As we all know the almighty android 4.0 is upon us and my god its sexy!!!! although i noticed some cm inovations (hope they get credit)
So the sdk is out and someone is already busy porting it to the htc evo 3d will we have anyone porting for our beloved transformer?
Do you think asus being as quick as it has been in the past will give us a stock ices update?
Whats everyones thoughts on porting to the tf or cm9 or wether we will see stock or just 4.0 in general?
Searched dev thread this thread and the accessorys thread so hope im not re-posting

IMHO i think ICS looks so nice (i just want to try that face detection lock so bad )! and because our transformer is such a popular device i think we are going to get cm9 but i hope that asus will give us official update in 1 month MAX
and as for the sdk... its just useless because it is laggy and totally unusable IMO
Yep, heres hoping ICS will come to my TF101, there is much life left in teh TF101 platform ... come Asus, keep me a loyal customer.
Asus confirms ICS coming to Trasformer I & II. Pls follow below for full article.

That's a key thing. They would be perfectly dumb to leave TF owners--who are essentially paying testers of the very first iteration of their TF line--high and dry and lose us to other tablet OEMs. Customer loyalty is hugely valuable.
Sweet!!!! I love Ice Cream!
I would like to tell those ASUS execs out there that I am very impressed with their company. I have owned (and still own) several ASUS mother boards most of which have been excellent products. I am very happy with the level of support they are providing for my Transformer. When it came time to recommend a new desktop for my sister a couple of weeks ago we went with an ASUS from Newegg and she is very pleased with it.

With the release of Android 3.0 on the xoom in the wild, should I be looking out for a honeycomb based ROM?!?
*crosses fingers*
Try more looking and less posting.
Here we go again
Did you even do a forum search for honeycomb? Did you?
NO HONEYCREAMS. STOP ASKING. There are at least 5 very similar threads of other people asking the same frackin thing. If you want honeycomb so bad, overpay for a Zoom. Or wait patiently like the rest of us for a Rom to be posted. Asking over and over is not going to get it here any faster. Stop bugging the artists and let them paint.
P.S.
LEARN TO USE THE SEARCH BAR.

+1 on TheHoneyCreams!
I prefer Frosted Flakes.
Lets face it 95% ( probably 100% on XDA) of us who bought a Gtab did so to hack it to make it better faster etc. If we got Honeycream tomorrow in two days we would be posting questions about Tiramisu (Android 5.0). The devs are fantastic play with what you have today and READ posts about what you might get tomorrow.
Wait what????, i want tiramisu NOWWWW!!!!
No really, the worst thing of this post is that it is in development.

Pretty dead on, When I bought the g-tab in November I did so for potential at price range.
One of the potentials was the promise of honeycomb, but it's only been like 5 days out now. lol.
It took a month or so to get gingerbread out and even then it's still experimental, so sit back take a breath, and enjoy a very well rounded tablet (screen has yet to bother me.)
I am sure that as soon as one of the dev's get close to having HC boot they will let us know.

I also bought my gtab with the sole purpose of mod'ing it.but the hardware to price is why i ultimately bought it.After seeing all of the other HC threads,it amazes me that some folks are still creating new threads(especially puzzling when it is started by a member who has been around long enough to know better).

All joking aside, do we know which devs are actively working this? Small donations would be in line if you asked me. Also i would like to get in touch with them to see if they could use any help.

Totally.
Why is there not a section for the Samsung Droid Charge???
It's in VZW stores and goes on sale Tuesday!
Thanks.
I am with the OP. It's apparently already been fully Rooted, according to Android Police, though no recovery is set up yet, nor One click method.

I guess I'll have to got to the "OTHER" forums if I want any ifo one the Charge since theres no section for it here.
I mean for crying out loud u have a section for the nonexistent "Bionic" Why the hell cant you have one for the charge???
Yeah it does hurt I picked my charge up today and I can't even rely on my favorite developer site. Sad day for us all
wait where did you get a charge its not released yet? Also, please add a section for DROID charge guys!
Hmm well I was interested in this phone but unfortunately it looks like it won't be getting any developer support.
Not even a section on XDA? ouch..
i lucked up and found a small radio shack inside of a target, and got the guy to sell it to me as i was swiping my credit card his manager called a nd he was explaing the sell, and the problems he was having activating at first, and his manager told him that it wasnt supposed to be sold yet so i hurried up and press accept and there you have it.

hahaha lucky you! I hear the phone is already rooted. I actually work for Verizon and we are unable to sell it so I am waiting for mine. This phone better get some dev support, once its converted to ext4 its a beast. The new PowerVR gpu is supposed to be sweet.
I wish you luck getting a forum as they totally ignored the LG G - Slate which is also a popular device!

Hope some good devs will be on this phone.
I know imnuts has serious intentions of deving.
Can't wait till the development forums get kicking.
I can't wait to see some roms start coming out for the Charge. This phone is awesome.

Hey moon haven't i seen you somewhere before lol
Glad to see ya made it here. Even tho I don't have a charge. (yet)
One bad thing about getting the charge is starting from scratch as far as deving goes.
I have a fascinate and this thing is chock full of mods. Themes galore, lots of roms and kernels, all sorts of mods. I even have a custom splash to replace samsung logo at boot.
Gonna be tough starting with nothing. I guess it will be exciting watching it grow from nothing.

It will happen quickly if devs can get the phone. This phone has so much potential.
Is anyone else getting INSANELY bored with the same old stuff for the T-bolt? I know that I am currently missing the daylights out of my good ole trusty HTC G2. Does anyone have some advice? I am running the new hacked 2.3 rom right now, but there doesnt seem to be anything truly new done.

Feel free to shove off anytime now, mate. Clearly you don't pay much attention to your surroundings, but there's some excellent work out there. Maybe I'm alone in this, but I don't buy phones to see how many crappy ROMs I can flash on it. The Tbolt dev community is focused tightly on cranking out reliable, feature-rich, functional ROMs. None of these guys are slouches. And now that I've said my piece, I'm gonna forward this thread to the first mod I run across because its totally pointless. Thanks for your vacuum of input.
Have u tried a aosp rom....
Sent from my A05PTH3ORYB0LT using XDA App
Yeah, some of the AOSP roms are beautiful BUT I personally think we need to pull together to get that darned RIL working with MIUI and THEN the T-bolt will be amazing again.
@ Loon: Hiya bud, nice to see ya trollin yet another thread ;-)
G2 came out ages ago when most things were new on android....maybe that's why nothing seems "innovative" to you anymore
There's a saying that everything seems great in the past because we forget the things that were bad.

I like how you think loon is the troll. You realize that a vast majority of the people in these forums don't care about your opinion, as they find the Thunderbolt to be an awesome, feature rich phone with fantastic dev support.

Sorry in advance, I know this is the wrong place to post this but it has already been posted where it should be. And No comments as of yet. Plus there is a much bigger following on this subforum then in the tablet section. This is a Desk stand for ASUS Transformer TF101 tablet. I have looked everywhere for this item, I cant even find it on ASUS website. Has anybody seen this desk dock? Or know of a website that sells them. Thanks and again sorry for the inconvenience.

Well FYI I did search with Google and I sent email to ASUS costumer support and their reply was they had no idea where it came from.
1. I had a transformer and every official accessory that was available. Never seen this.
2. This is the desire z / g2 section... not sure why u r here.

I still think it was a prototype or concept accessory that never made it to production.

The closest thing to that is available at:
amazon.com/MoKo-Folding-Transformer-10-1-Inch-Android/dp/B00565T3ZW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1334170087&sr=8-1
unfortunately, the ASUS EeePad Transformer stand was never made.
as always, you can always find a forum dedicated to transformer users..and create a 'group buy.' sometimes they will produce it if there is enough of a purchase to cover R&D costs/labor.
While the Nokia N9 might be Nokia’s first and last efforts at a MeeGo device, it certainly does not meant that developers for the handset have given up entirely as well. As you can see in the photo above, one particular developer has uploaded the picture onto his Twitter account, clearly showing what appears to be Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean running on the N9. We can’t tell if this is for real or if it is a fake, but if it is real, this is most definitely good news for N9 users who might be looking to give their device a new lease on life, much like how the HP TouchPad saw a recent surge in popularity due to its ability to run Android ROMs on it. It’s also hard to tell how far along this port is, but we will be sure to keep an eye out for more news regarding its status and availability, so stay tuned!:laugh::laugh:

Pretty cool. I like the design of that device, as well as the Lumia, so this might make for a fun project phone.
Hey,
how can we get behind this? Want to know how to get this Android, etc. Would also like to see a Nokia N9 section.. think it's one of the most amazing smartphones ever built.. like N900. Classic.
As I recently got a brand new n9 64gb as a present by my girlfriend today <3 :good::laugh: :silly: *happy*
Kind regards from Germany
I am ready working over the android port for the N9 as i have it with me as my 4th spare device. If i get 100 people at least asking or supporting this, i am ready starting this.

Really hope that you will start working on the N9. :fingers-crossed: I really love the phone, and I think it's a shame that it was pretty much left to die by Nokia. I've heard rumours about maybe a Jolla Sailfish port? I ain't no genius when it comes to programming, but, I do have a Nokia N9 and the will to help out in whatever testing you might need done.
Any Hope of getting Lollipop on a N9
