i have i9003 and im happy with it - Samsung Galaxy SL i9003

Congrats guys for this section
you know what i always say
why we always looking for high specs that we dont need ?!
simple phone with strong features thats all what you need and if oneday you got the chance to get higher think carefuly cuz maybe its not gonna make a big change
i have i9003 and im happy with it lets pop this section

Im really happy also with this device it has all what i need......can't imagine how im satisfied with it......

There's a common misconception that our device is more like a cheap version of galaxy s. Well the truth is that its more or less equally powerful , atleast in processing department.
The reason is that TI Omap is a very good processor as evidenced by Droid Xs run as the best device of its time.
also, many people have the misunderstanding that the gpu on our device Sgx 530 is a lot less powerful than the one on sgx 540. But they are completely ignoring the fact that it is overclocked. misinformations of these kinds spread through false rumors.
the gpu on the soon to be released galaxy nexus is sgx 540 , also overclocked and thus is better performing than the 540 on galaxy s.
And about our display, many tech reviews actually find the sclcd to have more natural colors and brightness than amoled. The amoled on galaxy s was especially botched up with the pentile matrix setup and incorrect color profiles.
So there guys, anyone who went for galaxy sl instead of galaxy s should regret even a bit.

@mavericks Droid X lags like ****, Their default launcher is the mother of all snails.
Also, shouldnt*
The phone is equally good in it's own sense. I have no regrets with this phone. First HD *Well sort of* based phone I ever used. Compared to the 3GS/iPod that I constantly used before getting into the android fetish, this device is the main reason I got into hardcore android craze. So yeah, my virgin experience, thank you I9003.

Oops. Thanks for correcting for typo, misledz. Shouldn't regret!!,lol
I was using swype and didn't notice the mistake. Thanks for the additional info as well

Satisfaction of the phone doesn't always mean remain on stock. The question was if people regret this phone or are satisfied with Samsung's so called "SupposedtobebetterthanI9000"

I'm quite happy with this phone. And being on these forums doesnt mean I'm unsatisfied with it. Heck even if I had a Galaxy S3, I'd flash the hell outta it just for kicks
Well with that said, I DO WISH we could have functional video calls on our phone. That is all.

I think the i9003 had ****ing laggy on scrolling (on internet, apps) ... I try all firmware and tweaks and I have it.
If I don't find a solution I think buy another phone -_-

Hi Everyone

Hi, I just wanted to welcome myself to the community. I originally had the samsung vibrant, but it was lost . Asurion sent me the sgs4g because they didn't have the vibrant available. I miss the 16gb of storage from the vibrant, but sgs4g sure has its benefits. I know it's nothing new for you guys, but I love the 4g speeds, the larger battery, and a WORKING gps that locks in seconds!!! The front facing camera is a cool added feature, but I am not sure if I would ever use it lol. Also based on the leaks we will eventually get gingerbread, hopefully . I did notice that rooting and flashing this phone is somewhat different which doesn't bother me. I just have to get used to it . All in all, I am very happy with this phone!
Oh, btw, most importantly, can't wait to start flashing!!!

OK kid go play somewhere else if u can't contribute a helpful answer....I'm on vacation so sorry that I don't want to spend hours looking through mass of posts on my phone....if u came to the epic touch corner I could help you with the same question...here I'm clueless...sorry for seeking help....

This isn't going to end well, so lets nip it in the bud now. As is probably on all the forums there is no most/best/awesomemest etc. Its all subjective on what a person likes or dislikes does or doesn't do. I can say black ice, but the next person says AR, then the next says something else until you essentially have all the roms listed from the Dev section.

You don't even have to read a lot of posts, you read maybe one or two pages at the most and you'll find out, for instance absolution(the only Rom I use on my inspire) is extremely stable for me and is perfect for my needs but it may not be the same for you it may not work for you, you may prefer sense, so really its all personal preference. Threads like these get closed all the time because they're unnecessary since most of the roms in this forumare plenty stable except the ones that say they are betas and have things that don't work. There is that a good enough answer for you? Because that's exactly what that picture says. A picture is worth a thousand words.

I guess maybe you guys have more going on here with your roms then the epic touch community has atm.. there are probably 3 or four roms that ppl would agree on being the more stable and bug free roms....that may not be the case here, but like I said im out on vacation and was just hoping for a way to find something to fix my nieces phone before I head out home tomorrow. Either way I looks I'll just have do some searching of my own when I get back from the beach....best regards and sorry for being that guy to post a subjective question

Galaxy Note

Been fun guys but I am switching over to a Galaxy Note. I am giving one of my friends my phone so modding still might happen just not by me. Thanks to all the developers who made me LOVE my SGS4G!
This is so unnecessary... ugh...
^agreed does everyone have to start a thread when they're leaving?
Thank's aren't asked for but aappreciated
I think it all depends on what you're going to give, if you need a tablet Note can serve as a "tabletphone" but if you not squeeze the potential of your phone i don't think you needed buy it, unless you catch a good deal ...
I just love the screen size and resolution. My bad I been on these forums for this specific phone for a long time.

ı know i just think that it deserves thats all. i dont need your or other people's thanks. maybe thanks is just show your feelings. i mentioned that say thanks not hit the button. u got it? and moreover i have no time but altough this i am trying to help people but the things of these people do is just download and install. do you think that i deserve it i mean no thanks no comments come on i am not adamant please dont understand me wrongly.
You are not helping yourself.
Certainly alot of people forget about the thanks button or don't know it.
But just ranting and demanding a thanks for every download is not the way to go.
It's no different in the market, most people won't rate 5star if they are happy with the app but just happily use it, and only rate 1 star if they are unhappy.
There is not alot one can do about it in the market, or here, so we have to live with it.
Basicly, you should not post content, if the only intention is to get your "Thanks" counter up. Just be happy that you made other people happy.
Correct me if i'm wrong, but didn't you just extract the gallery app from a MUIU ROM?

no you are exactly right but i dont know how to say it is not true to just download and use it without feeding thanks or anything.for example your efforts works i mean you are a developer and you know how much time u spend to develop something. can you continue to development without thanks or donation or feedbacks. of course i post something just for helpıng to people but just a thank i deserve for this i mean not with button maybe just with a feedback comment or whatever it is.
i am spending time for people but when there is no comment i am getting crazy ı am sorry for this but the situation is this.
yes maybe you r right i will learn to live with this.
no i extracted it from vurrut rom v5_beta4

You can't rely on other peoples feed back, every phone reacts differently to ROMs, they may all be infuses but they all are actually quite different...none of its hardware is exact...same goes with any device...they are all built to a certain scale...like as long as its with in 5-10 inches its OK, but if its under 5 or over 10 inches then its not OK (that was just something easy to relate to ..switch those measurements with what the hardware can stand temp wise, oc wise, UV wise, everything...)
Thats why some people can under volt there phone by a lot and other people can barely under volt there phone...why some people have no problem overclocking and other people experience reboots, heating...etc
That is why you really need to just try them yourself and see what happens...

Personally for me. I like Paranoid Android. I love being able to change the DPI and overall look of the apps. I like making the text smaller on most of them so I can fit more on the screen.
Its just personal preference on what works well for you.
We have some great developers on here who are cranking out awesome builds for us!
