battery (100% at the moment) and I can turn it on.
Another thing I've noticed is that holding the buttons for download mode puts me in RAMDump Mode, and Recovery mode is now a different button combination.
I have to put it in download mode Via ADB commands.
So my problem is I cant turn my device on unless its plugged in - but once it's on, it no longer needs to be in the charger.
I have unrooted, factory reset, and flashed the firmware via ODIN several times which has not helped.
Please give ANY suggestions!

[HELP] Stock 5.0.1 phone power up issue

Hello,
I flashed the latest LRX22C image on my nexus 5 today.Had flashed it clean, wiping data, cache and system etc except the Internal Storage. Then I flashed the SUPERSU 2.37 ZIP .Everything was fine for about 4 hours. Then suddenly when I pressed the power button to turn the screen off,it was not turning off and the "Switch off" mode was popping up instead .Then, when I got a call,it switched off.The phone won't turn on again. It starts, the Google Boot Splash appears and the bootanimation starts for like 2 seconds and it switches off.Same thing for bootloader mode.
Please Help me!
EDIT: Now its turning on by itself and switches off in 2 seconds!
Sounds like a bad power switch to me, but of course that is just my opinion. :good:
sounds like a mech issue.

I have the same problem on mine now... Basically my phone powered down around 45%. Battery. At the time i thought it was dead... But it wasnt. When i would plug into external power, either usb or through wireless charging it would power cycle continuously at the android splash screen.... (1 to 2 second intervals - even if i booted into fastboot) Interestingly it would never go to the battery charging mode. But automatically boot on charge... It did this for about 6 hours then i gave up and left it unplugged for a day. I plugged it back in and it started power cycling again, however this time on its third boot it came back to life . thats when i discovered i still had 40% battery... I dont know what exactly made it boot but it did. Oddly also on boot, it started optimising apps and finishing install again. I checked the md5 before I installed the update so no issue there. Since it powered up i have powered the phone off using the power button long push and let the phone power down. After doing this when i plug the phone in to usb charge it goes to the charge screen. No issue. That said, if i try to power up while tethered and charging it will not allow it. It just stays at the charge screen. As soon as i unplug the usb the power button allows the phone to power up and work... When booted up it charges as normal when plugged in. Im convinced there is an issue with the power management drivers or drivers for the button controls. My phone worked fine until the 5.0.1 update was installed. On my nexus 5. Anyone else or just us two? Ive had a hard time finding people posting on this issue.

Moto G XT1032 - Can access Fastboot, but it wouldn't work - Bricked?

Hi. First of all, thanks for taking the time to read this. I know it's a long post, I'm just trying to be as detailed as possible.
I've a Moto G XT-1032 that stopped working a couple days ago. It has the original battery, original software. It didn't came with an original charger, so I have been using a Samsung Galaxy Tab one. The phone is almost two years old.
This is how it all started: It had low battery. When I got home it connected itself to the wi fi, and tons of whatsapp messages came at the same time. It went off.
I thought maybe it had drained the battery. Plugged it in to charge, didn't get the led on, and the battery showed 0% for an instant. Then the phone turned itself on, got the M logo and then the screen went black (like... some sort of backlight is on, but the screen is just black)
I turn it off, and it goes back on. No battery image, straight to the M logo, and then black screen. I tried holding power + vol down keys for more than 120 secs, finger pain is the only I got. It can access fastboot mode, but doesn't matter which option I pick, normal powerup, recovery, factory... I select them and then press vol up, but it just goes to the white screen with the M logo, then black screen.
When I plug the charger, and go to fastboot mode, it doesn't show battery charging. Just says battery low (or battery ok). When I plug it to the computer via the usb cable, and access fastboot, it shows battery charging.
The computer doesn't detect the device at all. First time I plugged it, it tried to install drivers, but failed. I downloaded them from motorola's page.
If I open motorola device manager, it tells me there aren't updates for my phone... So... I guess it's recognizing it? But I still can't see it. Windows only shows me my C and D drives, but not the phone. Tried different usb cables, different usb ports. Nothing changes.
I sent it to a service, they tested the battery and charging port, they said those were fine. But didn't find the problem.
Any ideas? Suggestions?
Thanks in advance!

Bootloop and Not showing up on ODIN

I was flashing new nougat king's rom for the s7 edge, however I forgot to untick autoreboot, and ofc, I got phone stuck in a bootloop....
I tried plugging it in, but PC doesn't recognize it at all, nothing like I didn't plug anything in, and OFC it doesn't show up in odin, that is the main problem.
Also I tried to force restart and enter recovery or download mode, nothing is possible, I restart with power+vol down, and when I switch buttons to power+home+ vol up (or down depends what I try to enter) nothing happens. I thought my timing may be a bit off, but I even used a stopwatch to know when it will restart and switch to another combination faster. I tried that many many times.... I saw somebody succeed here, but not me, should I let go of all buttons before pressing another combination? (I tried both anyways, but I am gonna keep trying)
Also my previous rom was note 7 rom, and I got a note saying that they will disable charging of my phone for last few days. I don't know how they are doing it, over OTA update or what?
Phone is Always on now showing "Samsung Galaxy s7 edge powered by android" i can only restart it, I don't know if I should let battery drain and phone turn off, because if I could turn it off, I am sure I would be able to enter recovery or download mode, but I don't know if it will charge when battery is empty, because of that "update" samsung is trying to push to note 7 phones.
Sry for the length, but I stated most things this way, pls help, thanks!!!!
OFC I forgot something, when I plug it in the wall, I don't think it is charging, no led light showing that it is

Htc A9s problem

Yesterday in my phone the battery discharged and turned off. Connected to the charger charged up to a few percent, unfortunately I wanted to show something on the phone, I detached it for a moment from the charger and again off. And now the crux of the problem. On the power button zero reaction, I wanted to make a hard reset by VOL- and power button, the phone reacts, the HTC logo pops up, but the menu is no longer (blue flickering screen) so I have no access to this menu. I read about uploading a clean software by RUU, but for this you need to enable fastboot mode or download mode, it is like the option of uploading the software via ruu via the exe file, but unfortunately I can not find it on my model. I will add that after I plug in the phone to the computer still shows information about the unknown device. Any advice, ideas ? I'm fresh on these issues. Sorry for my bad English.

Samsung Galaxy M31s bootloop, not entering recovery

Hi everyone,
My phone got updated to UI 3.1, after the restart it has gone into boot loop. I am not able to enter the recovery also. Not able to turn it off, it continuously restarts after the Samsung Galaxy M31w powered by Knox screen.
I have connected the USB to the PC and tried all the combinations to enter the recovery mode.
Kindly help please.
Use the buttons to try to force a hard reset.
Otherwise, let it run down until it auto shuts down unless you can easily pull the battery.
Charge to at least 50% before trying to boot up.
Hopefully it will at least allow access to the boot menu afterwards.
That really sucks... if you're near a Samsung Experience center drag it into them.
I'm having far less issues than you with Samsung updates but the recent Wearables update trashed my bt partially. It's still fighting me even after a roll back. grrrr... it was working fine until that forced update
you might need to use a cable to enter recovery or download modes now like other Samsung phones.
the instant the screen goes black try holding volume up and power and plugging in the USB cable that's connected to something on the other end.
Did you solved the problem???
