Does anyone know how to move my iGO folder to to Phone memory?I have enough space for it because I use oxygenr2 hboot and I have 337 mb free space on my phone.I would like to do this because I thing that my Sd Card make some problem and reboot my phone while I'm using iGO.Somewhere i saw that iGO crashing if sd card is not fast enough....that's why i want to move it and see the result.
I think Titanium Backup can do that, on a rooted phone.

i need to transfer all my apps from Internal memory to SD card....i saw APPS2SD app but it says that it doesn't work with cyanogen 4.1....
is there any way i can move all the apps from the phone to SD card while staying on cyanogen 4.1....
Apps2SD is automatic with Cyanogen Mods.

So I am trying to add more things to my memory card and I deleted some old things...however...my storage space stayed the same. I have a mac. I went into disk utility and tried to repair it but it didn't help. Its a 16 gig card and I don't want to have to wipe it add re-add everything. Anybody have any tips out there for me? I would really appreciate it.
Your memory card may be faulty, or it may be write protected. Did the files actually delete?
Where do you have the Memory card, in your device or in your Mac ?
Try to reboot your device or empty the trashcan on the Mac.
Your memory card may be occupied by deleted files that are in a trashcan on the device itself. I.e., on SD card my LG GT540 is folder /.Trash-1000 (she is hiden for unix-based OS).
It says that the files are deleted. They may be in a trascan on the sd but how would I find that. The data is off my card I just don't get the memory back so I can add more stuff.
So where do I go on the sd card to empty the trash bin or whatever?
I don't think there is a trash bin.

Click to collapse
Search any like /.Trash* or RECYCLE
And what OS on your phone? And filesystem SD card. Maybe you use a modified firmware with support for ext4 filesystem, and a memory card for ext4. Then just a part of the space can be used for root.
Or your card just damage.
Sorry for my bad english.
By now, you probably already figured it out, but on your mac (with your phone connected to it) select your device and then go to your Trash and empty it. That should do it.

I wanted to ask this questions in the developer forum and after searching and searching though the General and Q&A forums I can't seem to find a clear answer so here it is.
When I setup my goldcard the only microSD I had available was a 4GB and now I want to upgrade to a 16GB and I have lots of stuff on my 4GB that I really want to keep and since I made it a goldcard none of my readers can ready or copy the data from the card, which leads to my question.
How do I get everything off of my existing 4GB microSD onto my new 16GB microSD without starting from scratch?
Is there a tool out there that can read my cards so that I can copy the data to my my HDD?
I tried to use a hex editor, but realized that since the FAT of the card has been modified specifically to that card, I'm not sure where to start copying from so that I don't waste my 16GB card when I write the data to it.

Hopefully someone can help me. Im new to the XOOM. Bought a Verizon model.
I have copied files from the computer to the XOOM SD Card. On the computer, it shows them moving over to the XOOM's SD card.
When I go into Astro file manager & click on the External SD card, it gives a popup that says New Directory, Directory does not exist. Create?
When I click ok, it says error writing file.
How do I get the XOOM to actually read the files I moved over? Do I need to root?
The xoom reports its internal storage as an SD card. Check there first.

Astro file manager needs pointed at the correct location (it's stupid that way,) go into settings and set it's external SD card path to /mnt/external1.
