Hello everybody !
This is my first post here so please don't be angry if my question is a little bit confusing or even idiot, I'm trying to understand every words your using but I'm still working on it ...
So, my HTC Chacha is s-on, root and I'm running Stock Plus v1.4

That is to say, Android 2.3.5, HTC Sense 2.1 for Messenger.
Everything is fine but my phone is telling me there is an update available (7.1 Mb).
I've already downloaded it but when I try to install it, it doesn't work.
Before I try to figure it out what's hapenning and how to solve the problem, I just would like to know :
What kind of update is it ? It comes from HTC ? What will happen on my phone ? Will I lose my custom ROM, S-ON, Root ? Do I need to update ?
I don't realy know the meanings of theses words so can you help me ?

Hey Guys i a have a Htc magic 32A....
i had a 1.5 version htc sence rom .....then i wanted to get a 1.6 one so i got this official rom of 1.6 from htc ..it was 54 mb...
now when i start my phone its stuck on the Htc Magic screen , i know a bit about updating and changing roms so i tried the safe mode , i cant get in there and then i tried the boot loader i cant get in there 2....i have no clue what to do...anyone knows what to do please lemme know!! big help

You would probably have more luck if you posted it in the right section. And i know there is already a lot of thread on this matter so you might even have the answer written down somewhere!
I have a HTC HD2,and i wanted to get android on it so i get it,it was froyo 2.2! That was really great solution! So a few days ago I saw that there is a newer version of android like 2.3. gingerbread,i wanted to install it and i updated my rom to 2.15.50.14 so i downloaded it and installed. After that my htc wont start up i mean he is trying to start but only when he is on charger but he only keeps restarting all day! Do i have any solution to fix it ? Please somebody tell me if know how to fix?! Thank's !!
Hello, I have posted here before but in the wrong place maybe.
I am having a massive issue with my LEO. Its currently in Spanish and i need it in Englsih. I tried a few months ago and somehow ended up installing a brand new stock ROM. My i now have 2 problems HSPL 3 wont go onto the phone, it just keeps freezing and 2 i dont know how to install an older stock ROM. Any help would be massivley apperciated.
There are so many forums and questions on here i just get confused.

it normally works with HSPL... but as it wont go onto your phone... I don't know what to say.. try another version of HSPL

I have a nice little ace phone and i'm having a lot of issues with my phonememory.. I had to delete more and more apps now I still have two..
and there are still issues with that memory
- I would like to know how I can update my android version? I know there is no official update available for my phone..
- Is it safe to update my version? What are the risks?
- Where can I get the update? 4.0 .. 4.1

The first step you need to take is figuring out how to get root access on your phone. After that, look for the updated android version for your phone.

then u can get 4.0 and 4.1 version.

I really need help from someone what can Build a Firmare.
I have a Dooge cube p1 beamer and thats run with a android 4.x.x firmware .
the Firmware have some spezial apps to controll it over smartphone . thats can be very userfull if this work but i have problems ...
what i really need is a running firmware android 5 or newer .
this version isent longer supported and its not longer possible to open installed apps . i get always a login popup .
i search her and google a really long time and all i found are people what hope for a new firmware .
maybe you want te help me and other people .
you can make the first custom rom for this device
