Smjfosho said he was working on one in another miui thread. I messaged him and this is what he said " I've been trying, just can't get it to boot. I've been talking with the o2x guys and they are having similar issues." So hopefully they'll get it figured out soon.

No problem dude. Im thinking bout craigslisting a mt4g or g2 just to mess with but I'm sure we'll get miui eventually. Its just a matter of time just hang in there.

Any new news on Miui for the G2X?

believe me, we'll know when something happens.

Never messed with MIUI and decided to load it on my HD2 that my wife uses and I must say it is a bad a$$ OS. I can not wait for some MIUI action on the G2x!

I am also waiting very patiently for MIUI on this phone. They are starting to make headway as a phone has now been purchased with some donations. Here is the link.

Gonna make videos

OMG, this is awesome! Can you post a video of you flashing Gingerbread? Including bootloaders and such? I know it's a big and tedious request and i understand if you refuse to do it. Thanks for the help though!

i just put up a guide how to get 100 percent working gb all the time everytime if u wanna make a video of it it would prob help alot its pretty damm simple

getting away from gingerbread back to any team acid rom. it was a pain but i finally got back to Redux. thanks for all of your help man

i know that you can take snap shots of your screen but is there anyway to make video without having to use a camera? ive seen it done for computers before. i figure that would be much more convenient. and it have some sort of spot or cursor for where you press. (and yes i realize that would be next to impossible for what you are trying to do, cwm and rebooting and such.)

If he was just using the Android OS, yeah, it's possible, but he's rebooting into download/recovery mode that don't support screencasting out of the box. It'd be hard to do, so camcorder is the best bet.

Uhm , let me get it in term's that way you stop crying & acting so rude . I use a base as a ROM not other people's ROMS & i edit my ROM is just like everyone else's here , as i said there's not much stuff we could work with all of my roms are stable just bug's like every other ROM .

uhm , many other's ? I was here the first day since the sidekick +4 ROMS & they were all stable w/ no problem's until this new one LRV3 , i do have room it's a section & i was here since day one don't tell me what to do , to me your just another leech on this forum , how about you give people tip's of what to add not saying everyone's roms suck because if you didn't know ICS V1.5 get's +22.00 in linpack when every other ROM get's +17.00 , don't say i'm not a true dev if you can't do what i do .

Really? I use my phone everyday, I'm on GOV1 and loving it, I don't see anything wrong sofar, aside from the gallery which I had on the stock rom and gcv2, I don't get why u got on here crying?

Every single ROM in the sidekick section is stable , they have the most bloat removed if they remove more bloat you will remove a vital processor which will cause the phone not to boot & stay stuck at the splash screen .

Well am not dissing and that new rom well I diss like it because you can't eidt menu and there's bugs in it but just think I am on this xda all the time I see a lot port over stuff from other phones well why can't we talk to a dev from cm and ask if thy can help out and do a blind biluld like undead his stuff is good but it needs work on don't all want some cm stuff on your phone and trust me I might of put the wrong words but we need more devs in here and don't ask me lol because am not smart to do that to hard I can only mod xboxs and xboxs 360

Its been a while since MIUI was "started"... I totally forgot about it. :-/ This sgs4g is my first android phone so I have never used it, neither CM... but im enjoying what we have so anything that comes next its extra.

Question is, do you guys want a good solid working miui or a hacked together hardly usable pos miui? Things take time, and a lot of the additions I've seen coming out lately are all stepping stones. Hassling our devs isn't going to speed anything up.

Valhalla is pretty close to what you can do with CM. The real different is the t-mobile theme engine built in, and a few more tweaks. The only true benefit of cyanogenmod would be official support, so we would always be upgraded to the next OS. I'm not sure how CM9 will look though- it will be impressive no doubt.
Truth be told I do not know how they decide who gets official support. It is nice because you almost always have the latest OS before anyone. Then again, people tend to get bored with almost everything, if we had CM, we would probably still be switching to different roms. For example, I switched to Blandroid on my Nexus One because I would tired of CM. I switched back again, but you get my point.

Also when we got source that was win... even tho it wasnt complete n had to use the i9k to finish parts of the stock kernel...
Also we need a more updated up stream for u boot n cm7 asop kernel before the rom will be proper this takes time

I get it. I wasn't complaining. Just noticed something for the first time. Guess I misunderstood about what to post and not post and the way to go about it in a thread.

Thanks Raver. I've never had any problems with your roms. The newest being the best rom I have ever used.

Thanks for all your hard work..i'm fairly new here..and I've never had any problems with your roms. If some ppl spent a little time searching and asking in proper areas such as Q & A instead of cluttering up the dev sections things would be better. Almost 99% of the time the answer is already posted. Again, thanks for all your work, time, & effort you put into creating roms.

Lesson learned on my part. Raver has been invaluable to me personally. When I finally got the courage to root my phone maybe 6 months ago I hard bricked it with the first flash. If not for Raver I'm not sure what I would have ended up doing.

Funny FB. Everyones entitled to meltdown every now and then.

Honestly, Raver, you shouldn't even re-open your thread. Keep it locked and provide links to your ROMs elsewhere. This way, people will actually be forced to post in the correct sub-forum and maybe even (hold on to your seat, kids), just maybe, try searching for their issues themselves. O: O: O: O: O: I know, I know, it may be hard for some of you to fathom, but yes.. your question actually has been answered before (a million times), and yes, you can find it yourself.

I must say that we are so grateful that there is a man called Raver that working hard for our phone to make it fast and stable, yet there are people relies on asking without searching for answers first, if can't find answers from millions of replies then that's the time we have to ask, as we are so grateful that we have a place where we can customize our phone and make it look cool.. and once again we must consider this man's creation as we are just waiting what Mr.Raver going to provide us.. he deserves appreciation for what he have done...

I just want to say thanks to RaverX for sticking with us and thanks for all his projects
