Best El Cheapo DIY Nexus One Dock

The best thing I have found for a cheap dock was something starring me in the face and it donned on me.

I made one out of a hotel key card. A credit card will do too. Looks pretty similar to the one you purchased here.

I got it from THIS GUY on eBay.

I'm just attaching to my Siedio clip case a small Metal L Bracket that I picked up at Home Depot .

Ha! I have it, and I didn't know that was there. I haven't looked in the wallpapers since a couple of builds ago, so I was not aware of that one yet.
And office depot was closed so I went to officemax and picked up a similar deal...but it is metallic mesh. Awesome idea, and cost like a buck. Perfect setup for the clock/alarm/weather deal.

lol i'm not gonna lie.. even this app interest me.. i can see this being a good source of cheap ****s and giggles.. lol... but yea.. not gonna hold my breath for this to come our way... it's one of those.. if it was available.. i would try it out... but since its not.. i dont care... type things..

As we all know the almighty android 4.0 is upon us and my god its sexy!!!! although i noticed some cm inovations (hope they get credit)
So the sdk is out and someone is already busy porting it to the htc evo 3d will we have anyone porting for our beloved transformer?
Do you think asus being as quick as it has been in the past will give us a stock ices update?
Whats everyones thoughts on porting to the tf or cm9 or wether we will see stock or just 4.0 in general?

IMHO i think ICS looks so nice (i just want to try that face detection lock so bad )! and because our transformer is such a popular device i think we are going to get cm9 but i hope that asus will give us official update in 1 month MAX
and as for the sdk... its just useless because it is laggy and totally unusable IMO

That's a key thing. They would be perfectly dumb to leave TF owners--who are essentially paying testers of the very first iteration of their TF line--high and dry and lose us to other tablet OEMs. Customer loyalty is hugely valuable.

I would like to tell those ASUS execs out there that I am very impressed with their company. I have owned (and still own) several ASUS mother boards most of which have been excellent products. I am very happy with the level of support they are providing for my Transformer. When it came time to recommend a new desktop for my sister a couple of weeks ago we went with an ASUS from Newegg and she is very pleased with it.

That's because it was all about the root. I miss my Eris forum and fully understand why so many devs have abandoned the E4GT. The environment and culture on this board are pretty horrible.

It was back in the day when not everybody rooted or messed with their phones. I was a ppcgeeks guy as well. Everybody in there knew the risks and honestly tried to search and fix their phones themselves before asking questions. Also the questions made sense....lol

I've been a geek a long time now... I've seen this happen for everything that eventually hits the mainstream. It's, Unfortunately, inevitable. The next step is slash-and-burn style forum hopping and the geekier among us developing vetted "gated communities".

PPCGeeks is how I found XDA. If you wanted a CDMA Winmo rom, they were the place to go. Back then, XDA really only dealt with GSM roms. Both forums have changed A LOT since then.

HANG ON! I THINK I'VE BEEN ABLE TO DECODE THIS TEXT! Here's what I've pulled from this message....
I think he's talking about the partially working JellyBean ROM in our NS GSM development section. And he is referring to the title "crack flasher". Apparently its a term crack dealers are familiar with. When he said "I remember when I sold....", I believe he was literally talking about a time when he used to deal crack. Then he closed up by making a joke that crackheads are crazy and will say or do anything (even if that means lying, cheating, etc) for crack. This ties directly to a joke or disappointment towards the ROM. The ROM isn't fully functional so maybe he is trying to connect the developer to a crack head in the sense that they'll do anything for a "drug". The symbolic "drug" that the DEV has is getting people to flash his ROM and get posters, even though it isn't finished (because the DEV lied in the OP's opinion).
All in all he was just making a poorly written joke about the title in the thread that pertains to the JellyBean port.
You're welcomed fellow forum members. Now we can all sleep easier tonight. The OP's message will no longer plague our heads with confusion.
