You can get a 1800mAh battery for HTC TouchPro2/Evo (that is the same battery) for less... and not from Mugen. But you have to take the RED ones.
I've got one of them and my battery life is really impressive.

Same here, plus you can get two of them for around 30 bucks. Between underclocking down to 245 when the screen is off and the battery, I get a ridiculous amount of battery life.
Damn 44.95 is indeed too much $$$. I would pay that kind of money for minimum a 2200mah one

Single and kit links above - all you need is a nail clipper to clip off some of the black plastic so the battery sits flush in the phone. I also removed the red label on one side (it just peals off). Some have said that it fits without any mods though. Im still in the testing phase of my read chictech. Before power cycling it the battery life was terrible, now that Ive cycled it Im seeing better battery life then stock OEM. I unplugged @ 7AM and I have 65% battery life left on Virtuous 0.70 with moderate to heavy usage throughout the day. HSPA+ on full time, WIFI on full time....see for yourself, I think the singles are only 15$, thats what I got.

Ha! Thanks for the idea! I just pulled my TP2 battery and clipped off the tab and now have an extra 200 mAh for free. Might give me an extra hour or two of battery life. I don't know about those 1800mAh batteries though.... if the 1500mAh has a tough time fitting (closing the battery door), how bad will the 1800mAh be? Might require an extended battery door...

WOW! your ''moderate'' usage must be higher than mine. I use hypersense nov aon stock battery and usually get ~2-3 days. And even more on cm or miui. I would suggest the andida battery. There is a thread floting around here.

thanx
I was going to do that Big Battery thing but if you search on the forums you will find a database of Battery test and the dollar to performance ratio isn't great... those 3200 mAh batteries give you actually somewhere around 2400-1800 mAh.

My Thunderbolt's battery life has started to decline fairly signficantly over the last month or so (no new ROM or apps to my knowledge). I've had it for over a year and a half, and I have used it extensively so I'm guessing it's just normal charge capacity reduction over time. I am wondering what's the highest capacity battery (in mAh) that's available which fits the stock case? The stock battery at 1400mAh seems like it's fairly low for the size of the battery, so I'm hoping there's newer/aftermarket ones available which fit the stock case (the phone's big enough) and adds some battery life.
The rezound battery is higher capacity and fits perfectly.

Cool, I thought I had read it does fit, but I wanted to be sure before I placed an order.
mugen makes a 1900 mAH extended rezound battery that will fit the bolt's stock battery door. AFAIK, 1900 mAH is the largest capacity that will fit without adding the bulk of the extended door.

Thats what i keep running in to! Buy bigger batterys and get the same usage out of them as I did with a stock one....
Done the same think on EVO 4G, EVO 3D, and the Thunderbolt...
So I just keep the stock battery Running LS 3.2 on the thunderbolt and can get 1 1/2 days out of mine but I have full 4G LTE signal all the time.
I Have the Seidio 3300 fits STD. Oversize case last All day... Don't know about stat reset but a Full charge & let it go to off & recharge full gives me 12-16 hrs heavy use..which is acceptable... I can burn a stock one to 0. In 3-4 hrs... Good luck!

I use the Rezound standard battery in my T-Bolt gives me all day juice unless I'm really heavy using. I love the fact that I don't have to use the extended battery / case door is awesome. If I'm going to be out and about away from power I just throw the extended on there.

+1 for Rezound battery. I'm actually happy with battery life of my Thunderbolt with it. Just needs ICS.
So its been a full week of testing this battery on my infuse and no lie its amazing. It last about 2x the original battery with full usage. Use as in playing game for 1hour and 30 mins= average 13% drain. Use of Facebook,YouTube, and generally anything that uses the web for about a good 6 hours(not in use every min) average 27% drain. Then next day still have a good amount to last me through the day. First day around 55-65% and second 49-2 or dead. Its really nice, infuse not as heavy(pretty much same weight). Case fit perfect, durable and nice feel to it.

Something like this?
http://www.amazon.com/Green-Externa...347898124&sr=8-9&keywords=3000+mah+power+bank
Looks pretty good, only $17.25
Assuming you want to carry something extra around, I guess there are two possibilities:
Option 1 - carry spare battery (charged to something like 80%... avoid 100% to extend battery life)
Disadvantage: Have to open up phone (always possibility to contaminate) to replace battery, possibly daily if that's your pattern. Might confuse your battery monitoring widget program and possibly the built-in battery %-remaining feature.
Advantages: In the time it takes to swap battery and boot back up, you're done.
Option 2 - carry a power bank which can charge your battery in a few hours.
Disadvantage - takes a few hours plugged in to get back. Doesn't really have much way to know how much juice is left other than LED when fully charged
Advantage - don't have to open up phone or reboot.
Thanks for the info. Since I did spend some money (a whole $8 on my 3500 mAh), I will try to get use to it rather than switching. Hopefully, someone comes up with a case.
However, that is an excellent idea with the battery power back up for when we lose power (happens more than I would like). Keeping one of them around would have some advanatages.
Edit: cheap ebay 3500 mAh is now draining faster than my regular battery. Might not need to worry about the case...

Hows the battery doing 5 days later?
I experienced a drain on the 3500 and the 1750 stock battery for several days. I had to switch ROM builds but didn't put the other battery back until last night. Right now it is plugged in so I will report back in a day or two.
Edit. Using it two days now and it drains as fast as the 1750. Will give it one more day then back to OEM and Bodyglove case.

Battery lasted one day running really well and the next day (after recharge) drained twice as fast. Went back to standard battery and am using this as a back up now. Very disappointed in the quality.
I tried one of these when I had a captivate and had the same issue. First charge was great but it got to where it lasted the same as the original battery. You have to go Anker or Mugen for descent quality batteries.
I might check it out. Thanks.

I just got in my 3500mAh battery from the ebay seller known as battery gallery, and at 1213; I still have 80% of my battery left, and I unplugged it from the charger at 0800 I consider this pretty impressive, but it's only day 1 of using the battery.
I wish you better luck then I had. First day was good, second day okay, third day someone pulled the plug on the drain. Drop very fast. Of course I could have just gotten a bad battery.

Hey mate, is it safe to put a much bigger battery than the stock ??
Will it be an issue during charge ??
CBS, using a bigger battery than stock is fine. I've used 7-8 and4oid phones with extended batteries and have never had an issue. they will however take longer to charge due to the increased size.
I used to use a zerolemon 7500 mah battery in my galaxy s3. It was great. Took twice the time to charge but well worth it. Only plug it in to charge at night.

No problem. Sounds like a 7500 mah battery sounds like it will suit your needs. Internet, gaming, streaming movies and music will take it's toll on even the best batteries. A 7500 mah battery will last me all day with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and gps all day for work. The average user will get 1-3 days depending on use. With the right rom and kernel can do wonders.
