Hi guys,
I was following the steps to downgrade my HTC Desire HD from 2.50.178.4 to 1.32 from this page.. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1152233
Everything works, the phone even goes into bootloader and everything, the problem is that at the end, it just says (phone's version is older, Update failed!)
Can u please help, i want to downgrade, then root it so i can install sense 3.5 into my DHD.

Hey Guys i a have a Htc magic 32A....
i had a 1.5 version htc sence rom .....then i wanted to get a 1.6 one so i got this official rom of 1.6 from htc ..it was 54 mb...
now when i start my phone its stuck on the Htc Magic screen , i know a bit about updating and changing roms so i tried the safe mode , i cant get in there and then i tried the boot loader i cant get in there 2....i have no clue what to do...anyone knows what to do please lemme know!! big help

You would probably have more luck if you posted it in the right section. And i know there is already a lot of thread on this matter so you might even have the answer written down somewhere!
hello everybody......i am user of htc wildfire handset. i want to upgrade android to 2.3 gingerbread. while upgrading i tried to use this rom : RUU_Buzz_HTC_WWE_1.14.405.2_R_Radio_13.45.55.24_3.35.15.31_release_130814_signed.

sorry for making it here, but i think thats right - if not please do it to the right thread.
so my big problem is: I have a HTC Dream/Magic from Vodafone, that B version with only 192 MB Ram. And i tried to recover it, but now i have got a bootloop. that sucks... and i donno how to recover it correctly. its rooted, for sure. i have had ginger yoshi 2.3.3 android version on it, but it was to slow for me. so i search someone who can explain me step by step what i have to do now AND someone who can gave me tips for a good rom.

That is to say, Android 2.3.5, HTC Sense 2.1 for Messenger.
Everything is fine but my phone is telling me there is an update available (7.1 Mb).
I've already downloaded it but when I try to install it, it doesn't work.
Before I try to figure it out what's hapenning and how to solve the problem, I just would like to know :
What kind of update is it ? It comes from HTC ? What will happen on my phone ? Will I lose my custom ROM, S-ON, Root ? Do I need to update ?
I don't realy know the meanings of theses words so can you help me ?

Hello guys,I have seen such a lot of posts and topics around here and i feel so lost.
So i want to unroot my Htc one mini and i am at the stage where i have locked the bootloader..It seems that there is not an available RUU that can unroot for me,but i can't find another way.The software number of my phone is 4.09.161.6 .
Please help i feel desperate!
