My wife downloaded an app from T-Mobile and it apparently added an app called "My Device." It is not listed in my app list. How can I successfully remove this? Thank you and God bless all you geniuses!!!

Try root explorer. Go to system / app, mount rw, find desire app and simply delete it

Just download it from the market again........ that is presuming you have actually paid for it. If not use astro or root explorer to make a backup of the .apk that's how I make backups of all my apps, saves downloading them everytime I mess up my phone or decide to change ROM.

Yes i did pay for it haha What folder do the market apps download to?
Edit: nevermind i found it

Download astro file manager open it, press menu choose tools and then app backup........ backup the apps you want to keep and they will appear in a backup folder on your SD card, install the new ROM then reinstall all the backed up apps. Or you could use titanium backup to save your data too.

Does anyone know of a backup app which will backup then restore all of my apps without having the install window popup for each one. I currently have titanium backup installed, but it is very tedious having to hit install for my 100+ apps.

Try MyBackupPro.

Buy the pro version of titanium backup. Notice how the free version doesnt have hypershell enabled? Thats what you want, right there.

When you are in the Play Store tap the menu and check your account settings. I'd recommend removing and then resigning into your account to see if that fixes the problem. Hope this helps!

You have to use superuserSU. I backed up my ROM just in case I messed something up with root permissions because I was going to use updatesuperuser app instead. I didn't though I found that I was OK with the updated superuserSU. Update superuser allows to write SU permissions and choose which app you want to use for SU but the app itself grants root permission.Should you allow it. So before closing app if you're not happy with that one you do what I said above and change permission to w.e. app you want or you lose root its easier then I made it sound trust me

Go to google play store download superSU. It should tell you that your phone is in need of an update choose to do it the normal way instead of through cwm or twrp. It'll do its thing and should restart. You should now have an updated su, its also going to ask you if you have any other su app and then it'll alert or prompt you to delete any other apps(which it does for you)and remove permissions to avoid any problems of confusion amongst the system
