[Resolved] Backup app without install window - General Questions and Answers

Does anyone know of a backup app which will backup then restore all of my apps without having the install window popup for each one. I currently have titanium backup installed, but it is very tedious having to hit install for my 100+ apps.

Buy the pro version of titanium backup. Notice how the free version doesnt have hypershell enabled? Thats what you want, right there.

[Q] Keeping XDA Premium app?

Ifi flash a new rom to my phone, how can i keep xda premium?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997R using XDA Premium App
Just download it from the market again........ that is presuming you have actually paid for it. If not use astro or root explorer to make a backup of the .apk that's how I make backups of all my apps, saves downloading them everytime I mess up my phone or decide to change ROM.

Yes i did pay for it haha What folder do the market apps download to?
Edit: nevermind i found it
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997R using XDA Premium App
Download astro file manager open it, press menu choose tools and then app backup........ backup the apps you want to keep and they will appear in a backup folder on your SD card, install the new ROM then reinstall all the backed up apps. Or you could use titanium backup to save your data too.

Mine is Superuser No but on a serious note Titanium Backup is a must-have and i also love Solid Explorer
I have several that come to mind:
System Tuner Pro
Screencast
ROM Toolbox Pro
Of course my fave root app is link2sd
This is the problem solver for device which had very limited internal storage
Great app!

Titanium backup (or similar) by far... without an app as convenient as that android wouldn't be half as sweet.

Deleting bloatware

Hey guys. What is the easiest way to get rid of all the bloatwear and unwanted apps that came with this phone? I've tried the Root Explorer method but the apps are still there. What can I do?

+1. That's what I did at first. I've now moved onto the JMT rom.
Use Titanium Backup, you can uninstall just about anything, and because you can uninstall just about anything you want to make sure you know what you are deleting is non-essential.

Yea I'm leaning towards that. Just seeing if there's a one button user app back up button that'll do the same. What does the jelly bean backup backup? Apps? I'm running sky jb

What he (or she!) said.
System Tuner Pro, Titanium Backup Pro Key and AppMonster Pro all work quite well. I'm partial to System tuner and AppMonster, as TiBu often hangs and needs to be FC'ed to keep the process moving.

[Q] App Data backup without root??

I have looked in the playstore and most backup apps need root to backup app data. I bought a Skyrocket for a friend of mine overseas and I want to make sure he can transfer data from his apps to the Skyrocket. His phone is stock and not rooted. Anyone know a way to backup app data without root??

Lifehacker.com recommends Carbon. Haven't tried it yet myself. It's on my wishlist. Using App backup & restore by Infolife LLC myself. Haven't had the need to do a restore yet, so don't know if it's really good.

A lot of apps backup the apk's but not all will backup the data that goes with them without root. Super backup needs root to restore app data.
