Where, in a ROM, can I find, and change the lockscreen commands? I do not mean how do I select a lockscreen method, but how can I add or change lockscreen methods into a ROM? Where in the root files do I find these?

Is there a file (in framework-res or elsewhere) I can delete to disable the lockscreen and leave only the password unlock screen?
I've been experimenting, but I haven't found the right file since I'm stuck in a boot loop.
Thanks for any help!
P.S.: I would simply use the lockscreen toggle in the notification bar, but it only works for the first couple of minutes after boot then does not toggle. Anyone know how to fix this (I'm on HyperDroidGBX v9)?
Not sure where to ask this - I'd like to add "Seconds" to the stock android lock screen clock, where can I find the file for this?
Thanks -
Anyone Here knows how to replace Default Lockscreen with any other in the ROM ...

I am editing/modifying a ROM so i need the location of LOCKSCREEN.....
I am not 100% sure, but you will need to go in the root folder:
system/apps
And if you don't see any lockscreen.apk, I have read somewhere that you need to modify the frameworks.
But again I am not developer, I have just read it a long time ago.
What would it take to make an app that allows you to switch the softkey layout (like the G2)? Image at the site below:

Bump:good:
i use softkeyZ

for custom layout.. i'm waiting for more custumized roms.

Looks good! I'm looking for a mod i can flash (Cwm/twrp) without root
Let me rephrase the question. What would it take to build my own application similar to this? I don't want to pay money to move some buttons around. Would it be possible to pull the code out of the G2 rom and make a generic apk for other roms?
It looks like you just decompile SystemUI.apk, edit the navigation_bar.xml to change the button order, recompile SystemUI.apk and flash it. I am curious though how the G2 is able to change these values on the fly without root and without rebooting.
I found this regarding changing the button order:

Guys, I want to change only status bar fonts (clock, date, battery, carrier label). Can any body tell me which files should I edit to do this? Or which files should I select to install font for only status bar fonts? I have downloaded some .ttf fonts, but where I should put these? I just want to change the status bar fonts, not whole system fonts.
Any root guide or windows tool guide will be tappreciated.
Thanks in advance.
