I know the question must have been already asked, but I recently bought a Transformers and tried to watch a movie with my megavideo account and.... it lag .... a lot.
Does someone have a solution for this? Or is it impossible to run smoothly flash video stream?

Hi people, first off all thx in advance, ive been having this problem for around a week ever since i tried doing stuff with tf3d config and theme files, my problem is now if i try to play a video it simple will not work, ive attempted hard reset flash sd card format, none of it will work, ive tried 2 play a video on the htc album app and it freezes on the loading screen. On windows media it says cannot play, im not sure if this is a driver problem or a software problem, i can play videos on skyfire directly from youtube but it is not smooth at all and on my android port some videos play but they are also choppy.

I need some help. I couldn't find any info on my problem in TF forums, hence created a new topic.
The problem is that I can't watch an Online-TV (I use etvnet(dot)com to watch some Russian TV) on my TF. I tried stock player and Mobo player, but both of them can't open the file.
I don't know all the technical details, but I know that the video streams as WMV-file using MMS protocol. Any suggestions on what player can play it?
So far the only way I found was to watch it from my PC using Splashtop HD, however it's kinda slow and works awful in "full-screen" mode.
You can try plex to stream it from your PC to your TF101. Or use handbrake to re-encode it to something that the tf101 can play (search the tf101 forums for handbrake)
I use a registered copy of ChewTune to rip iTune TV shops for watching on my TF700.
The transfer will state completed and apepar the correct size but about halfway to three Q's through the show it will free with a loud buzz.
Nothing I have tried such as moving beyond the point will help.
Tried several movies players with same results.
My question is there software that would scan the movie file and report or fix coding problems?

Sounds to me like you either have something configured incorrectly in the ripper, or its buggy, but in either case it is unlikely a simple edit will fix the videos. The problem isn't likely a playback issue on your TF700, but try playing the vids on a pc and see if they work. If they do you might need to encode them differently. If not, then you might need a new ripper.
I am experiencing similar thing, but any show/movie stutters from beggining.
I use BS Player which worked perfectly fine until 4.2 version of android.
I think it is the ROM, not the movies. As mentioned, they work fine on PC/BoxeeBox - and they worked just fine on infinity, too - but not anymore.

Using MX Player on both 4.1 and 4.2 with no problems at all, perhaps your problem comes from BS Player.
I can second. I'm on CM10 using MX Player, and it can play my 1080p/5.1 bluray rips without any problems.

Been there, done that! Guys, loose both BS and MX and get Dice Player and all your problems will magically just go away! Works flawlessly over wifi too. Took me a month to figure this out and I had all your same issues. Thanks @jtrosky!!

I've already posted this question in the viper one s rom thread.. But haven't found an answer yet. So I figured I'd try asking it more generally here.
I just recently flashed the viper one s rom, and the only issue that I've ran into so far is the video playback of videos that I recorded using the phone camera in the gallery. My recorded videos simply won't play at all in the gallery. However, they do play perfectly fine with third party apps like MX player.
So does anyone have any ideas as to what's going on.. And how to go about resolving this issue.

Have you solved? I am having the same issue on stock rom... It feels so dumb 'cause I can edit the videos in the gallery and when I do that it shows the video, but not when I try to play it normally!!

My tf101 is currently running dolphin or default browser on katkiss 4.4.4 and when i try to watch online videos apart from youtube it plays the sound but the image stays black. I was wondering if there's anyone that had the same problem and solved it? Videos on youtube website play well but other streams do not load, when i play from youtube website it appears to be using a different video player from the rest which i assume it would be why im not able to see the others. Is there a way to change this?
