Database Info

N00b saying hi!

Hi all,
HTC virgin here - upgrading from an iPhone 3G S to the HTC Sensation in a couple of weeks, after four years of being an iFag.
Great site here, loads of info, as soon as I get it I'll be S-OFFing and flashing Revolution HD 3.1.0
I'm keeping an eye on the camera mod too - the video quality improvement is looking good, I'm hoping future versions will also reduce the compression in still images too.

I see that you have been reading some info already but make sure to read the guides that are all around the HTC Sensation forum before messing with your phone and you won't have any major problems.

I never think of any post saying hello to fellow enthuiasts as a useless thread, but everyone's entitled to an opinion.
I've been jailbreaking iPhones since firmware 2.0 up to iOS5 so I'm well aware of the risks, especially as Andriods don't seem to have a DFU mode... which any iFag knows means "Damn, F***ed Up"!

Hi all!
After useing Galaxy Tab GT-P1000, i just got my i9003. I wish i bought an i9000, because i cant use miui or any another rom. Btw im enjoying the little screen what i always in pocket have. If some body know some good roms please write me pm. Im on gingerbread XXKP9.

You will not regret it one bit. I love this phone!

I can't wait I never used to sensation before but I read nothing but good things and it will br my first phone with a 4.3 inch screen

Thanks for all you did for our Captivates, Mikey. Serendipity was the 1st ROM I flashed, and I kept with it all the way through S7. Best of luck with the SGS2...they're lucky to have you.

I swore I'd never buy another samsung phone. But, if I can keep unlimited data, I'll be picking the S2 up tomorrow.
They should give Mikey free upgrades. He's a main reason I'm picking the S2 up as my next phone.

Just picked up my skyrocket, upgraded from my iphone 4. Iphone 4 just got boring...so lets see what all the fuss about skyrocket has been. Already rooted and flashed a rom. Looking forward to more flashing.

I know that you gonna love this device because android is just plain simply better. I had all i**** and was running on apple for years until i picked up i777 and than i727 trust me the most amazing phone on att yet.

Upgraded from an Infuse (that I was mostly happy with except for some app freezing) to a white Skyrocket on Sat. Absolutely loving the phone so far... not sure how I feel about the fact that a Skyrocket HD is coming... but I'll cross that bridge when that device gets released. So far I have no problems the screen resolution.

This phone has literally been through hell and back, twice, and it still functions & LOOKS like brand new..
Had a blast obsessively reading these forums back in the day, when I was flashing constantly. Lotttttts of activity has been through this sub-forum here on xda. Lots of awesome people, lots of pricks, makes for an awesome flash community in this fast paced smartphone world.
Watch, like 5 years from now when there hasn't been like any activity for ages, someone will randomly post asking, "how to flash rom?" All of us will be in our wheel chairs with captivate tattoos being like wtf n00b!..

not your typical "so long G2x" thread

hey guys, just wanted to say thanks for all the help i've received and the knowledge and info i have picked up along the way. the G2x was my first android device and i have spent many a night reading through posts to find out what i needed. i hope i was able to give back a bit here.
i sold my G2x so i could get a Galaxy S III so i will be over in that section of the woods (and the xoom section)
hope the G2x gets CM10 soon. i was going to wait and see when that came out but had to pull the trigger on the S3 before the deal got away from me
again thanks to everyone here who has helped me learn about what these Android devices are all capable of! see ya around!

actually wanted the last nexus phone, but the new one has pretty close specs to the S3 but with no sd card slot and no removable battery, had to go with the S3 it was a no brainer
