OMG, this is awesome! Can you post a video of you flashing Gingerbread? Including bootloaders and such? I know it's a big and tedious request and i understand if you refuse to do it. Thanks for the help though!
i just put up a guide how to get 100 percent working gb all the time everytime if u wanna make a video of it it would prob help alot its pretty damm simple
getting away from gingerbread back to any team acid rom. it was a pain but i finally got back to Redux. thanks for all of your help man

i know that you can take snap shots of your screen but is there anyway to make video without having to use a camera? ive seen it done for computers before. i figure that would be much more convenient. and it have some sort of spot or cursor for where you press. (and yes i realize that would be next to impossible for what you are trying to do, cwm and rebooting and such.)

If he was just using the Android OS, yeah, it's possible, but he's rebooting into download/recovery mode that don't support screencasting out of the box. It'd be hard to do, so camcorder is the best bet.

hey man great video, but I have a question. I noticed that when you were flashing kg4 rom leak thru odin you checked re-partition option, I heard this is a big no no. I hear you're supposed to leave that unchecked or else you can brick your phone. Is it because is a gingerbread rom that you checked that option?? I'm just wondering thank you.
Gingerbread did that itself! See I thought the same. But one time I got scared and unchecked it and it bricked my phone so... I left it on!

edit: also even though the video was a great source, I also think you should tell people to make sure voodoo is disable after or even before flashing the gb rom. Some people may forget. After all, the kc1 comes with cwm + voodoo lag fix so I would assume the lagfix is enabled????

Bkoon1218 gave me an idea to become a youtube partner so I could possibly get another galaxy s 4g for better reviews instead of me wiping data and then setting everything back up after the video, because its really annoying. And im getting the hercules but I want to keep my loyalty to this community!

Yes, you need at least 100 subs and I think over 1,000 total views. But I'm not 100% sure on the views qualification. I have about 800 subs and about 250,000 views total all about MT4G stuff and I've made about $600 total in the last 6 months to give you an idea of how much you'll get. So you'll definitely be able to get a new high end phone each half a year.
If your application to become a YT partner is accepted then just enable the revenue sharing on each video. Good luck bro.

It should be somewhere in settings. Something like "Apply for Revenue Sharing."

No problem. My tip is that you should make some videos pertaining to Android in general and not just SGS4G because not many people have that phone. That way it will build up your views and subs, thus more money.

Yeah, like maybe when you have a larger amount of videos on your channel, you can just post in one of the SGS4G video reviews and say, "For those interested in getting the most out of this device, check out my channel for SGS4G tutorials and ROM reviews!"

Any recommendations? I honestly have no idea on what I should make videos on!
if you flash roms from time to time show MIUI on it, show CM7 and its capabilities, show some errors you might get in certain roms for some people with better explanations... things like that with the right description and tags you will get some views. show some difference in video from the g2x preferabely all the same locations EG... outside same time frames, miui, froyo camera/ ported to GB roms, CM7... I'm personally curious to see if there are substantial differences.

I haven't even planned anything for college yet... I only really plan on going to become a Marine Corps Officer. But I want to be enlisted for the first few years, because there are way more opportunities. I'd love to push my physical ability and become a Force Reconnaissance Marine.

Its been a while since MIUI was "started"... I totally forgot about it. :-/ This sgs4g is my first android phone so I have never used it, neither CM... but im enjoying what we have so anything that comes next its extra.
Question is, do you guys want a good solid working miui or a hacked together hardly usable pos miui? Things take time, and a lot of the additions I've seen coming out lately are all stepping stones. Hassling our devs isn't going to speed anything up.

Valhalla is pretty close to what you can do with CM. The real different is the t-mobile theme engine built in, and a few more tweaks. The only true benefit of cyanogenmod would be official support, so we would always be upgraded to the next OS. I'm not sure how CM9 will look though- it will be impressive no doubt.
Truth be told I do not know how they decide who gets official support. It is nice because you almost always have the latest OS before anyone. Then again, people tend to get bored with almost everything, if we had CM, we would probably still be switching to different roms. For example, I switched to Blandroid on my Nexus One because I would tired of CM. I switched back again, but you get my point.

Also when we got source that was win... even tho it wasnt complete n had to use the i9k to finish parts of the stock kernel...
Also we need a more updated up stream for u boot n cm7 asop kernel before the rom will be proper this takes time
