Probably not, I have wifi connectivity issues on pretty much every rom out there, I just have to toggle wifi off than on. I did you wipe data when first flashing? If not I'd boot into recovery and wipe data, cache and reflash.

I found the problem i kept turning off the data toggle thinking it was auto rotate. sorry for misunderstanding

Could just make the updater script clear the dalvick after performing the tweak ^-^ won't hurt.

Does anyone have issues with stock browser lag since eh06? I do. I have been checking back often for a fix but haven't seen a post about it yet. Can anybody confirm the eg22 fix working for eh06?

Lol its never worked properly for most people thats why they end up with fc's sometimes, plus it wont hurt to wipe manually right?
For some reason this caused my phone to go screwy, I wiped the cache partition and dalvik cache and then flashed the zip. When I rebooted my phone started going haywire after it booted up. The screen went black about every other minute and acted as if it rebooted or something with all data being cut off during the time of blackness and a media scan occurring immediately thereafter. I tried rebooting, re-wiping the caches, and eventually I just wiped everything and started over. After my system was set up calibration seemed to fix the screen rotation lag. I am guessing this was an isolated incident, but I'd recommend just trying the calibration first to anyone with the rotation lag.

[Q] No more data...

I'm currently running Alien build 5 and I currently do not have access to my data connection. I've used Alien 5 without issue and I recently flashed Faux's OC kernal. I had the data connection for a little while then it disappeared. Wifi works fine but the only way I am able to get my hspa+ or lte working is by reflashing the Alien rom and starting over from scratch. Why do I keep losing my data connection? Any help is truly appreciated! Thanks!

Are you making sure your apn setings are correct? And do u have roaming enabled
problem may be the operator?
in some places the reception is different
or it might be misconfigured apn
How can I be sure my apn is correctly configured? Also I double checked and no roaming isn't inabled.

I noticed I was able to get data back after a fresh reflash then lost it after I restored everything with Titanium backup. I chose to just restore my apps instead of everything and I was able to keep the data connection working. I'm still a little confused as to what was causing this but hopefully this'll help someone else out.

When you stated you did not restore everything, did you previously restore system data? You should never restore system data only apps and their data. Anything else will screw up your ROM

Yes I restored system data as well. I assume thats where the problem arose.

WiFi on beans 6

So today when I got home from work I went to turn on my Wi-Fi and its not working. I hit the toggle and it turns white but nothing. When I go to settings it shows Wi-Fi off and if I try and slide the switch to on it won't stay. I am on jelly beans build 6 on the stock kernel. Wi-Fi was working yesterday just not today. Any idea what might be wrong?

Did you try to reboot? If that don't work I'd try to wipe cache, wipe dalvik, and fix permissions.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda premium
I had that problem and did a battery pull and reset my router.
I did the reboot wipe cache, dalvic and fix permissions with no luck. And my router is good, the Wi-Fi it won't even turn on, on my phone the switch automatically switches back to the off position. I'll try the battery pull. Also I flashed the Rom originally with lean kearnal then later on flashed the stock kernal on Beans post, don't know if that has anything to do with it. Thanks for your help though.

That's definitely the problem! I don't think it flashes necessary Wi-Fi files when you install it separately. Someone else had this problem in Beans thread recently. Flash Leankernel again and you'll have Wi-Fi OR if you disliked Leankernel, reflash the rom and choose the stock kernel.

Back to "stock" ROM kernel?

Can I go back to the kernel that came with my ROM? I'm running Liquid 4/20 nightly with KT kernel currently and want to go back to "stock". Any way to do this without reflashing?

You will have to reboot into recovery and wipe data. It will take you back to when you first flash the ROM.
Thanks for the response.. What all will be lost with data wipe? Will I still have downloaded apps?

The user wants the stock kernel which came with the ROM. He has to flash the Kernel or flash the ROM once again after wiping the data.

Yes this is exactly what I'm asking about. If I don't have the kernel and I reflash the ROM after the data wipe, what will I have lost when the phone reboots? Maybe a better question is what will I need to restore as I've done a full backup.

When you dont wipe anything and flash the rom, you won't loose anything as far as i know. This method is known as dirty flashing. This may sometimes causes unintended issues.
If you wipe cache, dalvik-cache, boot, system and data and flash the rom, you will loose all the apps installed, messages, contacts etc. This is full wipe, clean install.
